I called 2 more times and OCR would not even call me back. After sitting in a treatment room waiting for Rocky Trumper to never see him have to leave and go to work and no call back, no apology etc. Just a truly unfortunate thing as they used to be a good company. That's what too much growth and greed causes I guess. Good thing is now that I have a good relationship with CU Medicine in Boulder/Broomfield. Far more professional, timely and thorough. NO more OCR for me! ps still highly recommend Shawn Grey for shoulder surgery. My one good thing to come out of OCR many years ago.

However, I was able to get an assessment of several radiologists - the consensus opinion was that at best, the difference was 1/8th of an inch. Most people go through life not knowing that one leg may be up to an inch longer than the other. So a maximum difference is a bulls eye. I deleted my initial comment once I got a good report. Loucks is an outstanding surgeon.

My assigned Physical Therapist, Cynthia Jacobson was unresponsive; taking anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to answer emails. She did not update my records (leading to weeks of wasted time, effort and back and forth). And ultimately lied about her conversations with myself, my surgeon and my insurance advocate. My much needed surgery is not able to be scheduled at this point. Leaving me seek therapy elsewhere. All of this could've been handled 6 weeks ago had she done her job! If you have the misfortune of working with this facility please keep this in mind, oh and don't bother going to their supervisors (they don't care either). Document everything.

Fortunately, I was able to see Dr. Smith, a *trauma* specialist, rather than a sports medicine person. Dr, Smith was brisk and to the point, but friendly and warm as well. No beating around the bush, he knew exactly what the deal was, the risks of surgery, and how to read the scans from the ER. I was in the exam room with my partner and my best friend, and he treated both of them, as well as me, as valid and present partners in my health care. The office staff were warm, kind, and efficient, and I left after 50 minutes knowing exactly what the next 6 months should look like for my recovery. It's too bad he's only a trauma specialist, I'd go to Dr. Smith for everything if I could. But I'm glad he's a specialist. He saved me $X,000 in costs for surgery, plus down time, and reassured me I'd be back on my back as soon as *I* felt ready. The surgery went well and he had a special splint made that would allow me to get back to work ASAP. He said the swelling would take a year to completely resolve and he was right.
