The car wash itself is probably one of the best in the state. I only have a couple issues with the operation of the tunnel. Which aren't even a factor of turning me away. One is the brushes. Don't always get to the center of the vehicle even if it's narrow. And I wish the undercarriage had more pressure. You feel the detail of what this car wash does is amazing. And they will run you through if the center doesn't get cleaned. The undercarriage wash tends to leave a lot of sand behind. Maybe more pressure or maybe more nozzles to spray the unbidding title now. But either way, don't let that deter you.I will travel 30 miles just to use this car wash. As I am in Middlebury, Vermont. And like I said I love this car was i strongly suggest the more expensive $20 packand you will absolutely love how your car looks after it's all.Does an excellent job at detailing your tired there is not enough good that I can say about this place.Try it for yourself and do inspect your car after you get out of the tunnel and out of the way read more

I went to Alderman's dealership to get my winter tires turned over and a general service. I consistently use their service because not only are they professional they charge a VERY fair price compared to the other service centers in the area. The don't gouge on SERVICE or SALES- super fair. Alderman's is a family-owned dealer who will treat you like a fellow human being. They prioritize your experience, and were a joy to work with. They were able to give me full out the door pricing on the phone, and didn't have me wait on a "list" of some kind -- they confirmed on-the-lot inventory. Everyone was lovely to work with from Kate Alderman who took my initial call, and Ethan Colm who made sure the buying process was smooth, and the finance department too, who didn't strong-arm me into any extra add-ons. Ethan, specifically, was patient and kind, going above and beyond to make my pickup and final purchase agreement go smoothly. Shout out as well to the detailing team who delivered the car perfectly clean and ready to go when I arrived. I scheduled an oil and filter change here and arranged for a shuttle ride to and from work. Other Toyota dealerships, like White River Toyota in White River Junction, VT, offer this same service but Alderman's just seemed more personable and friendly. The driver was punctual and more than willing to change my pickup time when I got out of work early. The technicians who worked there were good about explaining exactly what was done and each of the other charges on my receipt. Alderman's also offers a free carwash, which is nice. Overall I feel I was treated well at Alderman's Toyota and will definitely consider using them for my service needs in the future. read more

I had previously reviewed this car wash with 5 stars. Now, despite having raised the cost, they have opted to not have workers prewash the vehicle before entering the auto wash. They still have workers standing by to fold your mirrors, but they no longer take the step to ensure a superior wash. So sad that we have yet another example of paying more for less... read more

Pretty much the worst time I've ever had shopping & buying a car, ever. My wife and I are in our early 30s, educated, no kids. I went to this dealership because their selection is HUGE, and their product is awesome. After months of searching I wanted to purchase a Toyota, and more-or-less knew the car I wanted to buy, but we went there with intent to get more information, and made it clear that we did not want to stay here and buy a car, but test drive Honda's and Chevy's as well. The sales person we met didn't want us to get behind the wheel for a test drive though, no, he wanted us to tour the facility and see all of their bs awards (they own the company that gives those awards). After a good 30 minutes of wasting our time, they finally got us behind the wheel. He went with us on the test drive, and couldn't answer one single question about the vehicle. He had to keep guessing and assuming things. When we got back to the dealership, he had us sit down, even though we wanted to leave. He left somewhere and came back with paperwork, and asked us if we thought the price on the sheet would be a good price to buy the car at. I replied "yeah maybe I don't know", and told him that I wanted to leave. He said that if I could initial the paperwork, I could be on my way. I picked up a pen and asked why I had to initial it, he told me to "save the price of the car". I looked at my wife and said "what do you mean save?" He replied "well, you know, to buy the car", which he said nervously with a laugh. I just about flipped out on the inside, but kept my cool on the outside. I put the pen down, and we got up and started storming out. I was about 20 feet from the door but here comes the queen herself, Stacy Alderman, who STOOD IN OUR WAY, and asked why we were leaving. I told her I wanted to test drive other cars, yet I was just asked to agree to a price to buy a car under-handedly. She didn't even apologize, she said she was "doing us a favor so that you don't need to drive anywhere else". You gotta be kidding me. I had to go out of my way to get around her to leave. Terrible. It turns out that after all the test driving, I decided that I loved the Toyota the most. So I bought it........ at Bennington Toyota. Suck it, Stacy. The above story happened in 2010. The below happened recently: To give Alderman's a fair shake, we actually went back. The 2nd time around we actually met a really nice guy who was in the sales business for decades. He answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable, not pushy at all. Looks like things had changed. We thanked him and left his desk, very impressed. BUT HERE COMES STACY AGAIN! Getting in our way and asking why we were leaving. MOVE DAMNIT! YOU ARE SO ANNOYING! We test drive first, talk about the cars later, the buy the next day. We said this LAST time. This time, I made a scene. I told her that THIS was the reason I didn't buy from her last year, even pointing to the car I drove on the lot saying that I bought that car from a different dealer. To my amazement, she didn't let up! She takes out her little trade-in book and proceeds to try to sell us a car. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? We left. Never going back. Really disappointed in this company. They promised my significant other a loaner for the day, and upon arrival, did NOT have a loaner, had no idea what he was there for, or what time his appointment was despite multiple phone calls ahead of time. They offered no solution, forcing him to miss a day of work while he had to wait for his vehicle. They also failed to order a replacement part he specifically asked for on the phone. They then failed AGAIN to order the replacement part after they were able to look at the vehicle in person, forcing him to return for the THIRD TIME for a part that should have been ordered the first time. Their excuse was that they "didn't know" what was broken, despite being told twice. I will also mention that this is a part that has been recalled, so it is astounding to me they did not have one single spare already in stock for one of the most popular models of vehicle. Upon arrival to pick the vehicle up after the second appt., the drivers side window was rolled all the way down with the vehicle parked unattended in a high traffic area, so that anyone could have walked by and stolen belongings from inside the vehicle. These folks sure are full of excuses and zero accountability for constant and repeated errors. I rarely write bad reviews, but wow. read more

