I went into the store today, and I forgot to put on my mask but I had it in my pocket. I walked…read morearound the store and was about to pay. The lady behind the counter asked me do you have a mask. But right next to her was a man with no mask. I said, no but neither does he. And she looked at him and then told me, well you need a mask. I said, are you going to tell him that. She just stared at me and I stared at her. So I put my stuff down and went to get my mom. As we left, she was telling him how I said no and he doesn't. And they chuckled. So I said, what's so funny the white worker just told the Mexican girl to wear a mask and not the white guy who also is not wearing a mask. I will never go back.

We had our coffee in hand and our boys had a bag of crackers. We walked in the door just after another family and there were 3 employees I'm assuming, that were standing around the front counter. The lady behind the counter immediately told us that we could not have our food/drinks in their store. I have never gone to an antique store where food and drinks were unacceptable to walk around with. but ok. I DID find it discriminating because my family is biracial and the family that walked in the store just before us was Caucasian and had a daughter with a juice box and a snack in a Ziploc bag. wth? Needless to say, we didn't feel welcome upon entering and so we left. No business for them. We found great treasures at the Goodwill down the road. ;)
