I also called you the next day as I said I would as soon as I got up, not late in the day as you say.....I left you two voicemails and sent you two text messages stating I wanted you to do the work......you NEVER responded to any of them....how long does it take to return my call or respond to my texts?......and now you're trying to make it look like I was leading you on or something.....that's more than sad, it's a lie!!!!! One company quoted three times the estimate of the tree guys but admitted that the job was beyond their scope and referred me to The Tree guy. Long story short, after dealing with a lot of reputable and unrepeatable companies I landed on The Tree Guy. You will definitely pay for their equipment and expertise but it's a great balance of fairness and peace of mind. They are taking care of their employees and your property. First day of school (every year, with all 3 children), various girlfriends and boyfriends, proms, graduations, you name it. The tree has been a family member itself. It even took a lightning strike many years ago. This spring we noticed half of the leaves turning black. It broke our hearts but I had to get estimates to remove the tree. I had several companies come out and all were pretty close in price. Only one person offered up information about the black leaves. He said the tree wasn't dying and would rebound. He said it's a shame to loose the shade and memories. He offered to quote a price to cut back the tree remove dead branches and put flexible cables to secure the large branches allowing us to save our tree. The crew arrived and went right to work. A pop up thunderstorm ended the day short. They stayed at it longer than they should have. There was high winds, heavy rain and lightning. They return a few days later and finished the job. The tree looks much better now and will continue to provide shade and memories.

He ground up surface roots from 40+ year old trees, removed gravel and sod from a large area where people used to park beside the road. He then brought in soil to fill in the areas and planted grass seed. He planted some shrubs then mulched the entire area. He moved some very large boulders. He worked very hard and I am pleased.
