I was so excited about reading about the fetish ball and how it was their 16th annual last night. My husband bought a Groupon for a male ticket, female ticket, and bondage gift. It was also supposed to start at 7p per our Groupon. We showed up at 730p and they told us that only VIPs were allowed in at 7p and that we couldn't get in until 9p. Well, we showed them the Groupon and they let us in. When we got in, we realized that they just opened and nothing was set up. The dancers didn't start on the stage til 8 something and performers were still trickling in. If I had paid for VIP, I would have been disappointed since they were still trying to figure out the night. Most of the entertainment was in their After Dark area, but it was so divided and crammed that it wasn't really worth watching the acts upstairs. I felt that the other stages upstairs in After Dark were thrown in a corner. The downstairs in Diamond Cabaret were 1 stage of performers and 3 stages for their normal dancers. The headliner for the event who was supposed to be a world renowned fetish model was on stage for maybe 3 min. Her act consisted of sitting on a chair, removing her shoes and stockings, putting on ankle bondage cuffs, removing her bra and skirt, putting on wrist bondage cuffs and a blindfold, then being escorted off the stage but a not so pretty drag queen. They also installed a small dance floor in between the stages. Normal tickets were $39 for damsels and $79 for dukes. I felt like it was a glorified costume party at a strip club. Highly disappointed especially considering the prices to get in. My husband and I left before midnight because it was just a let down. Entrance to After Dark was an additional price at $20/person. read more

The 2023 white rose gala was such a disappointment. we got the VIP tickets because we wanted to avoid too many lines and crowds however it still took us nearly 2 hours just to get drinks. It was very understaffed, the VIP section was small and the main area more interesting but the table we purchased was in the VIP area so not much we could do besides abandon the table we paid for. the music was not fitting for the event besides, the live band that played for maybe an hour max that was good. the balloon drop that was supposed to happen at midnight that everybody was waiting for never happened. a staff member had to pull over the mermaid and manually climb up there to drop the balloon nets one by one. The selfie with the light broke as we were waiting in line for it. just overall way too expensive for the experience, which was very college like considering how expensive the tickets tables and drinks were. read more

COMPLETE MISREPRESENTATION - FRAUD. BAIT AND SWITCH. Spent $200 for tickets for one of his "elegant" 2019-2020 NYC events. When we arrived we were shocked at how different the reality of the event was compared to the advertisement online. People were asking for refunds at the check-in when we arrived, which was our first clue... Drinks were WAY overpriced. $30+, which you couldn't purchase at the bar but had to buy raffle-esque tickets for, so elegant. I feel really bad for all the clearly angry customers that bought tables at $400-$500 to the event. Not only that but one of the "stunning acts" lost their hoola-hoop (yes, their advertised "stunning act" was a girl with a hoola-hoop), hit the table (with drinks on it) that we were standing at (this was 10 minutes into the event) and ruined my girlfriends designer dress. After I inquired, Kevin initially agreed to a refund. Then he didn't do the refund, and then fought the credit dispute. Kevin was anything but customer-service oriented. He cares about $ far more than his reputation it seems. He'll be getting a small claims letter soon. read more

Kevin really knows how to throw a party! We weren't sure what to expect but were so incredibly impressed and had a blast. From the people that attend, to the entertainment, to the great service and quick drinks, we will definitely be at any of Kevins events. Be ready to be entertained! I believe that Kevin Larson Presents has just discovered Yelp. We were considering going to the Mardi Gras event earlier this year. However there were no reviews on his events so we didn't. We decided to roll the dice and buy tickets to the Victorian Fetish Ball. After buying the tickets 5 really good reviews showed up. And they were all five stars. Well none of them were making this up. Everything about the event was top notch. Starting with the communications with Kevin himself prior to the event and arriving at the door and being greeted by great friendly door staff. When one of the hosts could not find our assigned table he was super apologetic. He finally found it because it was under my first name not my last name. He spent a good bit of time trying to figure it out as opposed to not caring. The other guests were pretty darn cool. Almost everybody Made a great effort to do cool costumes. There were only a few lamos who thought jeans and a mask were acceptable. No obnoxious drunks. And a great looking crowd to boot! We just bought tickets this morning to the Paranormal Palace and are looking forward to another great event. We highly recommend you check out one of his parties. read more

