My girls have been going to Ms Inga for 2-3 years. She is a patient and effective teacher. She teaches music theory in a way that makes it understandable and fun for the kids and combines it well with playing the instrument. This school is good because the teachers seem to be very patient and very much geared toward focusing on each individual student and the needs of each student. They really get to know the students and their weaknesses and their strengths. They tailor lessons around the students' abilities and thereby help them improve their skills. Love this school. We have been taking our kids here for 7 years, since they were 3 and 4, and we can't imagine life without it. They can accommodate any level from beginner on up. Some of the private students are quite advanced. The best part is that parents are encouraged to attend the group classes with the kids. So if you want to learn along with your kids, you just have to practice. Music has been my hobby for a while, and I have definitely benefitted from these group lessons. We have one child who has added saxophone lessons as well. So there are good instructors in other areas beyond piano. Definitely try it out if you are even thinking about it. read more

Inga Magid is a wonderful teacher. Her contagious passion for music is matched by her technical knowledge. She has a personality like a supernova, and her enthusiasm presses her students to heights they never imagined. My daughter has been taking group piano classes for a year now at Keys for Kids. This is her second year of piano instruction. I am AMAZED at how far she has come! She has learned so much and had so much fun doing so. My favorite thing about this studio is the staff. They are fun and strict. They are very motivating and know each student individually. The class moves at just the right speed to keep everyone engaged and challenged. My daughter has truly blossomed in this program. The curriculum is fantastic. My 6 year old and I joined Miss Inga Magid's "Keys for Kids" class in fall 06. We started with her "Mini Keys" curriculum for piano and progressed through it smoothly up to "Super Keys" this summer, when we moved to LA. We both enjoyed the class thoroughly and learned a lot. I was very happy that Miss Inga included parents in her group class and insisted that they learn enough during class to be able to help their kids with practice at home. Miss Inga is extremely enthusiastic and energetic, and truly loves what she does. My daughter loved her class; learned a lot and practiced every day to make sure she got the maximum number of stamps.
