I recently had two wisdom teeth removed and an implant placed by Dr. Ratliff at OMSA. From the moment I walked in, the staff's attentiveness and kindness stood out. Team members came into the waiting room offering coffee and tea to my husband and other drivers--such a thoughtful touch. When it was time for discharge, they invited my husband back to thoroughly walk him through the post-op instructions so we felt fully informed and supported. What truly impressed me was their follow-up. I received calls and texts to check in on my recovery. When I experienced significant pain, they brought me back in immediately--no delay, no hassle--and I was able to speak with Dr. Ratliff directly. That level of responsiveness is rare. As a Human Resources Director overseeing more than 100 ambulatory surgery centers across the country, I spend a lot of time in and out of facilities. I've already told my teams: they could take a lesson from OMSA. This was truly patient-centered care at its best.

I had a painful dead tooth, that was killing me on our vacation. It eventually became unbearable and was referred to Dr. Ratliff, by another local endodontist. Of course you're nervous to have your tooth extracted, but my wife and I could see the degree of professionalism that existed from checking in, to discharge from my oral surgery. They always kept her informed before and after surgery. I cannot say enough good things about my first experience with 3 tooth extractions.

I've had a consultation and double procedure at this office. Every person I encountered on staff…read morewere incredibly kind and thorough. They were very attentive and interested in answering any inquiry I had, as was Dr. Hehr. I was even called by the receptionist with an offer for an earlier appointment when a patient rescheduled. During the consultation, Dr. Hehr was perceptive to my anxiety due to past traumatic experiences with dental procedures. His personality is of genuine compassion, empathy, interest, and professionalism. Those qualities are a game changer and certainly put me at ease. Full disclosure of procedure, treatment plan, estimates and scheduling further alleviated my anxiety. This office is gorgeous and features top of the line technology, yet the feeling is quality in service instead of the usual uneasiness when a practice seems to be motivated by money. The charges were far less than I expected. The day of the procedure, I was quickly prepared, surrounded by smiling faces, and almost no waiting time. Dr. Hehr spoke with me and made himself available until I went under. I actually felt confident that it would go well, and it did. Two days later, I'm healing quickly and have taken away nothing but good from the experience, aside from the expected discomfort from the actual procedure. I recommend this practice to any and everyone who has ever had a bad experience with past dental providers, as well as those who have had all good experiences. Kindness is rare in the medical field and certainly unexpected in the dental field. I'm grateful to Dr. Hehr and the entire staff for providing the best experience possible to me. I'm certain you'll take away the same feeling.

If you think that the payment that you made is the complete payment, beware, you could get a bill, as I did, as long as one year later looking for another payment because what you signed was just an "estimate" and that you would be responsible for any additional charges like another 15 minutes of sedation. So, just as a heads up, read the fine print.
