I noticed I got 1 wart on the bottom of my left foot and 2 warts on the bottom of my right foot…read more The 1 wart on my left foot started paining so I decided to stop by the Chicago Foot Care Clinic and have Dr. Thimesch check them out. This practice does not accept Medicaid and unfortunately that is the medical coverage I currently have so I had to pay from my pocket for my treatment. For the initial consult I paid $150 where Dr. Thimesch looked at the warts and explained what they were and the fact that they have to be removed via laser treatment. A week later the staff of Dr. Thimesch got me on the schedule for laser treatment. On the day of the laser treatment I paid $525 and was called in shortly to receive anesthesia via a syringe around the warts so my feet would temporary loose sensation for the laser treatment. The Anesthesia Injections were painful - my left wart area needed anesthesia more than the right side due to the location of the wart. The treatment went smoothly and my wounds are in the healing process - Dr. Thimesch and his team did a great job! After the surgery the staff wrapped my feet up and dressed the wounds with the medical socks for easier management of the wounds. I was told not to shower, stay off my feet as much as possible and the possibility of the wounds bleeding due to the depth of the incisions. About 24 hours later I have had very minimum pain thanks to the antibiotic which was prescribed by Dr. Thimesch and Tylenol. Dr. Thimesch called me yesterday as well to follow up which was nice and to see if I have any questions - great customer care! This morning the staff called me as well to see how I was doing as well! Very amazing customer service from the Doctor and his staff. I have my follow ups for the next 6-8 weeks so Dr. Thimesch can clean my wounds and make sure my wounds are healing well. Definitely recommend this clinic to all Chicago Public for amazing care and service. 5/5

In under 45min, the toenail was taken care of, and I walked out without the ingrown toenail pain AND with advice on how to prevent it from happening again. I knew this was the doctor my husband needed, but the doctor didn't yet know how true that was. Importantly, the doctor listened to me. I explained that my husband is not a good patient. I mean he is not good at reporting his own condition, he's not likely to ever schedule any kind of doctor's appointment, and he's most likely to resist suggestions, especially from me. I explained all that to Dr A, asking him if he would master the situation so that my husband would see himself as having a man to man conversation. This is the type of relationship my husband will respond to, and I know he will do what the doctor says if he has this kind of one-on-one. I was blown away watching this seasoned physician (who had treated my elderly father with such expert care and sweetness) take on the role of the gentle shaman, advising my husband about taking stewardship of his own physical wellbeing, improving his ability to enjoy the latter part of his life with more relaxed mobility and in better health all around. People complain a lot about doctors who don't listen, so that's already something that sets Dr. A apart. But his agreement to take extra measures to work with a patient's particular psychology is giving "above and beyond" a new definition.

I was impressed early on not only with their existing knowledge, but commitment to learning about "what's new" and what are "best practices" in the field. On multiple visits, Dr. Riley shared what she had recently read in a journal or learned about in a seminar. I also felt very comfortable in knowing that I was not being pressured to make decisions. I went in (after having a visit with another podiatrist) on the impression that I needed immediate bunion surgery on both feet. Dr. Riley suggested that we start out with a less invasive approach first and to always use pain as my guide for decisions. I did eventually decide to get surgery. Twice. Both feet. I am/was a long time runner and came from a family of women who had "bad feet." I was nervous, but knowing what I had come to know about Dr. Riley, felt safe. The first surgery went perfectly and I'm now, a year later, recovering from the second. All office members are kind, considerate, competent, and trustworthy. When possible, I try to support women-owned businesses. This is one of those! And I'm so glad I checked them out!

When I disputed this, Dr. Sinclair said "she went over the charges with [me] at the time of service," which was not true. I went back and forth with the office for weeks and am incredibly frustrated with Dr. Sinclair's refusal to correct the billing code or even to answer my follow up questions. To those considering Performance Podiatry, I would not recommend this practice. If you do proceed with them, ask questions in person during your appointment and then do your own research before buying into what they try to sell you.

I saw dr betman a couple of times for some issues with my toes. He was late multiple times. And I'm…read morenot talking 5-10 minutes I'm talking closer to a half hour, which was at the very least annoying. I went to see him for some toe fungus in my big toe. I asked for him to laser it and he didn't feel that was the right choice of treatment. I suggested some rx medication that was $50 out of pocket. Months and multiple visits later problem still wasn't taken care of. I got irritated and decided to go next door to Foot and Ankle center. I saw Dr.Rivera there and he was always on time. Their office is cleaner and nicer and within two visits Dr Rivera had got rid of the toe nail fungus. In other words? Don't go here, go next door!
