When first arriving on the second floor, I was looking for a directory. Signage to find it was hard to find. It was on a TV that got lost with the information about the weather. It is on the third floor. Evey employee there seems to genuinely care and they are professional. The patient is a person, not just a co-pay. The office and therapy rooms are clean. I told Dr Mike that the time he took to provide a professional evaluation, a detailed explanation of the cause and a clear strategy for treatment gave me confidence and hope that I would feel better soon. After two weeks of treatment, seven visits and doing the exercises at home given to me, I am 95%+ better. Back to normal and ready to begin my regular workout routine again. It wasn't and so I seek out some. Codeine to help with the pain. The next drug screen that I took had codeine in my urine I explained the situation and they dismissed me without circumstance or pomp. Fast forward, two years my physician referred me to the pain management clinic due to my extreme pain. When I received the voice mail at 9:30 (I get up at 9 as I work until 1am), I called back and they said "well she can't be seen today there was a mix up with the doctor's schedule". I replied "So, my mother got bumped but someone else is getting their much needed appointment today." Natalie replied "You don't need to go all 'crazy' on me." How dare she call me crazy when I was being calm and asking questions she didn't like. She also made it sound like my mother could no longer be seen today, her exact words. When the office manager called back, wouldn't you, she could still be seen. Retrain her.

For that appointment, I sent my updated insurance information by email, as they requested. Despite having 3.5 weeks to confirm, they called me 45 minutes before closing the day before my rescheduled appointment of time to say that, not only were they not able to confirm my insurance, but that my insurer told them I did not have an active plan (I do). Because the clinic called me less than an hour before closing, I was unable to connect with my insurer by phone to get the clinic confirmation. I ended up cancelling my appointment due to frustration and lack of any options provided by the most clinic's administrators. They would not allow me to bring proof of coverage to my appointment, a typical practice for any other reputable physician's office.
