I took my family to the KFC drive-through on 8/23/24 at 1pm. There was a manager at the drive-through window who was so lackadaisical about her job. When I asked did that come with fries she said "sure" in a sarcastic way. She then asked us if we would like drinks with our meal. I told her no meaning I did not want combos. She charged us for combos and when we got to the front, the young lady said you've already paid for combos you might as well take the drink when I said OK we'll take the drink. The manager, got very upset, threw her hands up in the air and said "aye yai, yai" . if she does not like her job she shouldn't have one. I'm honestly not sure what everyone is complaining about. We were stuck in holiday traffic for hours and excited to see a KFC! We ordered three chicken little sandwiches, french fries and a diet soda. The chicken little sandwiches were delicious, the chicken was cooked perfectly and it was a decent piece of fried chicken. The young person who took our order was polite, respectful, and courteous - she even asked us if we wanted ice in our soda and provided us with extras (napkins and ketchup); she even apologized and explained politely that they don't carry mayonnaise packets when we requested extra mayonnaise. The women walked away ( I figured she was going to get something) and I waited for about 5 minutes waiting for my receipt because let's be honest- I don't trust anyone and I want to see what you're charging my card. Where do I start? No change. A staff of 15-20 in a small space with half masks off. Even with such a large staff the drive-thru is super slow and so I went for a walk in. There's something about crunchy shells, cheap meat, and sour cream that pulls at my heart (or stomach) stings. I've been coming to this taco bell for Years. Lately the food has been terrible. The rice in the burritos would be hard and stale. The beans tend to not be stirred correctly. Portion sizes are always off. The lettuce warm and soggy. I'm always left disappointed. I blame the current batch of employees who probably don't work well together. Lord this is the worst place I've ever seen. First thing is first the wait time is horrible in both the drive thru and the walk up window. You would assume that since it's a Taco Bell and a KFC they would at least have separate cashiers so the process could be quicker but NO instead if you want either of them you need to wait in a long line. After waiting after 10 mins and you finally get to the front enjoy the ride cashier that awaits you to order. They respond back with attitude (honey it's not my fault you hate your job, I didn't tell you to apply to that. You knew what you was getting yourself into. Don't take it out on me!) Anyways, they never have a response to anything you ask it's always "I don't know" or "look at the menu". Aside from that the cooks share the same countertop ever heard of CROSS CONTAMINATION!!! To start this off, i only come here because it's the only taco-bell near me. But they can NEVER seem to get it right here! The KFC is amazing, I've never had an issue when i order chicken, mash potatoes, mac and cheese, etc. It's always fresh and tasty. BUT the taco-bell is never up to par. I can never have a decent taco. I NEVER get from the fresh batch. I keep giving them chances but i do not know why. At other taco-bells i usually get the chalupas. But at this taco-bell it's disgusting. The only thing i have tried from here that didn't disgust me was the Doritos Loco taco and the Cooler Ranch. This taco bell-KFC restaurant is in my neighborhood. I used to go there alot. Mostly for taco bell. I know and have experienced that they are not consistent in how they prepare the food and its freshness. One day I would try a bean burrito and it would taste great, cheese melted in with the beans. The next time, the beans would have hard pieces in every 2 bites, like if they hadn't made a fresh batch of beans for hours. I've never left that taco bell feeling that the service was great. The KFC chain would be embarrassed by the service you receive if you visit this location. This location is under construction and only taking drive thru orders. My friends and I stood in the drive thru with another group ahead waiting to be acknowledged by the servers. We finally walk to window and ask to give our order since we waited so long, the servicer had a bad attitude and barely listen to us. I don't understand why she had such a nasty attitude when she only had to deal with the drive thru since the lobby is closed for renovation.
