It features the White Street Pier, the African-American Cemetery and an AIDS Memorial. It's a great area for watching sunsets and just taking in the beautiful scenery of this gorgeous place. Free parking can be found within the area or you can walk there like we did. The pier offers fishing and plenty of space to hang out. We always come here when we visit as it's close to where our friends live.

We stayed in a cottage.: The Isla Bella. Everything was very clean and the place looked awesome! It had a living room, kitchen, dining room,2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a pull out sleeper sofa. We had our own hot tub. The master bedroom door opened to our own beautifully landscaped oasis. There was a gate close by to access the pool. I met the owner a couple of days later. He showed me how they use the barrels to collect the water and the hotel is very "green". We did not use the pool area but it looked great. It is about 2 blocks from Duval and on the Southernmost point. It makes getting to the center of Duval a little bit of a walk but we walked it the first day, took the pedi cabs on other days, rented an electric little buggy (SO much fun!) another or just a good ole 12.00 cab ride. It worked out. It's on the quiet side of town I would say. We were probably the loudest ones there! The cottage itself was very private. I never saw any of the other guests while there. The water is quite shallow and you can actually walk down a couple of feets. However, by the evening, the high tide takes over and the water level rises. A very good place to sit back, relax and enjoy the ocean. It is just one block away from the Southernmost point. However, it is not as crowded as the Southernmost point. There is a cafe nearby - Southernmost Beach Cafe - where you can have drinks and food. There are many more restaurants just one street away and if you are looking for fine dining, there is a Japanese restaurant Ambrosia, which we tried, and is really good.

We did have one issue with one of the puzzles in the room, but our game masters recognized the problem quickly and gave us the information we needed to move past it and eventually complete the game. Without giving away any puzzles, I would just provide a warning that this specific game requires a somewhat higher level of physical ability, so people who are not comfortable with that may want to try one of the other rooms. For experienced escape room players this may not be a full 9/10, but it was a very fun challenge and I had a great time with my group. If you're in Key West and want to do something fun (and are sober), give Key West Room Escape a try!

MARVIN KEY Longitude: -81.6445331 Latitude: 24.7115303 If you're wondering where all the locals disappear to on weekends, chances are if they know someone with a motor boat, they are at Marvin Key. This is a popular locals island and sandbar in the outback area off the lower Florida Keys. The only way to get here is by boat. Having had the opportunity to go here a few times already, it is absolute paradise. The sandbars are quite large around the island for walking, kayaking or just wading in the water with your beach chair and a beverage. You can also stroll along the shore with picture opportunities at every turn. Make sure you pack plenty of water, sunscreen, your noodles and even an umbrella if you plan on spending the day. It is not uncommon for waders to visit from boat to boat, so you just may meet some new friends along the way. The age range for visitors at Marvin Key is around 35 and up. The 35 and younger single crowd tend to migrate to Snipes Key which is in the general vicinity. Just like many of the other outback islands and sandbars around the Keys, knowing the area and navigation is crucial to avoid running aground, getting stuck, and most importantly, preventing damage to our reefs and ecosystem. Not much to say…read more Small park, but surprisingly, it has everything you need all crammed into a tiny space. It has a community center, workout stations, playground, and basketball court. Super quiet -it is never busy. There are a few parking spots, but there is also street parking.

When we visited, the water was clear and the waves were calm. We spent about 30 minutes there -- short but a really nice experience.
