Its a bit pricey for day to day purchases, but could be a good place to get a one-off or something special

There are a couple of good jewellery stands that have very nice earring and other bits and the usual pottery stands, one of which often has seconds for sale which make it a bit cheaper. It's not a cheap place to visit as it seems to be marketed largely towards the clientele that Cambridge attracts which is mainly upmarket people but it is always worth a wander around and there are some bargains amongst the expensive stuff. A good place to take the parents if doing the grand tour of Cambridge and seeing all the touristy bits.

We sipped our drink as we waited for our meal. The servings were large and we were able to share some of them. Their oven-roasted partridge was the best and the chocolate fondant was nothing like I have ever tasted. We even had the opportunity to view paintings done by local artist and they were truly beautiful. The food I must say was very expensive, one of the main dishes (oven roasted partridge with celeriac puree braised kale and parsnip crisp) cost as much as £16.50, but we got good discount as a group and we were able to share some of the food saving us some money. The service was second-to-none, with friendly staffs and tasty food.
