This place saved my life I did not want to go into recovery I was intimidated and scared I've done…read moreit on my own for so long and something wasn't working, I Finally admitted I needed help and called within a hour I had two wonderful people come pick me up, they talked to my family and ensured them of my care. Upon arrival I was greeted by the rest of the staff and given a great room (AC, Netflix , comfy bed, plenty of space) upon recovery I went through it all panic, anxiety, physical pain and the staff was with me every step and every hour of the day. The medical staff is caring and knowledgeable but the counselors and the house staff/ admission staff were just as amazing, I think I took something from each person sometimes I would just hang out and talk to anyone of the staff and they all understood how I felt and where I was coming from and helped me push past it . Even on Fourth of July Kimberly came by with her husband and made us all steaks and potatoes which was my favorite meal so I was all excited. I learned a lot about myself and was given a plan of action for when I left, I have a second chance and plan on embracing that. I recommend this to anyone struggling out there your not alone and their are people who can help .

When I called the owner she said that they weren't required to give medical attention for 24 hours. Since he was not examined, they could not give him any medication to alleviate the withdrawal symptoms. Given the fact that withdrawal can be fatal you would think that an inpatient detox facility would have someone on call at all times. Apparently, their physicians don't work on Sundays! "There shall be a physician, nurse practitioner and/or physician's assistant under the supervision of a physician, on staff to perform the initial medical examination of all patients and to prescribe any and all necessary pharmacological medications necessary to secure safe withdrawal."

I…read morecan say without any doubt that the people that make up this community have a calling to serve and support those of us trying to heal and find a new way of life. I was suppose to only be with silver linings for two months, but my healing and building a foundation called for more time; they held me up the whole way. At Silver linings i've been able to grow spiritually, physically, in my mind and find a purpose. Today im over five months clean from drugs and alcohol, I have a career that feeds my energy, and a community of people that help me stay driven and accountable. I encourage anyone struggling with their mental health or addiction to reach out to this team, it was the best decision I've ever made. I regret not doing it sooner. Dive in head first and give it your all, day by day, it compounds and pays in dividends. Sign up for EMDR, it's a game changer, Becca's the best, Kira's Art therapy is a vibe, Luis keeps the wheels turning and deserves his flowers, Jerry's the veteran sober mentor with 20+ years sober, Suzanne was my amazing case manager, always advocating for me and guiding me in the right direction, Corey's discharge planning groups help you prepare for your next steps and she's always leading groups on tropics that the clients are intrigued by. Martha is such a light, her couples counseling was so valuable for me. Will leads a grief group every month for men that's really supportive. Kendra and Doctor Grover are so much more than medical support, your check ins with Dr. Grover are like a session with a guru. The director, Dan, is the wise yoda/Buddah at Silver linings, he gets pulled in a 1000 directions all day, but is always available to help ground or center the energy and provide whatever help or guidance you need. CK and Barmack are the two behind the scenes, but they're always serving others and offering themselves as a vessel to serve a higher purpose. I can't say enough good things about this group of SPECIAL HUMANS. It's not hard to find the silver lining.
