I would like to suggest that Keshar puts Achari Aloo on their menu. They have made it for me on request a couple times now, and it is absolutely transcendental. I have no idea what they are doing with it but it's hot (spicy) and absolutely full of flavor. It is so good.... I crave it all the time and it is a delight when I get to order it. I love potatoes and the spicy pickle, and they have married these both in a dish that is beyond description. This restaurant has mastered the art of spice. The food is so good... even something so simple as papadum they make excellent. Dedham is very lucky to have them!!! read more

I stopped by Keshar Indian Bistro in Dedham very recently. The place is very cozy with a few tables and pickup counter. They offer online ordering and delivery (DoorDash). I placed an online order through Toast for pickup, so I could drive there and it would be ready. I got the Navratan Korma ($18.75 plus tax) with rice and Aloo Parantha ($5.25 plus tax). The order was being packed and bagged as I arrived. I enjoyed the food nearby, still very hot. The Navaratan Korma was a good portion with a mix of vegetables (zucchini, carrots, green beans), tofu, spices in a savory and spicy cream sauce. The rice was soft and not sticky. The Aloo Parantha was a soft baked naan filled with soft potato spread, great for dipping in the korma. This place located right in Dedham square and recently opened. The art inside the restaurant was very pretty to look at. The service staff were friendly and provided great recommendations. The rose lassi was a fan favorite. I usually also get mango lassi but the rose was a nice twist. The appetizers were my favorite part of the meal. The cauliflower chili was spicy and tangy. The chicken 65 was spicy and crispy. The chicken tikka masala was okay and a bit bitter than expected. The garlic naan was a bit too garlicky. However the chicken curry was amazing. Best Indian restaurant we have found in MetroSouth. First off the staff was super welcoming and nice when we arrived. We asked a number of questions, and they took their time with each one. We have been trying to find a decent Indian Restaurant after Coriander changed ownership, and it has been a very disappointing journey, until now. We started with the Allo Tikki Chat, and Coconut Shrimp. Both were well done, The Coconut shrimp was not overly sweet as it is in so many restaurants. We then had Palak Paneer, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, with Cheese Garlic Naan. We also had 2 Mango Lassi's and 1 Masala Chai. When trying an indian restaurant you have to order Chicken Tikka Masala to see how they do it. It was well done and the flavor was just right, salty enough, not too sweet, and tasted the smokiness of the chicken. The Lamb VIndaloo had rich flavor, we asked for a medium and could feel it. The butter chicken had a nice rich flavor. The Garlic Naan tasted fresh and crispy. The only dish I felt was not perfect was the Palak Paneer. Sometimes people overblend the Spinach, and it had gotten to the point where it felt more of a smoothie. The Mango Lassis were also well done, not too sweet and you could taste the mango and the cooling yogurt. The Masala Chai was also full of flavor and not overly sweet. Been here about 5 times. Everything is good. Really like the vindaloo (especially lamb). Samosas and garlic naan are better than most. Lassis are good. I like spicy and they make some food really spicy if you ask, so keep that in mind. Lunch combos are great addition (and lots of food). read more

We were driving off Rt 1A in Dover around 1, enjoying the nice homes getting hungry when the urge struck. You know the gotta have Indian craving! Need Tikka Masala which is my and apparently many others go to dish. We checked Yelp, saw the 5 stars with 14 reviews indicating they were pretty new but well thought of and set course. Only 8 minutes away. We have the dog so it has to be take out unless we could park directly in front. Rough parking around there, maybe some spill over from the busy courthouse scene of another big case this one the butcher Walsh so take out it was. Since I didn't order until we got there I sat with Rahul and chatted for 20 minutes until it was ready. He told me about the original Bistro in Sandwich and how they opened 4 months ago and how momentum was happening mostly from word of mouth. He said once people taste the food they spread the word. I'm spreading the word my dish was great, Nice chicken and a perfect medium hot sauce. Serve it with a straw! The Kashmiri Naan was the perfect accompaniment to sop the sauce up. It took us 35 minutes to get home in Friday afternoon traffic and it was still pretty hot on arrival only requiring a very brief buzz in the oven. I will add the Basmati rice was very nicely cooked too, not sticky. Perfect meal for 2 for under $30. I came with three friends and got a mild Tikka masala, medium butter chicken, mild palak paneer, spinach pakora, veg samosa, and garlic, cheese, and aloo naan. It was all very delicious, well portioned, and well priced! Would highly recommend for anyone craving Indian around Dedham! read more

I lived in India for a while in 2009, and this was the best Indian food I have had since then. We had the Coconut Shrimp, Chicken Tikka Masala and Mango Chicken. The two chicken dishes were done to perfection. The chicken was tender and tasted like they had just made everything fresh in order. We were welcomed warmly and given all the time we needed for our sit-down dinner. The food was FABULOUS. Our favorite was the deconstructed samosa appetizer, big enough for a meal and so so delicious. The cheese naan was a close second! I highly recommend. Great food in an unexpected location. This place is located inside the Best Western and was a pleasant surprise. The taste and food quality was very fresh and drinks were delicious. planned to pick up takeout because our on and dil had been two days ago and highly recommended, but then decided to sit and eat in the spare but cheerfully painted space. We have been waiting for Keshar to open in Dedham and wow it was worth the wait! We are huge Indian food lovers and have had plenty of Indian in the neighboring towns which is good but the food at Keshar was delicious! We called in our order and picked up our food 20 minutes later, the space is clean, bright and cozy. We got an app, 2 meals and naan bread, the portions were generous, the spice/taste was spectacular and the service was wonderful! We will be back soon, thank you! read more