Kevin Larson Presents hosted the 16th annual White Rose Gala for New Years Eve at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House. My group of friends and I were very disappointed in the event. The website advertised "40+ performers", we saw about a dozen maybe a few more throughout, the dancers looked like they took one or two lessons max, and the music was lacklustre. The MC of the event introduced it as the 17th annual where "16th annual" was plastered on every wall, and apparently, the proceeds of the event were supposed to go to a charity but not once was the charity mentioned. The price of $80 was just to walk in the door, you had to pay for coat check, no open bar, not even a champagne toast, and the hors d'oeuvres were candy canes. The only thing that the White Rose Gala has going for it is the Roaring 20's theme, and the participation of the party goers with regards to the theme. Honestly, I would appreciate a refund for the false advertising and extreme overcharge. And I do not recommend the White Rose Gala. read more

I went to the Kevin Larson Presents Oktoberfest at Breckinridge Brewery. Got the VIP and everything but the event was completely different than advertised. There was no VIP section, the unlimited beer was limited heavily. And the food and events seemed to be planned last minute. read more

Kevin Larson Presents hosted the 2016 White Rose Gala for New Years Eve at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House and the Roaring 20's theme was a smash. The entertainment, the themed drinks and the atmosphere both upstairs in the main room as well as downstairs in the 'speakeasy' was on point. With folks dressed to the nines, everyone enjoyed the live music and dancing. Besides the live band, the photo booths, the bubble blowers, there was a couple on hand teaching folks how to "charleston", plus of course, drinks aplenty, so lots to do. For those looking for a more modern take on the dance floor, you could head downstairs to the Kevin Taylor at the Opera House restaurant, conveniently converted into a speakeasy for the evening. A DJ, dancing, some reserved seating, and more bars awaited you. There were photographers on hand to capture the festivities as well as a juggler and who traveled the floor to engage the crowd. Seating was tough to find at the event, unless you had a VIP ticket and could travel to the upstairs which overlooked the main party floor. Without a reserved table downstairs or a VIP ticket you were outta luck and on your feet for the evening, which is the only complaint here. The annual White Rose Gala is a fun New Years Eve experience and definitely one of the hottest tickets in Denver for the Holiday. read more

I have been to alot of Kevin Larson events and sad to say that last nights fetish ball sucked. All it was, was a costume party. No entertainment. One little 5 minute fire show. The past Fetish Balls have been awsome but this one was a bust. Mad my boyfriend and I spent so much on tickets and it was so lame. We even left before 2. Kevin Larson did an outstanding job creating a super fun and exciting New Years Eve party. The White Rose Gala has a well deserved reputation of being "the place to be" for New Year Eve. The Ellie Caulkins Opera house was truly transformed into a Roaring 20's playhouse. There was so much entertainment that the lack of seating went a bit unnoticed, but not quite. I do wish that there were a few more options to get off your feet without paying for it. My group, had no need for chairs. There we so many options to have a good time, we were anxious to check out every single thing we could. The outfits were definitely part of the fun. Everyone dresses with elegance and thoughtfulness. The guests were all very ready to have an amazing time. The main floor had a fancy feel. The dance floor was packed with ballroom dancers of all levels. Couples could be seen twirling around all night. upstairs, there we a few more bars but mostly lined VIP tables where guests could sit down and watch the show below! The "speakeasy" was true to form full of rowdy and less elegant fun. Kevin thought of everything. A few things to mention, if you want a spot to sit down, you really need to buy some VIP seats. Without that ticket status, you will be standing all night. The drinks are a bit expensive. Be prepared to pay at least $8 / drink. They did have some specially designed cocktails that were very yummy. read more

