Finished, I go to the bathroom and leave $10 on her table and come out and she has the money there. I told her thats hers and she said, "no, i need more." She claimed that a 90min massage is a $20 tip. I was dumbfounded! I reminded her I wanted more pressure and she didn't do anything. And she whined "i need more." I turned around and walked out. 2 stars for the ambiance and the table warmer.

I made the appointment and showed up at the other place which was down the street. I had been looking forward to the massage for over a month as I have a severely stressful job. Once at the offices, I was greeted by a rather large dog in a much to small room. The lady behind the front desk notified me that the massage was donated by a previous employee and was not willing to keep the appointment as it was for a specific therapist who no longer worked for the company. Frustrated, disappointed and in desperate need of a massage, the lady at the front desk gave me the number to Kitsap Therapeutic Massage. I walked out of the office humiliated and overwhelmed with stress and in tears. I went back to my car and called the new number knowing I there was no way to schedule a massage before my morning flight. The owner was willing to take me right then and there! She stated to come right over and she would make sure I was taken care of. She was very calming, and reassured me that I had come to the right place. After driving to the office, I walked in and was greeted by a very tranquil environment. The scent was lavender infused, the colors were serene, and the music was soothing; my stress began to immediately melt away. After filling out some medical paperwork, the owner whisked me off to a deep purple room that was purely magical with a heated table, a small changing area, and truly blissful smells and sounds. This was a room I wish I could have in my home back in Monterey. The owner was amazing and gave the most amazing one hour massage which was far more divine than my previous massage I received at the Ritz Carlton Spa. I would highly recommend this place to any one who is in desperate need of relaxation or would just love a fantastic massage. I plan on returning every time I am in the area. Okay, so I'm now "old" and the body has more aches and pains these days. After enduring years of…read moreaches and pains, with little relief, I decided to see Jenny Wickersham of Kitsap Therapeutic Massage. She is a Licensed Massage Practitioner and came highly recommended by two of her other patients. My wife came along and asked questions about what could be done at home, what exercises would help, hot vs cold, etc. Jenny used layman language to inform her about the care and feeding of the elderly. Though my chief complaint was about feet issues, she started at my low back and found issues there that effected my lower extremities. Gradually, and with minimal discomfort, muscles were massages back to a much more efficient working order. More mobility, less discomfort, and for a very fair price. When Jenny was about to leave the room, I asked if she could work my wife into a quick session. So glad that she was able to fit her in, and my wife was very grateful after decades of enduring my less than stellar attempts at massaging her back.
