Lets start the review with the staff you notice when you 1st walk in... The team that handles the appointments, cancellations, collecting and inputting all the Doctor and Customer information along with getting approvals for the therapy itself from the Medical Plans. These young ladies are always busy making sure everyone has been helped, signed in and when leaving, given their appointments for the next 2 weeks. They are courteous, helpful and always ready to answer patients questions. When I first walked in they set me up with Tova Griffel... I explained to her the problems I was having and why. She looked over the Doctors notes and the information the front desk input. We did some paperwork and then she examined my knee and walked me through some of the exercises to see where my pain threshold was. She did a lot of twisting and flexion tests to make sure she would be giving me the right amount of exercise and weight to use so as not to overwork the knee and add more pain to the area of meniscus. Tova worked alongside of me for the better part of 6 weeks. Always watching and correcting me when I veered off course because of the pain. Tova would make sure that if there was any pain we would stop and move on to another exercise to recover. If massage was needed because of the knee being stiff or my quadriceps being tight, she would bring me to a table and work on them until they were loose, then back to the grind, lol. Tova is not there for just Physical Therapy, she becomes your partner, confidant & friend. She is there for you for the hour but if you call her or come early there is no problem whatsoever. She is well educated, knows her business and is compassionate. She listened to my problems, complaints ( and I had a few ) but always helped and made sure that I was 100% before I left everyday. My 8 year old son receives physical therapy here three times a week with Gabe for his knee. We cannot say enough about how wonderful the staff is here! You are warmly greeted each time by Kristina or Kat at the front desk. They are also very helpful with scheduling. Rima, the director, takes an individual interest in each client and consults on progress with the physical therapists regularly. Every therapist we have worked with has been outstanding in their work and in their kindness. They make my son feel welcomed, comfortable and motivated. He has worked with Lisa, Meghan, Scott and Gabe. Gabe is his regular physical therapist. Gabe has gone above and beyond with my son's therapy. Every visit he builds on as his his knee gets stronger. He talks to my son about physical activity outside of therapy, nutrition, sports and school. He is a great therapist and and role model for him. Gabe listened to my concerns about my son's flat feet contributing to his injury. Gabe consulted Rima and directed us to a pediatric podiatrist. Gabe even came to the appointment with us to share what he is is seeing in therapy! This has made all the difference in my son's progress. My son's issues with his knee/ankle injuries began 10 months ago and I sincerely believe that we have seen the most progress, gotten the most direction and felt the most hope of full recovery since coming to Kessler and working with Gabe and the staff here. Had ACL reconstruction and menisci tear and repair in last week of July, on my first week i couldn't walk by myself and had brace and crutches. It was terrifying experience. On my first visit to Kessler i meet Stephanie who assisted me in PT, she helped me to start walking without crutches in first 3 weeks, as menisci repair takes long time i think 3 weeks time to make a person walk without crutches is great. Im still going for my PT and today I am lot better as i can do leg press with 70 pounds, Kessler's dedication in PT is excellent. staff in Kessler is amazing and very friendly, i enjoy going to Kessler and don't feel bored to heal from my post surgery at all. Scheduling time is very easy and convenient, you can also easily reschedule your time based on PT availability. If you want to reschedule with someone else its easy as well. Most of the staff in this location knows me very well by now. lastly i will not forget to write honest feedback about Stephanie, she is awesome in her knowledge, know how to recover her patients, very friendly with her patients and ensures that you do the right thing in her sessions, she follows up with her patients if they skip any sessions to ensure you attend all sessions prescribed by your doctor, she keeps her report up to date and always asks for updated prescription from doctor. I turned to Kessler following a knee injury which severely restricted my mobility. I was assigned to work with Stephanie (my primary physical therapist) and Scott. Stephanie designed a plan to set me on a path to normalcy that included graduated steps in strength training, flexibility, and mobility. I began my course of therapy with a great sense of trepidation about what level of recovery I could expect. Both Stephanie and Scott answered my questions with a generous dose of realism coupled with inspiring motivation that truly pushed me to tackle every new bit of physical therapy. My hour long sessions were three times a week for seven weeks. I was pleasantly surprised to see the progress from week to week. By the end of my weeks of therapy, I felt strong, determined, and immensely grateful to both Stephanie and Scott for helping me through a difficult time. The true mark of the success of my time at Kessler was the ability to return to normal activities at home. Nuts and bolts: The facility is open, clean, and welcoming. The staff is friendly and very willing to help. Everyone operates with a positive attitude and good humor. Gabriella Trepper is an excellent Physical Therapist at Kessler Rehab in Edison, NJ. She is professional, knowledgeable, and personable. Gabby is always prepared and ready for work (even at 7am) and has