He responded with, "What you need is Carroll Buffum." After learning how to find Carroll and getting my vehicle to him I was astounded by his wisdom, fairness and price. I drove away happily and have not been to a different mechanic since. Carroll is calling it quits in a few months and has sold his business after 44 years of dedicated help to his community. I dropped my 2000 Ranger off today with a blown engine. Likely installing a new rebuilt for me will be one of Carrolls last jobs. Total incompetence when repairing drivers window not functioning they spent three hours with there…read morecomputer trying to diagnose a 2002 window problem put the car on the lift could not figure out why they were looking for other problems that did not exist told me the front end neaded work. Nobody asked them to check my front end I had just had my entire front suspension rebuild in the end they had no idea what was wrong with my drivers window but when I left passenger window also stoped working from screwing around for hours trying to trouble shoot a 25 yr old car window problem bottom with a computer instead of taking door card apart they wasted 3 hr embellishment of a unnecessary repair and taking out drivers window computer that also operates passenger side with the scan tool. I personally replaced drivers side ecu and trouble shot the drivers window tap drivers window motor with a screw driver motor stated to work ecu brought back to life passenger window problem solved totally incompetent to do anything but change parts of diagnosing the simplest problems without ther scan tool They are part changers not mechanics beware when bringing your car there for service ps I do not and never had repaired cars in my life this was the most basic problem compounded by incompetence

I dropped it off at 8:30am and walked to work, they didn't even take a look at it until well after 1:00pm. The receptionist Star was incredibly unprofessional. Said she "hoped" to call me back late in the afternoon as my car was "up next" both times I called to check in. They told me I had an oil leak in the head gasket, which given the state and age of my car I do not doubt, unfortunately both herself and someone named Charlotte(?) lack any sort of couth or professionalism. When I arrived to inquire about my car she was on the phone with someone who she put on speaker to explain my diagnosis even though this person had not seen my car. Star (incorrectly) guessed the year and model of my car and said "I THINK it's leaking from the head gasket??". I hesitantly explained my situation for a second time, to which the woman on the phone answered "Don't bother having anyone come out and talk to her. If that's where the leak is, tick, tick, boom" when I asked if and how I could safely drive it home to Pennsylvania to obtain another car from my family. I would not recommend anyone go here, for anything, ever, at all. They also asked if I would like my battery replaced for "a couple hundred dollars, maybe??" AFTER telling me to junk it and that's it's not worth it to repair. I'm sorry, HUN, but find another repair shop, quickly.
