I am a burger lover. Today, Jimbo's served me a Swiss cheeseburger that tasted like love. Hot, juicy and fresh off the griddle-my tomatoes were fat and red and my pickles were crisp and delicious. Ice cold lemonade from the fountain was the perfect drink for washing it down. I'm generally only this far uptown for work and Jimbo's burgers are one of the greatest lunch treats. read more

favorite place to buy grub , they also offer free delivery which is great. classic cash only place and the service is great especially for eating in. just a classic diner- great environment for a quick eat and a huge menus. burgers and chopped cheese are my favorite as well as their breakfast items. i love jimbos ! read more

I went to this location and purchased a baking Eggo cheese on a croissant and an egg and cheese on a croissant and the total was 1550 and the bacon was not good quality the gentleman and the lady were very nice but I'm paying for food not for niceness. You are better off going to Capital diner, which is a few blocks away, better quality food, and better prices. read more

This was my go to place for 10 years until I moved. Came to visit ordered some lunch with confidence that it was going to be good. I ordered a fresh squeezed oj & carrot juice, grilled caesar chicken salad and a blt. The only thing that came correct was the blt. They sent me the wrong juice beets and carrot. The kicker here was who puts hot chicken on lettuce? To add to that someone put dressing on it already as well. No croutons no parmesean. It was just lettuce? So I got a salad that turned into a soup. I left the salad out of it but I called about the juice I got an attitude from the dude on the phone and it took them 2 hours to send me the correct one. Sorry 207 Jumbos, Dyckman Jimbos has the title now. Y'all are terrible. read more

I only order from this place maybe on a weekend. Every time i order iam expecting to get serve better but every time is the same. Iam not sure if the owner of this place is aware of who ever is the chef. Or atleast taste his food its really not all that. Thu burgers have no taste and the fries are super salty and saggy. One thing i do like about this place is the delivery service really fast. You order and in 10 minutes they knocking on your door. Sometimes it feels like the food is not coocked right. This place is on a corner and its huge inside, So if you go with your family you will always see available seats. read more

I always love coming here and also getting delivery, it's always the same fresh quality. The people that work there are so nice and friendly. Philly cheese steak and the cheeseburger deluxe are great. Their wings and breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too. read more

I wish I could leave "0" stars! These ppl were so rude to me, I will never eat here again. I usually stop and grab lunch, today I stepped in and asked if I could use the rest room before ordering lunch and they not only refused me, but they were extremely disrespectful while doing it too! Jimbo's Hamburger Palace is that one place you can always count on to make fresh burgers, breakfast platters, and any other diner menu item to get your grub on. Originally, there was only one Jimbo's located this far uptown (which still exists) and it's on Dyckman Street. Luckily for us locals they decided to expand and set up shop 7 blocks further up! As opposed to that location, this one has a much bigger space with plenty of tables for patrons to enjoy their meal, smoothie station, and even a restroom for customers. It's been a neighborhood staple for about 6 or 7 years now. They offer great consistent diner food at extremely affordable prices. For about $6 you can get a 4 oz. cheeseburger platter which includes a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink. You can't beat that price! Besides burgers, Jimbo's is your go to when you're craving a big hearty breakfast like bacon and eggs with a side of home fries. They also deliver (no minimum I believe), which is great, especially when it gets colder out. The 1 train (207 stop) is located right in front of the place and you can usually find parking in this area relatively quickly. Be sure to check Jimbo's out the next time you're uptown! read more

This is my go to for great customer service and great greasy eats. The guys hustle behind the counter and are very efficient and the lady waitresses do well also. There are some delicioso Mexican delights on the menu since all of the folks are La genre!!!!!? Bring your own reusable bag for left overs and have some containers as well. read more

Very spacious and airy eatery. The decor is a minimal, no-frill type of place. The floors, seating and tables are very clean and neat. You can see them cooking and ordering the food with no obstruction. The wait staff is very polite and attentive to your needs. I usually order a bacon cheese burger, western omelette with cheese or a gyro with extra tzatziki sauce. Their fries are large, well cooked and has a nice crunch. The shakes taste good and thick, not watery. Every time I go to Jimbo's, the atmosphere is pleasant, food is always fresh, and most importantly taste good. If your uptown This is the best and freshest burger you can get, this review is for most of their establishments. Their fish Burger is good, Turkey Burger is great, and their Regular Burger is up there considering the neighborhood variety. Don't forget the onion rings. read more

Not all Jimbo's are created equal but thankfully this one is on point. The burgers are fresh and delicious. Their onion rings are some of the best I've ever had. They definitely live up to their "hamburger palace" name. I am not too crazy about their breakfast items though, especially the homefries. Fast delivery and nice guys. We order from here pretty frequently. read more

This restaurant used to be my go-to for takeout burgers, cheese fries, gyros, and most outstandingly their gyro sauce. Until Sunday 1/7/18, I placed an order for a grilled chicken platter along with 2 other orders. The order was nearly $40 which is a bit on the expensive side for this kind of takeout. The price was not the problem since we are usually satisfied with their good customer service and the food taste & quality. However, I come to find a roach on my grilled chicken platter disguised within the chicken. I've been a customer here for about 5 years almost now. This was majorly disappointing and will not be ordering or dining here again because it is not the first time. Please, be careful & be sanitary. read more
