My daughter was seen on Tuesday, July 13th and the hygienist was snappy and rude, she refused to listen to my daughter concern about how the removal of her wisdom teeth may have caused a gap to return between her two front teeth. My daughter attended her appointment for the first time without an older adult because she is 18 but when she return home after her appointment she was so upset because the hygienist was so rude and her tone was so harsh when she spoke to her. My daughter said that the orthodontist, Dr. Jessie was there and her attitude was no better and my daughter said she noticed that Dr. Jessie had positive energy when treating other patients but when she arrived at her station had demeanor and body language changed and she was less friendly. Since we started my daughter's braces treatment at Perry Hall location it has been one issue after another. There were many times when the staff and the hygienist were not friendly. I've tried to move her treatment to one of their other offices, and they made it so challenging that it didn't happen so she finished her treatment at the Perry Hall location. This journey was not pleasant for my daughter or myself. I would not recommend anyone to use the Perry Hall location.

She had a very difficult case, which didn't seem to phase them during consultation, they charged us 2x as much because it was going to take more work to fix. 18 months later, she has a tooth with root reabsoption, because of too much trauma on the tooth when they were moving it. We initially sought treatment for her crossbite, but now it is a severe underbite that jets out and they refused to do extractions even though there was severe crowding on the bottom they straightened out, her front teeth are almost coming out of the jaw bone as there is not enough space and they are stretched so thin. The teeth barely fit and her bottom jaw jets out, but the doctors are ready to take her braces off, as they insist there's nothing they can do now.

I have gone to a dentist every 6 months since I was a child and brush and floss regularly. I have HMO dental insurance through work which covers my cleanings (2 a year), as well as my periodic x-rays. Not many dentists in the area take our insurance, so I was thrilled to find Touch of Smiles. I have never been told I have a cavity or had anything "pushed" on me. My husband has had more extensive dental work done there no problems. Insurance covered some of it. I recently had whitening trays made, which insurance didn't cover...obviously, but I felt I paid the average cost for them. The office staff is always nice and accommodating. I would recommend Touch of Smiles and Dr. Ra to anyone looking for a dentist.

The front desk people are nice but only transfer you to a different number which is in New York. They don't manage their business side in the offices but rather 3rd party who never returns calls. We have left about 6 messages at the front desk and the NY-based offices. Zero help and now my daughter is missing care plan treatment. They were so there for us when it came to providing the $$$$$ and now no one answers. Our other daughter is having trouble with the wires staying in but no one ever returns calls. After examination, he suggested I need braces on top and bottom because my bite was not correct and was causing stress damage to my front teeth. I agreed. Beforehand, I did have braces on my top teeth as a teenager but after not having my retainer they did move. Treatment started in January 2016 with pulling out one of my bottom teeth to shift the midline and correct the bite. Treatment was supposed to last 2 years. $6,800 plus some 30-40 visits later (5 years and 8 months later) the braces finally came off. He took his time. He listened. He cared for how I wanted my smile to look. He went above and beyond to make me happy even though it took him so much more time since my case was so complicated (skeletal misalignment issues ). Speak up and he will definitely hear you and make sure the final result is to your liking. Highly recommend Dr. Izadi and his very professional office!