I leased a car end of August 2016 in the evening. Sales reps didn't go over everything with me. We negotiated on price, not features of the car. I had to speak to management about that. in the end they took care of that part. I went on vacation in August, was robbed while on the beach, my car keys were in the bag that was stolen. I called Alderman's to see how they could help me, only to talk to a very rude unhelpful man in service!! I call Toyota Care to get my car towed. We spent a lot of time on the phone with them, come to find out my Toyota Care ran out literally the day before, the day before we got robbed. That doesn't seem right at all, my lease is a 3 year lease. I also picked my car up in the evening so one would think they would have extended it out a day (I got maybe 5 hours of Toyota Care). With that being said my tow wasn't covered by Toyota Care. I had to pay out of pocket for this tow. None of this was my fault. Alderman's should have explained that I wasn't getting a full day of Toyota Care, they didn't. Nor was I aware that the Toyota Care was for 2 years, not the full 3 years of my lease. Things weren't explained well during this lease. Considering the circumstances you would think Alderman's would want to do the right thing and help, since it was their error on the Toyota Care. I feel I was shorted by 1 day on the Toyota Care. Do yourself a favor find a better reputable company to do business with. Alderman's only cares about lining their pockets!! Oh yea my 2 year old Rav 4 is starting to rust!!! Also when it was super cold out last winter, my 1 year old car at that time wouldn't start, battery cells were bad on it. Took them all day to work on it. They give car sales man a whole new meaning of sleezy. Next time I'm in the market to lease or buy a car, I won't use Alderman's!!! overpriced and under deliver!!! read more

We will only buy our vehicles from Neil at Alderman's. Last weekend we purchased our 6th vehicle from him and as always the experience was excellent. Our young daughter has gone with us the last 3 times and everyone there is so friendly to her and helps keep her occupied while we do the paperwork and they also include her when they can with the experience. We always get a great deal and Neil never rushes or pushes us. This last time I wasn't sure what I wanted to do for a new vehicle and we had a budget to work within. He ended up pricing 3 different vehicles out for us and never pressured us to chose one over the other. We'll definitely will be back! read more

Ok, so I bought my Toyota Scion XB from Alderman back in 2006. The buying experience was terrific. I then sent my husband in who bought a Toyota Tacoma. I then sent my parents in who bought a Toyota Highlander. I purchased the additional warranty for what I was told would be an extra 6 years. So, I figured I was covered for at least 9 years. After about just under 6 years (thereabout), of course the car starts having trouble. I called the Service Department and ASKED THEM HOW MUCH TIME I HAD LEFT ON MY WARRANTY. I was told that my warranty was up in September. Ok, so I made an appointment prior to my warranty being up. I went in and told them all that was wrong with the car. After waiting about an hour and 45 minutes, a guy came out to tell me that my warranty had actually run out a few days ago and that the repairs were necessary and would cost about $1,200. I was in shock. I explained what I was told on the phone, but they refused to help at all. I took my car back and went to my husbands mechanic. He fixed me up beautifully about $375 later. Everything fixed, everything working. Needless to say, my sister needed a car and she went elsewhere. We will never buy another car at Alderman nor should anyone ever use their service department. They are deceptive, ridiculously expensive and out to only fleece its loyal customers. read more

I'm so tired of hearing the radio commercials about how Alderman's "cares" so much about their customers! They only care till the paperwork is signed, then they don't want to know you after that. I had to cosign on a leased car, I will never ever deal with them again. I also almost bought a Buick at Alderman's. The salesman their almost wouldn't let me out with agreeing to buy a car!
