The store offers a combination of local artist creations, antiques and replica merchandise. Their main focus is smaller decorative items, but they do offer shabby chic type furniture as well. I wish we could have spent more time in there, as I know we could have dropped more cash. We did manage to leave with a few beautiful antique glassware items that will look great in our bungalow home. Plus, they will remind us our our trip; a win/win. Their prices were reasonable, especially for the replica merchandise. I did think some of their antiques were certainly priced on the high end and since I wasn't really finding myself in a position where I couldn't leave without something, I didn't test their willingness to negotiate. Downtown Sumner offers a number of small antique and cottage stores. We need to find a way to ditch the rug rats and get lost in the stores. Something to look forward to next time...

Last summer I was in Portland and found a few stores like this, however, the merchants appeared to be outside of their minds as they were all charging $20 for $5 worth of merchandise. Sometimes it's clear what you are selling isn't rare, isn't collectable and you just bought it at Goodwill or a garage sale in hopes of tripling your money. Most of what I saw here was priced accordingly. There was an item or two that had a vintage look that wasn't vintage which could have been less, but no matter where you go, someone is trying to pull the wool over your eyes. This place is entirely out of the way, but I did discover a great taco spot across the street, so when the weather changes, it's possible I'll make a day out of hiking, shopping and tacos. Kudos to this shop owner. It's easy for a place like this to charge lunatic prices and offend shoppers, but the reasonable nature of this store is clearly the key to its high ratings and strong business flow.

They have a large and diverse collection of true antiques. Prices were wonderful. I purchased one of the three adorable pie dishes available (just like my grandma had!) and got it at a very low price. The woman at the shop was so incredibly sweet. This store is definitely the definition of unique and quirky for South Tacoma Way as they have a wide range of unique and intriguing merchandise. When we came back from our trip to Alaska I was looking through my receipts when I spotted my receipt from this store. I gave the sales lady $ 100 in cash and charged the final $34.17. My contactless recipient showed the total was charged all on my credit card. When I called to enquire I was very disappointed how rude Joanne was, I tried to explain what happened and she said"Just cut to the story.". She said well that's the way that shows up we don't have any way to separate it on the receipt. I told her I would enquire on my credit card so reluctantly looked it up. I thanked her and because although she was off putting and sharp with her tongue most of us have worked in retail at some time. I suggest that in the future they would mention this to the customers splitting there payment up. She stated that no one had ever questioned that. Post customer service was Horrible. Such a totally different vibe from purchase. I suspect Joanne may be an owner and I wonder how many other customers she has been rude to. Very disappointed with this post sale inquiry. I will definitely check my credit card statement. Very disappointed for her lack of customer service.
