We can't say enough about our best day of our vacation. Most of our tour group had little to no experience with Jet Skis until today. But Thomas and Juan Pablo took excellent care of us. From fitting our life jackets, explaining how the machines work, the safety rules, and the hand signals we would follow while on the tour. First Juan gave us instructions and our own area in which to ride and feel comfortable. Then had us play follow the leader so he knew who needed some extra help. It was me who needed some extra instruction. He's a patient instructor and I was able to feel confident and enjoy the ride. It was fun riding the Atlantic waves, then crossing over to ride through Mangroves and the calm waters of the Gulf. They take some great photos to remember the group and the exciting day we had. We all want to come back and take another tour with Thomas and Juan Pablo. VETERANS...AVOID THIS PLACE! Owned and run by a bunch of unethical people! A recent visit here was an absolutely terrible experience. Don't expect good customer service here! And their equipment? Older, well used (and abused) and unsafe. These guys will take your money and leave you hanging out to dry, if there is a problem. They offer a small discount for paying in cash BUT don't be tempted by this as you won't get your money back and since its not a credit card, can't dispute the charges with your bank or financial institution. The Hadley House Hotel (where this is located) should NOT renew the contract with this company. WAAAAAY Too many other places nearby that truly value and treat their customers (and Veterans) with respect. Won't ever be back to this place. read more

Terrible customer service and do not stand behind their product! This company sold an iPhone pouch to me to "protect" my phone during the jet ski tour. I noticed it was pretty flimsy but figure it would be good for at least a 1.5 hours tour. I followed the instructions on the package, sealed my iPhone and hung the strap around my neck. Well, 30 minutes into the tour, I noticed this piece of junk of a phone pouch completely fell apart (see pix) and my iPhone is somewhere in the Atlantic ocean. Mind you this was a guided tour so I never went above 35 mph and I was not doing anything crazy or aggressive. The three people at the rental stand all said they can't do anything and gave me an e-mail for the owner. I e-mailed the owner 10 days ago and never heard a peep back - way to stand behind the products you sell!! In short, this company sold me a piece of junk with the expressed purpose of "protecting my phone" during a jet skiing tour and within 30 minutes, it fell apart and my iPhone 13 fell into the ocean which will cost $1,000+ to replace. After all that, the owner cannot be bothered to respond. Can't think of worse customer service if I tried. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else. read more

We followed directions and came early and with cash for a 30 min freedom ride. Arrived at 9:50 as it was first come first served. There were plenty of skis available. We waited in line for 45 mins only to be told my sons had to take the boating test online. No big deal (although we could have done this while waiting in line) but by the time we were done we waited another 45 mins as one attendant went out for a tour and the second one was trying to get a boat working for another group. We sat in the sun for 90 mins and decided to find another outfitter. Super disappointed. Total waste of our morning. read more

Not bad , but could have been better. We rented a jet ski for 1 hr . The equipment is a lil outdated . We was in the water for 30 min & I had to jump twice in the water to take out the seaweed cuz it was going super slow after 20 more min the thing turned off. We had to call the guy to come & when he finally found us after 20 min he said was the kill switch or some , he jumped on the water & unclogged it . What an awesome day. My boyfriend and I rented a 23 foot deck boat. The boat was in great condition. Joseph and the rest of the staff was super friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. Close to the lighthouse that has great snorkeling and close to the sandbar for fun with other boaters. Always felt very safe. I have never driven a boat myself and felt very comfortable driving this boat. They help you dock the boat. I thought the price was very fair for a 7 hour private boat all to ourselves. Made reservation on line. Showed availability for the time and date. We are visiting only for 3 days. Don't have too many options. The office called us the one day before the date. We reserved a 22' deck boat for half day. The website said it was good for 6 people and would go 24 to 30mph. After paying, signing papers and loading they told us it might be a little slower with 6 people. The boat would not plane. Top speed 12 mph. 5 of us decided to rent jet skis for an hour, 3 of us were required to take a temp boating education class online (which was fine) got there the two girls working seemed super nice, they took a quick walk around video once we were on the skis and then we went out. We were out for about 30 min and the girl who had to watch us out there lost her Apple Watch, we then spent the next 45 min all looking for her watch in the one area (needle in the ocean) water was only probably 6 to 7 feet deep, we got back and the other girl then said we damaged one of the skis with a "crack" which was clearly a scuff probably from us floating next to each other looking for her watch, but then we start looking at the other skis and they all have white duct tape on them! Then they charge us $280, but said if we pay cash it would be $150! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE, if you do take very close pics of your jet skis!! read more

