Anyway, this afternoon, we entered the shop and my (adult) daughter who is autistic put down her backpack on the table as she always does and we shopped around. After about 30 minutes she decided she wants to leave. She picks up her backpack from the table and then realized she cannot find me. She gets frustrated and starts looking around. A young man in the front then told her to put the backpack down, she said no, and then he said 'then leave the store'. She said she couldn't and started to walk back to find me. He then said if she didn't leave he would call the cops on her. By now, I have heard the commotion and came to the front. I told her to get 'her' backpack which she had set back down on the table and we would leave. I apologized to the other two workers at the front and we left. After thinkiing about the interaction which was totally uncalled for, I also should have told them that we will never be back because that's no way to treat a customer!!

There are SO many vendor booths and there is something for everyone - kitchenware, MCM, farmhouse, model cars, sewing crafts, glassware, books... you name it. Most of the booths have a very specific curated vibe or theme, so it helps you narrow down where you want to browse. I always seem to have luck with vinyl records, which is usually slim pickings at other antique shops I've been to. Each vendor dictates their prices. Most things were very reasonable, though some things were more than I'd personally pay - but value is in the eye of the beholder, anyway. The staff here is so welcoming and helpful, and you can tell that they love what they do. Definitely check them out!