We were VIP guests of one of the sponsors and were so disappointed with the overall event. From the lack of VIP entry, the limited/unappealing drink choices at the cash(!) bar, the bartender who didn't know how to make a Moscow mule (he made a vodka soda), we would have been asking for a refund if we had paid for tickets. Our host was embarrassed that she invited us. We left early, which wasn't early enough. Needless to say, I won't be going again. read more

I have been to several of Kevin Larson's events, a few of them for multiple years in a row. I feel they are way over hyped and overpriced for what they are, but still a fun night of dress up if you've got the money to burn. My advice: don't spring for the VIP tix, and show up late. Things usually don't get going until after 10-10:30. read more

Every single event (Victorian Fetish Ball @ Diamond Cabaret, Paranormal Palace @ McNichols Event Center and White Rose Gala @ Ellie Caulkins) is clearly well thought out and planned out from tip to toe. From the locations to the lighting to the music to the performances! A few of the reviews listed were negative, and I am hard pressed to even THINK about saying anything negative. While everyone is entitiles to their opinion, I believe mine to be correct :) That being said, if you haven't been to any KLP events, I gently URGE you to jump on some tickets to any event and prepare to have a BLAST! I've been to Kevin Larson Presents events from the new years eve to halloween parties and I have to say if you want the biggest and best party in Denver thats where you want to be, every year it is an incredible time with the biggest gatherings, good music and not to mention great eye candy, The costumes have been great, dancers were fantastic and I loved the location, Looking forward to it this year and in the future, keep it up!! read more

I went to the White Rose Gala last year and had an absolutely fabulous time! It was a very classy event and professionally done. Great location! Just about everyone was dressed to the nines! The music was live! Great dancing! The bartenders were experienced! The decorations went far beyond the usual balloons-and-crepe-paper that I've seen at other NYE parties. I'm talking confetti cannons, white tablecloths, spotlights, smoke machines, etc. Don't even get me started on the speakeasy/VIP area. It was nice to be taken seriously, too. I'm 24, so sometimes I get subpar service on account of my age. Not so with KLP. I felt like a princess. This gala was the perfect way to start my year. My sister and I attended the 2018 White Rose Gala, expecting a 1920s bash full of period style music, fun costumes, multiple levels of activities. We purchased VIP tickets and paid for a table. What we got in return was pretty disappointing. They don't tell you that your table may be placed in a location without any kind of view, or a view blocked by a big black pole for example. Our table didn't have any kind of view and wasn't near any of the activities. The dance floor was pretty small and very crowded and we didn't want to be suffocated so we didn't dance. Plus they didn't really play any period-appropriate music which was really sad- I don't want to dress up in a flapper outfit and listen to 1980s music, I want to listen to jazz and lounge singing. We ordered a bottle of sparkling so we could toast the new year; the cheapest option was $40, but it was so sour it wasn't drinkable. Finally there was no view of the fireworks. All in all this event was made out to be a wonderful time, luxurious, fancy, a roaring party. Instead it was a huge disappointment- it seems they spent all of their money on marketing and advertising and had no money left to make the actual event anything special. read more

Worst Halloween Party ever. The location was awful. The party was held in a lobby. The side acts were a joke, the event was bright. You would think for a Halloween party it would be dark. The downstairs was a little darker, but same lobby-like feel. Compared to the previous parties I've attended of his, this didn't have the feel that big party feel. Way spread out. The only thing good was getting drinks, little to no wait. But what does that tell you about the attendance. read more

I attended Kevin Larson Presents Paranormal Palace 2014. I loved when they had there events in DTC as this is closer to our home. Overall the McNichols Building for this Halloween events was a great choice. This event is rather pricey but was a great event. They do need more bars on each level to drink the portion of your ticket that was allocated to that but overall it was a good time. They had dancers and fire throwers and it was great night. I think they should have made an announcement for the costume contest as we wanted to participate and got there in time as it was held at 10 but was not on the right floor. Would love to have seen that. Look forward to next years events and hoping the price could come down alil. It is definitely beneficial for those stand in the drink lines and use the all you can drink option to it's full potential. Look forward to what is to come. Wish the White Rose Gala was not so expensive and I would lock in our NYE plans. Overall tho, a great time and would encourage anyone to attend. read more
