If there was an award for "Most Unreliable Florist" then Kevin's Florist would win hands down. Like many other reviewers here, I ordered flowers for a dear friend's departed mother's funeral. Kevin's Florist accepted the order, charged my credit card and they were NEVER delivered. To add insult to injury, they chose to send me a cancellation email IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ACTUAL FUNERAL SERVICE, stating that they were "closed." Considering that the order was made (processed and charged) 30 hours earlier, it would have been nice to have received some sort of text, at the very least, that morning so that I could have run somewhere and picked up flowers myself to bring to the funeral. Even worse, my mother ordered flowers in person at their shop for this same funeral DAYS earlier. Kevin's Florist took her money, and her flowers also never arrived. They will not answer the phone or email... I even went to their shop personally to try and sort things out and, while 3 cars were in the parking lot, no one answered the door. This is the THIRD time over a handful of years that Kevin's Florist has either taken my money and never delivered my order OR canceled the order at the last minute. Bad on me for giving them another chance - they literally are a few doors down from the funeral home where the flowers needed to go, so I thought surely they would do their job this time. Obviously, I have learned my lesson and I will NEVER use this florist again. It's also heartbreaking to read some of the other reviews here... people whose flowers for their parents caskets were never delivered and the headache/ hassle they had to deal with while grieving their loved one. Kevin's Florist should be ashamed of themselves. Currently, I am having to dispute the credit card charge for my canceled flower order that Kevin's Florist apparently didn't actual reverse/ refund payment for. Kevin's Florist is UNTRUSTWORTHY and I would caution customers to enlist the services of another Robertson County area florist so they can rest assured that their order will actually arrive. read more

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COMPANY OF ANY TYPE HAVE THE 1 STAR REVIEWS MAXED OUT AND STILL REMAIN IN BUSINESS. Yelp seems to have all the 1 Star reviews that Kevin's site is omitting. I would be very skeptical of any 5 star reviews after reading all these horror stories. After several failed attempts to reach someone by phone, we ordered flowers on line 2 days before the funeral of my sweet aunt, paid, received a confirmation and arrived on the day of funeral to discover the flowers were not delivered. My wife called Kevin's to see what happened and the receptionist stated that they just saw the order on the morning of the burial and thought we would not want to send them so they decided to cancel the order. If I could give a zero stars that's what I would do. I ordered flowers for a funeral the day before online and paid online. I received confirmation that my order went through. I included the hours of the visitation and time for the funeral along with my phone number so that if there were any issues they could have called. Nothing. I get to the funeral home and no flowers. I left and went by Kevin's flower shop because I tried calling and no answer. Kevin wasn't at the shop and the lady at the desk seemed totally oblivious to having and order even though she said that she was the one who processed the orders. She said that Kevin was out for a drs appointment and just didn't get it done. No communication - nothing. Horrible customer service read more

I definitely update my review. Over the years, Kevin's has definitely went way down. He no longer cares about his customers. You can no longer count on him to deliver your flowers, for them to get their on time (weeks late sometimes) or EVER. Sometimes he NEVER shows for weddings NOR FUNERALS and this is appalling. I will never use him EVER AGAIN when he did not show for my aunt's funeral and he was supposed to do her flowers for her casket. It is now a pitiful florist and I would not recommend to anyone. I have heard this same complaint multiple times. I don't want to even give him one star. read more

The - WORST! Saturday 2/27 before the close of Kevin's business day I submitted an order online for delivery Monday 3/01, my wife's birthday. I tried calling Monday to pinpoint delivery because of a change of circumstance and the connection would cut off immediately as it started to ring. The short of the long, my wife did not recieve the floral arrangement on her birthday yesterday. Thanks ever so much, KEVIN! I paid thru PayPal which, of course, debits my bank account immediately. Today I submitted a request for refund. I also stopped by Kevin's. They said their phones got knocked out by lightning Friday night and whoever provides their phone and internet service has yet to reconnect them, 4 days later! I think if I were running my own business I would have a better provider. Secondly, an act of God? Sure, I'd buy that but this is today. They should have a contingency plan in place that in the event they lose power, phone, and/or internet they could at least conduct business utilizing their mobile phone. Problem solved. My wife's birthday this year was one I really needed to have those flowers there the day of and Kevin's "F'd" me! There's no making this up. Ordered an arrangement to be delivered 4/30/21. My client never received the item. Called Kevin's the next day and they promised it would be delivered that day. It is now 5/14/21 and still no flowers, no refund and no answer to any communication about either. I would not recommend this place as it stole my $68 and never returned it. I have escalated this with PayPal hopefully they can get them to do what's right. read more

