Staff is awesome! They really take their time making sure you know what to do and that you have a good time. Book your session online! One hour wakeboard lesson $54, kiteboarding $199 + tax 60 mins on the water + 30 min ground school. Get their early. Bongo's cafe has a great burger.

A must stop visit when in Marathon! This place was off the chart family fun. Myself (50) and my three kids (17 to 27) reserved the a hour, and as beginners were able to get up and have some great fun! The instructors are funny, give great advice, and make the whole experience worth the trip. Plus they've got a cool outdoor area with Cornhole, chair swings, bar, and great garden area surrounding it all! Kids couldn't stop talking about it so I highly recommend doing this! We definitely will next time we're visiting Marathon.

Awesome wake board park featuring, wake-boarding, local vendor spaces, a sustainable garden, a lumber space, a bar, food truck, a stage for live performances/featured djs, and walking trails. They are also adding Murals and an art gallery in the containers that are on the property. I met the owners and they are the nicest ppl you can ever meet.. they said they have plans to further develpe the park to offer even more... the best part is that the space focusing on sustainable ways to operate.. so its run mostly on solar power, they recycle everything, and they have a goal for it to eventually create zero waste. They even ask that you bring to plastics on site and also ask you to either bring your own cup or "rent" one of theirs. Looking forward to my next visit!

We stopped in on our way down to Key West. This was a perfect way to break up the long drive. Water was clear and warm. The hour session came with an encouraging instructor who gave pointers and suggestions throughout the time. We opted for an hour, which was more than enough time to wear us out! Very friendly staff highly recommend stopping in!

We rented the wake board park for an hour over the Thanksgiving break and had a blast! It was myself and my three sons ages 6, 9 and 12 and everyone said it was their favorite activity of the trip. The three guys that run the place were so helpful. I included a picture of my 6 year old who was learning how to get up and they were right there with the paddle board walking him through each step. Luke thought it was fun just riding around on the paddle board. It was a really fun and positive experience for our family. I just wish we could have stayed another hour!

Brought my son who never wakeboarded but does snowboard and after a couple attempts made it up with the help of Carson (employee). After getting used to the board started hitting ramps. Atmosphere was great and would differently recommend.

We had the BEST DAY at Keys Cable today!! We come to the keys every July and, for one reason or another, we've never made it to this facility. Today, we added it to the list of our MUST DO activities. Never again will we come to the keys without spending a day here. Our group of 7 consisted of 3 teenage boys (14 & 15) and adults ranging in age from 37 to 60ish and we ALL boarded and ALL had a blast! We opted to reserve a private cable for 3 hours and we could have easily stayed all day! Our guide/operator Joe was awesome and took such good care of us. It was a first class experience start to finish. HIGHLY recommend!!

New wakeboarding park located in the Florida Keys. I got to ride a wakeskate and a wakeboard the other day at this cable park for the first time and it was dope! Mike Walsh and Matt Sexton brought me from a Noob to someone that could right switch in no time at all. If you are in the Florida Keys be sure to check out this wake surfing park!

This park is the absolute best place to spend a few hours with or without your children. My son never wake boarded before and they made him comfortable from the entrance.. One of the partners in the business, Mathew, even helped instruct all the first time kids to accelerate their learning curve and make it the best experience of their keys trip! This is the best new addition to Marathon and something very needed with an Eco-flair to boot! Thanks Austin, Mathew and everyone at keys cable!

Captain SpongeBob greeted us with a warm smile and began laying down the safety procedures and plans for the day. His opening speech included strict adherence to his instructions, and our kayak assignments. SpongeBob seemingly takes safety seriously. Once assembled in pairs on the dock, he carefully helped us into our boats without issue so we all remained dry. Our two hour tour crossed the boat channel and took us into the heart of the mangroves. SpongeBob was sure to navigate our channel crossing safely, together as a group, like a Mama Duck, ensuring we were all there. Inside the mangroves, we paddled thru a labyrinth of "mangrove tunnels", which admittedly, was something I never knew of. These tunnels were narrow and difficult to navigate, but fascinating. SpongeBob informed us that mangrove trees originated across the ocean in Jamaica and other volcanic islands millions of years ago and floated here, forming roots in the limestone floor of the Florida reefs and shallows. Mangrove roots collect the ocean sediment to strengthen their roots, which actually grow out of the branches. The limestone beds that amassed over many years formed what today are the Florida Keys. Our amazing sightings included an osprey nest, the tallest mangrove tree in all the Keys, what was once one of the tallest radio tower in North America, schools of jellyfish, a small brown snake, and some beautiful orchids. SpongeBob referred to himself as a proud Conch, or native of the Keys. He delighted us with stores aplenty about the history of the area, its colorful residents, and the history of development, and the many houseboats inhabiting Boot Key Channel. Expect nothing fancy, just some good ole fashioned kayaking in one of the most natural and beautiful mangrove preserves. Suggestions include; be sure to pack plenty of water and sunscreen, along with comfy water shoes. Also, be sure to grab some cushions if he offers them to keep your butt comfy. In retrospect, we probably should have arrived early to complete the pre-departure checklist without delaying our paddling time. Time moves slower in the mangroves and the two hours passes fast. Enjoy!

Biggest ripoff in the Keys. $200 for two of us. The tour lasted one hour and 15 minutes. Nothing…read morespecial whatsoever. SpongeBob is a scammer cheating tourists out of their money. Save your money and snorkel for half the price.
