At 60 and extremely active, I was contemplating my life span and seeking a partner to guide me through the next phase to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I've put my body through the wringer over the years via extensive exercise without ever considering supplementing my health goals via integrative medicine. Today, I can follow guided trials of both traditional and homeopathic medicine, tracking my progress through timely labs using the facility team to walk me through the results and adjusting my supplements, nutrition, and medications that are specific to me. The team led by Trevor Hopper, a nurse practitioner, spends an incredible amount of time with me on each visit, which is weekly now. The facility and Trevor are now my Primary Care group managing my healthcare from head to toe. I am epileptic, so I must trust a provider that considers my specific needs. I take advantage of the IV therapy weekly, along with many other services like vitamin D injections and weight loss services. Just about all the services are covered by my insurance, even the IV therapy, which is unique in the industry which is normally extremely expensive. Happy Wellness is truly a little gem with a fun, super cool environment for Dripping Springs and has several other locations in Austin and surrounding areas. A buddy suggested that I go to an IV hydration clinic instead. The obgyn nurse said an IV hydration clinic would probably be cheaper than paying ten percent at an ER. My husband found Smooth Aesthetics. Smooth Aesthetics is owned by nurse Oscar and his physician wife Dr. Leyva. Oscar was able to see me within two hours at their Round Rock location. I paid $200 for two saline bags plus Zofran. Zofran is an anti-nausea medication, which Oscar thought might help with the other end, but it didn't. Nonetheless, I didn't feel like dying from dehydration anymore, and the baby was safe. For an additional $25, Oscar will travel to your house if you're unable to get a ride. If you only need one bag of saline, it's $150. It's much cheaper than going to an ER. He also administers generic semaglutinide for $300/ month. He showed me before and after pictures of his personal weight loss of forty pounds, and he looks amazing. I would be interested in a NAD IV in the future as it's all the celebrity rage right now for anti aging.
