After going to two masses at St. Pius X church, I quickly realized that this church had made a home for me. The congregation is kind and devoted. Their programs and ministries are more output for regular churchgoers. I felt very inclusive of their purpose. I want to highlight the structure of their homily. They divided the messages into a "series" and bind it with the gospel readings fluidly. The result is well-crafted messages that speak to your heart very well! The greeters are very welcoming and they also offer kids ministry call led SLAM. Recommended for kids ages 4-10. St. Pius X is now a multicultural place of worship and you get the spiritual nourishment that you need especially through the message series, small groups and numerous ministries that one can and should join. You feel welcomed on arrival because you are welcome. I am now a proud member of St. Pius X for the past 2 years and I'm loving the direction that the Catholic church and St. Pius X is heading.

The first Sunday I missed due to having an engagement after college football playoffs. But I've been back the last two Sunday's in person and it is the recharge I needed! Thanks to my Yelpies for posting your check-in's at your churches, your dedication allowed to me see this was missing in my life. God has been so good to me! Literally has always had his hands over me. My old cadence was watching sermons on Monday's but to come in and feel the presence of God with others is special! Sunday's it is! Pastor Battle always teaches the Bible and makes you understand it where you can apply the teaching in real life. Highly recommend this down to earth, relatable Pastor!