a great demeanor. I was prescribed Physical Therapy for sciatica and suffered for over a month and a half with severe pain (standing or walking). When I began Physical Therapy I was afraid the pain would never go away. Gabby provided clear instructions for the Physical Therapy exercises during our sessions and paid close attention to form and technique so I was confident doing the follow-up exercises at home. When I asked how long she thought it would take, she provided an honest answer and said it would depend on whether I was dedicated to doing the assigned exercises at home. Within 10 sessions (and my home exercises) I made significant improvements and went from an 8 or 9 constant pain level to about a 4 at worst. I'm confident as I follow through with the rest of my PT sessions and continue to do the appropriate exercises Gabby assigned, I'll be very close to pain-free very soon. I commend all the staff at Kessler in Edison, NJ, but especially recommend Gabrilla Trepper for her expertise, dedication, and contagiously upbeat, friendly and positive attitude. I have been receiving therapy since May of last year (2016) for the complete rotator cuff tear of my left and right shoulders. I injured my left shoulder in April of 2016 and my right shoulder in October of 2016. Dr. Gabriel Eisner has been my physical therapist for both shoulders. I have found him to be highly professional in his ability to explain the type of exercises needed for rehab both at Kessler and at home. He is a natural educator who made sure that I understood the injuries I suffered and the methodology of the remediation that I was receiving. I am grateful to him for giving me back the ability to move my arms without pain and restriction of movement. The entire staff has been very helpful and supportive to me during this past year. Their enthusiasm and dedication to their patients is clearly evident, and they work as a team to provide assistance to everyone in the Kessler Center in Edison. As an educator, I have always advocated to my students that "knowledge is power." In October 2016 I was in an auto accident and my doctor recommended physical therapy for my neck and my back. I decided to go to Kessler and it turned out to be a great decision. I have been to other physical therapy places before and none compare to Kessler. The entire staff is very professional, friendly, and helpful. Christina and Sandy are both very friendly and make scheduling easy and hassle free. I have worked with therapists Stephanie, Scott and mostly Lisa and they all have been very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Over the past few months I have worked mostly with Lisa and she has been fantastic to work with. She really takes time to listen to my symptoms and then formulate a program designed specifically to my needs. She always adjusts my treatment as necessary depending on how I am feeling and explains everything every step of the way. Over the past couple of months she has helped me regain some strength and mobility as well as helping me with posture. She is very knowledgeable and always helps to educate me on my condition. After having my ACL and meniscus surgically reconstructed, I was sent to Kessler to begin rehabilitation. From my first visit it was clear to me that the therapists at Kessler had every intention of getting me back to my previously active lifestyle. I worked with Stephanie and Meghan for five months, three days a week, and couldn't have had a better experience. They were extremely personable and made going to PT enjoyable as opposed to the chore that I expected it to be. As an athlete, ACL rehab was extremely taxing and I wanted nothing more than to run immediately after surgery. Steph and Meg kept me motivated and always incorporated new workouts to keep me entertained. I will be officially six-months post-op in a few weeks and I am returning to sports and coaching faster than expected. I can honestly say that I owe all of my progress to my PTs. Scheduling appointments with Kessler always went smoothly and I was honestly sad to leave their care. If and when I return to PT for any other injury I will happily return to Kessler. After having an arthrogram of my right shoulder and finding out that I have multiple labral tears, I was sent to Kessler to begin physical therapy. I worked with Meghan from the months of October 2015-March 2016 to rehab my shoulder and regain pain-free mobility. Within those 5 months, I saw Meghan 3x a week and I couldn't have had a better experience. Meghan was personable and I looked forward to going to PT! Scheduling appointments with the office staff was a breeze and they were always warm and welcoming whenever I entered the office. As an athlete for the majority of my life, I wanted nothing more than to be able to return to an active lifestyle. Meghan showed me exercises that I could do both at home and the gym once PT concluded. Currently, I have returned to Kessler, for some minor discomforts. I have no doubt that Meg will be able to fix me right up and have me feeling better in no time. If I ever do venture down the road of shoulder labrum repair surgery, I know exactly who I would want to go to and entrust my faith in for PT. I highly recommend Kessler! read more

