For some background, I had 2 back surgeries in 2012 and after the second one I was much better…read more Then I started having issues in 2021 or 2022. My treatment plan was an injection in the right L5, S1 (same area as my previous surgery). Unfortunately, I didn't get any relief. By 2023, my pain was bad and affected my right side as well as my left side L5. The pain was on and off 20x a day at a pain level of 5-8 on a scale of 0-10. I saw the nurse/ PA and he suggested getting an MRI and physical therapy. Therapy wasn't helping and MRI showed no main issues but scar tissue, arthritis and degenerative disk. After doing a test to see if I could have an ablation, Dr. determined I wasn't a candidate. I repeatedly asked the nurse practitioner or the Dr. nurse for cortisone shot but was turned down as it didn't work the last time. During this exam, it didn't hurt in the areas it needed to be but I told him typically it does hurt in those areas. It would get triggered if I stand for a few minutes, sit in a chair for a few minutes or bend picking things up etc. It was still a no go on injections. After having a meeting with the doctor in December, he recommended a prescription. After doing research on the drug, I was pretty nervous of the side effects. So, I decided to get a second opinion. The New Dr. reviewed my records and MRI and suggested a cortisone injection would be something that could help and suggested two shots one on each side. I got the shots and within a few days I feel 80% better. I hope it lasts and time will tell. Overall, neuroscience was professional but wished the PA and Doctor at neuroscience, would have listened to me and considered the injection.

The information was provided prior to the neurological evaluation, it was clear that APNP Kristine Twomey did not review the provided information which may or may not be a part of the confusion and memory loss of the patient. Again cookie cutter. Will not be returning, seeking a more informed 2nd opinion.

Dr Miller was super condescending and dismissive and also insinuatEd that it was "all in his head". SHAMEFUL!! No empathy or compassion. Knee replacement is super painful ..,give me a break! Last week my husband went to Froedtert Hospital in Menominee Falls to have Dr Miller's miserable replacement REPLACED! So far everything is so much better.Great experience all around. Please do not waste your time and money with OSMS! We would never recommend OSMS to our worst enemy.

I have suffered for months and months with great difficulty walking. I do have a long story, but to simplify, in a matter of about 2 weeks I had a diagnosis and amazing treatment, bedside manner, and true empathy I am well on my way to recovery. 3 weeks ago Dr. Leschke did back surgery on me and was so successful. He made an emergent surgery change my life. He has given me back independence and my family. He is talented and definitely has skills that make differences in peoples lives. I could go on and on so I will stop with "Thank you" OSMS. Dr.Leschke will always be my Superhero that God brought to me to continue a healthy happy life!
