After just a couple of years, they told me that they are just stealing back all the safe deposit boxes anyway. If I had known they were going to do that, I never would have paid all those junk fees to stay with Chase, plus I never even got a prorated refund for the rent I had already put toward the box. This is a brazen scam, and I will be submitting it to a class action law firm.

Unfortunately I cannot go anywhere else because it is tied in with my Subaru Lease Agreement. Since I also have a Chase credit card on auto-pay, they would not allow me to use the same bank account for both. I only have one bank account. Ridiculous.

I've been trying to place a wire to pay off my mortgate. The online wire transaction got cancelled even after confirming with someone on the phone and they said it done. I called and re-initiated the wire by phone. They were supposed to call me to confirm but I missed the call. After calling for several hours I tried to go into the branch to see if there was anything they could do. {Insert Jay here} He called on my behalf. Talk through several layers of beaurcracy. Seemed to make progress but when I was put on the phone with the someone from the east coast they started to ask for all this reverification (like my account number which I don't have memorized). WhenI pointed out I was standing in their branch and this call was initiatied by the branch....she responded "how do I know that". So they couldn't confirm/complete the transaction. So now I'm waiting for the call back from the original person to get this transaction through before it self cancels. I understand the need for security but its inconvenient and frustrating the customer US Bank. When the dust settles I have to go relook to see I'm being charged for all these transactions that didn't go through and ultimately I'm looking for a new bank. All these fees to process my own money is crazy.

I knew that any wire transfers that do not get sent past 2:30pm on a Friday get sent Monday. I walked into the branch and told them I wanted to wire transfer $60,000 to my brokerage account, to buy stocks. I played a shell game for over an hour where the bank tellers pretended to be ignorant about how to send a wire transfer. I even called my brokerage on the phone and had him explain all the details to the bank teller and it was excuse after excuse. After finally threatening to close all my accounts and saying, "if you don't get this wire transfer by today, I'm walking out of this bank today with $60,000 in cash." The teller finally decided to stop playing dumb and wire transfer my money. I was respectful throughout this HOUR ordeal (not waiting, they were just pretending to be stupid to not send the money). They even threatened to call the cops on me because I raised my voice and said "IVE BEEN WAITING FOR A WIRE TRANSFER FOR OVER AN HOUR AND NOBODY CAN FIGURE THIS OUT!?" They tried to wait past the deadline so the bank got my interest over 3 more days. Onpoint, after this situation, I have opened an account with Sofi, where I can wire transfer without human interaction. If you don't put customers first, you will lose customers.

When my family opened an account for a Trust, Homestreet documented an individual as a Trustee and…read moregave them full access to all funds even though the individual was NOT a Trustee. This is illegal. Our attorney caught this error, created documents asking the bank to correct the account and requested that we physically go in. So we did, but the Branch Manager, Jacob Pilling, refused to do so, even though the legal trustee was present, and Homestreet had a copy of the Trust, which showed the individual was NOT a Trustee. Jacob required us to create a document to release the "so called" Trustee. Our attorney was appalled at the request, yet executed this. After over two frustrating hours of dealing with Jacob, and unnecessary legal fees, the account was corrected. My elderly 89 year old father was exhausted from the confrontation. The Branch Manager, Jacob Pilling never apologized or thanked us for our business. In fact, he left without so much as a word before we even finished signing all documents. A few days later we withdrew all funds and closed the account. We could not trust Homestreet with our funds and did not want to contend with such rude treatment.

The staff isn't very friendly, I showed up the first time after running errands and in my gym clothes. And this branch location has a bit of a "fancy" feel if you know what I mean. So I didn't fit the mold until I had over $15,000 to deposit. I knew that they thought "um this lady has no money." Which ironically is true at the moment. But when the employee took the checks, he asked what our business does. When I said Logistics he said "what exactly is that?" And I told him and then he seemed to think right. That's why you look like this. I actually have 0 cares about what people think of me, so I only took 1 star away, since I realize it would be rude or offensive to other people. But all in all easy to deposit, get in and out and decent location to park etc.

I had deposited a check back in December and upon reconciling my account it never went through even though the bank confirmed that it did go through. There's no internal Messaging from the bank to let you know, and when I tried to cash the check that I had retained, they said they couldn't do it. This is far from the only time that depositing a check via mobile deposit says that it goes through and surprise surprise it doesn't and it's totally up to you to figure it out. The bank is only working for businesses who deposit a lot of money now and individual people can go screw themselves. Also, the women at the front were really caddy and rude. When I mentioned this is part of the reason why I switched banks after 20 years their response was to do whatever was best for me with no apology.
