I said "I wonder what would have happened if I told you I was short on money?" She did respond I could get you change ( like I was robbing the place). We came for the buffet at a relatively nosy time of day (340pm) on a Sunday. The majority of the food had been sitting for quite some time judging by the denied crusting on the edges of the pan. The most requested items, original recipe chicken and livers were. On existent and after waiting to see if they would be replenished a worker did mosey behind the bar, looked at a few pans (no stirring mind you) and retreated to the restroom. I had to approach the counter and ask if there would be any replenishing and she hollered to the back for some livers. I am severely disappointed. They were adequately staffed and the dining room was only two other couples, myself and my boyfriend. I will not be revisiting this location again. read more

Did an online pick up for a decent size order, everything went smooth. Placing the order was the only annoyance because the site kept giving an error. All our food was correct, fresh, and on time for pickup. One 8-piece bucket, 2 large fries, 16 piece tenders- no complaints in the food. Only other annoying thing was there were only 4 dipping sauces and this was being taken to a party (I personally don't want to share a dipping sauce LOL) but otherwise the employees did great! read more

Absolute poor excuse for a KFC. Went for some pot pies this past Monday. They were out ok, ended up with pizza, I understand. So today, Thursday, I call in advance and the manager said they have five and she asked how many I wanted. I told her I would need three; she said she would go ahead and put down five more. Thirty minutes later, my son showed up to buy the three pot pies, and they only have one. We make a plan change and decide to get an 8-piece bucket. Can't go wrong with that, can you?..... I wouldn't call it special or anything. Just a normal KFC. I've never really had any problems there compared to the places around it. That alone makes it worth a 4th star in my opinion. Workers do a good job and they don't mess up food. Can't complain really. read more

KFC why must you still exist? Is your whole purpose in life now to disappoint those who remember when you were an actual decent place for a quick fix of friend chicken? I stopped here on my way out of town wanting something quick and easy to eat. I got the Popcorn nuggets. I got the standard biscuit and mashed potatoes. It's popcorn chicken, it's not hard to make a decent little nugget of chicken with a nice crunchy breading. I remember when KFC did this VERY WELL. NOT ANYMORE!! They were soggy, greasy and had NO FLAVOR!! What happened to 11 herbs and spices? The Mac and cheese was just pasta with a yellow/orange sauce that looked like (and tasted like) yesterday's executed Egyptian Christian and the biscuit which is a staple of KFC and the biscuit was dry as a Congressional hearing. KFC you are a true disappointment. You did one thing well for so long then you decided to try and be more than you should be. I feel so bad for the poor chickens whose whole life is lived to become good friend chicken. Sadly by fate these chickens are sent to you where you insult their lives and the destiny by making them into sub par, greasy, tasteless food that no person should have to pay for. Some days it is truly a struggle. This location apparently resides in the struggle. I stopped here because I was having one of my days where my mouth was hurting due to teeth movement because....braces! All I wanted was a mashed potato bowl. You know, the bowl that KFC has with the mashed potatoes, corn, popcorn chicken, gravy and shredded cheese? I pulled up to the menu board ready to order and I waited. And waited. And waited. After 10 minutes of waiting, I placed the order for my mashed potato bowl and pulled around the building to wait another 15 minutes. When I finally paid and got my bowl, I wanted to cry because it literally looked and tasted as separate as those words of the ingredients I just typed in this review. All of the ingredients were so lukewarm/cold that the shredded cheese would not melt. KFC gravy is usually so hot it will burn your tongue after a few minutes with the lid off. The chicken was hard, most of it not edible due to my braces....it was definitely not worth the risk of popping a wire. Oh yea....the cookie. This KFC is a hit or miss depending on who's cooking and if the oil is fresh. Somedays everything is delicious, hot, and quickly given at the drive through. Other days the chicken is super greasy, the gravy is lumpy, the biscuits are dry, and the sides are put in their containers in a haphazard manner. Horrible wait time , had to wait at drive thru for 10 minutes to be told i had to wait another 10 minutes for my order to be taken for me to wait 10 more minute and then be told i had to wait 25 minutes for a 3 piece original, seems to be highly unstaffed if they aren't able to cook 3 pieces of chicken in a few minutes or staff aren't doing there jobs. Would leave a 0 out of 5 if i could. and orders 4 regular mac and cheese bowls and was given something entirely different. Went back got refund and still had to pay to get my order again with what i originally wanted so i really didn't even get a refund and had to wait there for 30-40 minutes for food. read more

It was 20 minutes before they even started making my order. I watched them take orders and hand them out then have the nerve to tell me that they were going in order. I also found out from them telling another customer that they were out of dark meat. 20 minutes after I paid they still didn't even tell me that they didn't have part of my order. Ordered a 12 piece meal and asked for all dark meat. A younger man took my money then stepped back towards the kitchen. Another older and larger man came back with my order and said "here ya go, 6 legs and 6 thighs." When I got home, I discovered I had 4 legs, 4 wings, and 2 breasts, not even close to all dark. The only explanation that is fathomable, is that the employee or employees were messing with me. Location 5077 Morganton Rd. Fayetteville, NC 28314. We went in for the buffet there was flies all over the food. There was two very hard pieces of chicken, two hard as hell biscuits and flies everywhere. I got my money back and the Manager was not very professional. (Attitude) Didn't even attempt to fix the problem. The dining area was very dirty, needs to be updated. But most of all it needs to be "Cleaned". They painted the outside and forgot about the inside. Very good food and excellent service. We eat there about once a week and they are very professional. The food is fresh and tasty. The Managers are very hard workers and the other workers leg you know they care about doing a good job and pleasing everyone. I was very surprised to see this KFC with anything other than very high ratings. Someone must be upset at KFC because this is the best managed KFC around the whole Fayetteville area. read more

We went in for the buffet, the dining room was trashed! tables were dirty we managed to find the cleanest one. Saw a woman come out for two seconds just to get some trays and take them, the back line was messy as well. Food was sub-par, barely fresh bit not cold more of room temperature. The cashier was nice, that was the only plus to the experience. I just hope maybe they were short shifted on a saturday afternoon, I only saw about 4-5 people, I used to work in a KFC so I know how being short was. But they needed help! read more

Visited this KFC for the first time since moving to the area. Manager was super friendly and sweet. Welcomed me warmly and placed me in the care of the cashier. Cashier was also friendly and took my order with no problem. Lobby was very clean and neat and restrooms were alright. Mirror needed cleaning, but besides that it was fine. I receive my good quickly. Order was correct and the employee making my good made sure to give me the freshest chicken and biscuits as i asked for. Over all my experience was wonderful and I will definitely be coming back with my family next time. read more

I visited this location today. I placed my order and repeated it twice. The cashier asked me to repeat the order a third time to ensure she had the order correct. I received the order and did not check to see if it was prepared correctly due to me me repeating it 3 times. I made it home and of course the order was incorrect. I called and informed the restaurant. I was asked to come back. I declined because I was frustrated and told the them I would stop by when in the area, for the 2 pieces of chicken that was offered. After ending my conversation, I prepared to eat. The chicken was horrible. It was not seasoned and practically tasteless. I will not visit this location again.