Kessler Institute is a friendly and welcoming facility beginning with the girls at the reception desk. I was in so much pain from two bulging discs that I could hardly walk, stand, or sit for any length of time. Thankfully, Gabriella Trepper, my assigned physical therapist, came to my aid. Her knowledge, professionalism, and compassion was greatly appreciated. She worked with great care to assure my comfort, answer all my questions (big and small), and assisted with therapy sessions so that they were convenient for me and my drivers...all done with a smile, and you can't beat that... and all helped in my healing and recovery. I recently had a follow up appointment with my doctor. He could not believe the improvements from the day I came to see him and after 4 weeks of physical therapy. I walked in virtually pain free. Kessler has helped to restore my hope that I will get better. Physical therapy really does help and work. About a month ago, when I first started I could hardly get in and our of my car, tie my shoes, go grocery shopping, or do anything without pain. I have 2 herniated discs in my lower back. Through the exercises I have been taught at Kessler I have come a long way- I can now do all those activities of daily living without pain. I especially have been taught what to do and what NOT to do. Physical therapy is work and you need to work on it outside of your sessions. You really do get out of it what you put in...do the exercises they teach you, watch your posture, and tighten that core! I am still not where I want to be, but I am confident and hopeful that I will get there. Stephanie, my Physical Therapist has been personable and nice but she knows to push me when I need it. I had surgery done on my right shoulder during the last week of March of this year. Since then I have been going to Kessler at the Edison location. My last session was on July 23rd. I am one of those few people who value excellent customer service and have been working with people all these years. I have to say that the level of courtesy, expertise and professionalism of my therapists Kunal Patel and Stephanie Drexler is impeccable. I am very grateful to them for personally ensuring my progressive recovery. Given the strenuous nature of their job, I have seen the unwavering service at all times during the day. That reflects total dedication to their patients. They have a wonderful leader in Rima Daswani who upholds all those qualities. I recently visited Kessler Rehab Center over a two-month period of time due to an issue that had developed with my shoulder blade after suffering a shoulder injury 2 years ago. Kessler is a great place that is very easy to work with overall. My work schedule is very demanding, and Kessler was very flexible and helpful in allowing me to schedule and re-schedule appointments when needed. Gabriella Trepper was my physical therapist and I couldn't have been happier with her treatment. She was accommodating to my issues and needs, while still pushing me to get better and stronger. She devoted a lot of her personal attention to me during my visits, to the point that I never felt like I was "just another" patient or client of hers. Best of all, she is very knowledgeable and good at what she does. She ultimately helped me see improvement and also taught me how I can continue to get stronger moving forward without her help. I started going to Kessler over 7 years ago when I suffered 2 herniated disks in my back and could not even walk. Rima, a miracle worker had me back walking and running within several months. She taught me home exercises so that I could continue to strengthen my back on my own. I am running in a marathon shortly and have been experiencing significant pain in my knees and thighs. I contacted Rima and she quickly got me in to see her. Rima has always been so helpful to me. She realizes my goals and my desire to stay as physically active as possible. She has worked with me on numerous occasion helping me fight through pain. Without Rima, I would not be able to walk, let alone run a marathon! I have been to other physical therapy facilities and am therefore qualified to say that the staff at Kessler is the most knowledgeable, friendly, and top-notch. Outstanding facility - everyone from the staff at the reception area to the physical therapists! They do an excellent job getting to know all of their patients. When you enter the facility, they greet you by your name and when you enter the treatment area regardless if you are working with a specific PT or not they all know your name. Gabe Eisen is the PT I have been working with and he is extraordinary. Having rehab background, my standards were high and he easily exceeded them. Gabe is extremely bright and is one step ahead of the process! He is professional, well-educated, articulate and knows exactly what he is doing. Each time I leave there, I feel physically better and emotionally knowing that I am on my way to recovery. I feel fortunate to be working with him. Rehab services for both me and my son were excellent! My special needs son was treated for Parkinsonism by Lilly ( Lillian C), who unfortunately transferred to another Kessler facility. Her expertise helped him make stability gains, strengthen his legs and carry over exercises and strategies used while he was in session. My son enjoyed seeing other therapists; Brian, Mohammed, Ron & Diana who worked with him on occasion, and we were always greeted by friendly staff . I was treated for neck strain by (mostly)Ron & Mohammad, whose treatment was also very helpful & appreciated. I was given simple but effective exercises to do both in session & at home. The exercises & stretching they perfomed in session were very helpful & really helped me feel better. I went to Kessler rehab center to help with a bulging disc in my back. I've never really had any major injuries, despite playing impact sports my whole life and doing manual labor for a log time. But I guess it caught up to me and I was eager to progress every week. My DPT Gabe was very understanding of any concerns I raised and answered every question possible. Everyone at Kessler was very friendly and made me feel comfortable going there. Every week I had new exercises to perform and different methods of rehab were used. If something was painful, it wasn't used agin until it was possible. With the combined exercise in house and at home, I was able to gain a full recovery. I only had a positive experience at Kessler, no complaints. If I ever had to go back to rehab, Kessler would be the place I'd go read more
