Thank you Ron for responding so quickly! Was in a pinch with power outage and my parents being unable to get in my home when I was away and we have pets. The $89 service was worth the peace of mind, especially since it was in less than an hour from when I called. read more

Rod the owner is a professional. We had to reschedule originally and he called me well in advance and worked out the new appointment time. Shows up early, respectful and masked up during the pandemic. Efficient, quality work. Every lock replaced works very smooth. Highly recommend Rod. Super nice guy read more

The nicest guy came and changed all of the locks at my house. I had a bag of keys and he politely worked with the random bag full of keys to find which ones went with which doors. He was polite, efficient, and reasonably priced. read more

HIGHWAY ROBBERY!!!! If you are looking to only get keys cut, DO NOT COME HERE. Go to a WalMart, Ace, Home Depot, anywhere but here. It was $75 for 10 plain keys.... That's downright absurd. Never again. In response to Rod H... you're not in the business of having reasonably priced key cutting... you're a locksmith and key shop... hmmmmm. That's totally logical. And no, your prices were NOT posted in plain sight. I was one of your very first customers, apparently before you thought to post your prices. Due in part to your snarky response, I will make sure anyone I know will never set foot in your establishment. I've already prevented 4 customers from coming to your shop. I wonder how many more I can save you from having to be rude to? read more

We have been a commercial locksmith company since 1976 serving the security needs of schools, hospitals and government facilities. We hold 14 US Patents on innovative security devices.

Meet the Business Owner: Rod Herdman A.

Rod Herdman has been a locksmith and serial entrepreneur for over four decades and holds over a dozen patents on novel locking devices. Mr. Herdman has won a number of awards including being selected as one of the top twenty-five independent inventors for 2007 by Modern Marvels History Channel. In 2015, Mr. Herdman received a grant from the Smartech Challenge Foundation for his work developing a new child-safe gun lock.

I had a real good experience. First of all when I called beforehand my call was answered immediately by someone who was knowledgeable about their business. I arrived with my deadbolt locks on a Saturday afternoon. There were no surprises. They started re keying them immediately. When I came back from getting a few groceries the service was even better. It happened to be raining and I'm on crutches (broken ankle). So get this. I hadn' t even finished parking when I noticed the gentlemen from the store walking across the lot with my locks in hand to hand deliver them to me in my truck. He took my credit card and ran back in the store to process it and came back for my signature. Awesome. Only $10 per lock to re-key. That seems reasonable to me. Thanks Keystop! read more

Its not clear why Yelp chooses to post the ONLY negative review from Evan L. who is upset he didn't check prices before ordering keys. Notice Evan L. did not complain about the quality of the keys. We have offered Evan L. an opportunity to stop in so that we can resolve his complaint. Instead Evan L chooses to recklessly weld his power of the review to post more disparaging comments. There are many other reviews that accurately reflect the kind of quality and thoughtful service you can expect from us. Regrettably, yelp has suppressed them and labeled them as "not recommended". I challenge Yelp to post ALL the reviews so that consumers can make an informed decision. Its not right to sensor our customer history. read more

Rod was able to come out to our house on a Saturday and changed out all the locks to use the same key. He also was able to install a digital lock for us and gave us very clear instructions on how to setup the pass-codes. He took extra care to make sure each of the doors closed well and also fixed one of our strike plates. Along with the service he provided he also cut us four new keys. I highly recommend this shop especially if you are getting your house re-keyed. Thank you for the excellent work and great customer service. read more

FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!! My purse and house keys were stolen last night from my car at Bridgewater Falls parking lot. I called several locksmith companies and couldn't get a straight answer on pricing. I talked to Rod at Keystop Locksmiths who quoted me an exact price to help me get back in my home and change my locks. GREAT SERVICE! PERFECT KEYS! I had keys made for my house from Wal-mart, TWICE and they did not work. Then I went to HomeDepot and they did not work either! I wasted 2.5 hours of my time!!! I then found West Chester Locksmith. The keys they cut worked great. Yes, they were more expensive than Wal-mart and HomeDepot, but they were worth it! Done, no more running around. I highly recommend you avoid the other guys and go straight here. read more
