Finally getting around to reviewing this business...We bought a house and about 6 weeks later our waterline out front busted. It was close to the side walk and we hoped it would have been on the city side - no such luck. We had a couple companies out to talk to us about repairs and costs. We ended up selecting this one and we are so happy we did. The quote was a little higher then the others but we felt more comfortable with the way it was presented. We didn't feel like we got low balled and then tons of extra charges would be added after they were done. They stayed within budget, and were very professional with their work! It was a larger expenditure, so we talked to the office about payments in order not to dig into our savings. They happily ablidged and we agreed to a monthly payment which we paid of early. We have used Kerns in the past to empty our septic tank. they were good, showed up etc... but for the past 5 years or more they have chosen not to return our calls. The last time they were out the service person told us our septic system was actually an old cistern. My calls to them since have been about putting in a new system and removing the old. Perhaps they do not want to deal with the removal and extra work involved with that. Regardless they have had plenty of opportunity to call us back and have chosen not to repeatedly. We have heard from other people that not calling people back is a regular occurrence from Kerns. read more