Boyfriend and I shared a jet ski for a 1hr30 tour around the island. Booking online was easy, check in was fast and painless. Sharky, our tour guide, was helpful and very fun. We had plenty of opportunities to go fast and enjoy the ride, rode thru mangrove and made a lovely stop by a sandbar before heading back to the dock. Worst Waverunner Tour Ever! Have been on many tours with my family and friends throughout Florida this was the most borning tour ever. We rented 6 waverunners that cost over $1,100 for 1.5 tour but felt totally ripped off. The waverunners have a top speed of 50mph but tour guides never let us go above 30 mph, would not let us drift or have any sort of fun, only a follow the leader slow boring tour like we were all little children . They took pictures of the group and said they would email for free, never did. You could have about as much fun just kayaking. I even emailed the owner just to ask if this is normal? He only emailed back excuses for the poor performace of thier guides. We have used other tour companies in the area, you'll be much better off. read more

THEIFS! BEWARE! We are not the first case of this happening. I went out with my wife and my son to go jet skiing. When we came back they charged us with damage done, saying that I crashed it and damaged the jet ski, they did not give not give me a choice and held my credit card hostage till we payed for it! We went with a tour guide, and I in any moment NEVER crashed into something or someone. We got charged $500 with a supposed "discount." Plus they were rude! Do not recommend. read more

My wife and I shared a jet ski for the 1hr tour. They don't just unleash you with a jet ski to go wherever you want but the 1hr tour provided ample time to play around in open areas and took you through the mangroves and both gulf/ocean side. Places that don't do the guided ones keep you confined to a small area and the tour with Joseph was such a better experience. He was super fun and took pictures and air dropped them to us for free! This was an amazing experience. My girlfriend and I decided to go rent Jetskis, after doing some research we found this company. We got the location which had easy parking. We met with Max that checked us into our reservation. We showed up pretty early, which wasn't a problem where they had plenty of chairs for lounging and a gorgeous view. The tour was another amazing part! During the tour our tour guide showed us a bunch of amazing locations with crystal clear water! He was very accommodating to everyone on the tour which was reassuring. Overall I had an amazing experience and I will definitely be back here again. read more

Beware, my brother and I rented a Carolina skiff for a few hours, the boat was fine, but when we returned it they attempted to charge us for a new prop saying that we had run aground. They even produced a picture of a new prop saying it was the prop we damaged. They lightly paint the prop before you rent the boat and the paint will come off. That proves to me it is a scam to rip off people. Luckily we took a picture of the prop before we went out and threatened to call the police before they dropped the claim read more

Total scam artists. Beware. Dinged $300 to "polish" a cheap aluminum prop that cost $125 new. Maybe they'll use the $300 to fix the broken baitwell. $8/gallon for fuel for boat renters 3.75 for everyone else. read more

Awful experience. Really couldn't believe how we were blindsided. I'd say it was a 3.5 or 4 until...We are locals, with a home in Islamorada. We rented here several times in the past, and thought it would be just as good. We arrived at almost 2:00. First problem is you can only rent boats for full or half day. They don't give hourly options, although the board in the new office is confusing because they do state they have hourly options. This was not offered to us. So, we paid for a 'half day' and were told to bring the boat back by 5. That's 2 and a half hours, by the time we got on the boat, an old Carolina Skiff. We agreed to pay for gas up front or pay $8 a gallon after. We were under the impression this was good. It may have been, and that's the one star which is the minimum I can give them anyway. We rented the boat uneventfully, after signing a contract in 6 point font which we absolutely could not read. I mentioned several times, we don't have our reading glasses. We could barely figure out where to sign let alone read the contract assuming that anything important would be told to us. As we signed paperwork, we were told 'just put all your initials here I will tell you about the rest on the boat' so we did not see what we signed. Since we are keys locals will usually trust people in the keys but in this case on our arrival bringing the boat back to an a half hours later we were charged an additional $300 and were told that we ran aground which we did not and that we brushrd the propeller which we did not. Then we were told it was in the contract it because our credit card was held hostage in the office until returning, so we couldn't even get it back or deny the extra charge which was horrible, unlawful and not to mention that they lost our business and hopefully our neighbors and yours as well. I left so angry after a perfect 2.5 hours (really? $740.00?!@!) on the water. Here's what I learned: anytime I rent a boat in the future, we will check the condition the condition of the boat and report it from bow to stern. Including propeller. And, we will get our reading glasses out of the car. Knowing that we couldn't and didn't read the contract, or second page that he led us through ("just put your initials here and I'll explain on the boat") he threw the contract rules in our face to gouge us when we came back to dock. Bad. Keys. Business. If you don't have a captains license, don't even try to rent or you will be charged. Or at least this review may curb them from stiffing you. (You're welcome). As for me, I can't see this company being able to rectify with me. Sadly, I live across the street. read more

My friends and I live in Miami and we decided to take a trip down to the Keys at the recommendation to try out this company that rents out jet skis. On arrival, we were greeted by the staff who were professional and friendly. They gave us a rundown of the tour and got us on the skis quickly. Ricky (one of the tour guides) explained everything clearly and was very patient with our rowdiness. The tour was beautiful and we all had a blast especially in the mangrove tunnel.