If I could give no stars I would . They came highly recommend and I'm extremely disappointed!!!! After several calls trying to pin point a delivery as it was originally to be delivered on FRIDAY then call to find out no will do Saturday instead. Ok that's fine that's when anniversary date was. No deliver no delivery, call at 4pm they say it's in truck to be delivered. HELL NO NEVER delivered!!! Now waiting for 2 hrs for a call back after I got a hold of them when the phone was finally answered 45 min after opening time . DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST! I ordered an arrangement online Friday 8/21 to be delivered on Saturday 8/22. Contacted the recipient Sunday to find out no arrangement had been delivered. Monday I called the florist for 2 hours with a busy tone the entire time. I drove to the florists location there were 3 cars in the lot. I went to the entrance and knocked on and off waited for 4-5 minutes, no answer. I went to the back door and did the same, no answer. Last resort was to email. I received a return email on Monday saying they were closed for cleaning. So apparently when they close during normal business hours they do not post any signs and cut their phone off. I called on Wednesday to ask about the order. I spoke with Dorthy who was rude and hateful. When I inquired about the order she quickly raised her voice to say "the person wasn't there when it was delivered!" I then asked "do you guys not call to let the person that placed the order know they could not be delivered?" She completely ignored my question. She said snappy "you want us to redeliver today?" I said "yes that would be great. Will the flowers be fresh!" Hatefully she replied "well yes!" The recipient was home all day on Saturday, they also had the recipients phone number and never called. This is my first time dealing with them and will definitely be the last. The recipient didn't even receive the arrangement that I ordered online! This place will eventually put themselves out of business if they think this is how it should be conducted. read more

My parents live out of town and for Mother's Day I tried to order flowers and have them delivered on Monday as they wouldn't be home until then. I paid and everything for shipping and such. The guy can't even pick up the phone. They never got the flowers. I called and called. Finally i called my dad and asked him to go stop in. There was multiple people down there trying to find the guy as they had the same situation. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HERE - you will loose your money. Also. Friend called to complain, Kevin's said they would for sure deliver Tuesday...... nope, no delivery. If you want flowers delivered you better go somewhere else. You will get charged, but no flowers will be delivered. They won't answer their phone and you can't leave a message. Email won't work either and they aren't open when they say they are so how are you supposed to get your money back? Good question! read more

I went here in person Saturday 1/30 to choose a couple things for my aunt and cousin. We lost my uncle a few days ago. I should have known better once I walked in the door as it was the biggest mess of a florist shop I've ever seen in my life. You could barely even walk around in there to look at anything. It looked as if they had just moved into the building. However, I know that they moved to this location over a year ago. I chose a windchime and a lantern. Kevin himself helped me and I went over the date for delivery 3 times and watched him write it down. He assured me these items would get delivered to the funeral home by 4pm Monday 2/1 when my uncle's visitation began. I arrived to the funeral home around 5pm and discovered they had not been delivered. I attempted to call but they closed at 5 and I had no luck. I started calling at 8:30am on the dot this morning when they opened to question the delivery. I called numerous times over the next two hours and no one answered the phone. I planned to stop by there on my way to the funeral home at 10 but ended up not doing that when someone finally answered as I was driving to town. The lady who works in there told me she had no idea why they weren't delivered because she didn't work yesterday. I told her I needed them at the funeral home now and that the funeral started soon. She then asked me if I wanted to cancel the order and I said no I need the order to get delivered like it should have been. I arrived to the funeral home and still no delivery. I called multiple times. No answer. At 10:55, she finally answered the phone and told me that he was walking out the door now. The funeral home was right down the street so I figured it should arrive within 10 minutes. At 11:30, Kevin finally showed up. I was waiting outside and questioned why this was not delivered yesterday as promised. He never apologized. Never admitted to being in the wrong. Just said "I thought it was today". I explained to him that I would never do business there again and he just said "okay". After he had already left, I realized the lantern I had chosen Saturday was not even the one he brought. I specifically chose a certain one with a poem on it. Just a plain lantern was delivered. I know this place has been around here for many years and I have no idea why. How dare you provide such a horrific experience to people who are purchasing things from you due to a family death. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Terrible, terrible place. read more
