A waitress will bring the food to you once it's ready. There were three of us in our party. Between the three of us, we got fried flounder, Mac n cheese, collard greens, cabbage, fried pork chops, and Cajun corn. The flounder was fried to perfection, but had very little seasoning/flavor. The pork chops were fried nicely and tasted good. The Mac n cheese had a yummy taste; however, there was way too much cheese. The collard greens would've been delicious but there was a ton of salt in them. They need to be tweaked a little bit and then they will be an incredible side. Lastly, the cabbage was seasoned strongly and too salty as well. I feel like they would be delicious as long as they keep working on the recipe. Long story short: We love to support our local businesses. This place could be a very cool spot for all ages and walks of life. The cook(s) need to form a focus group or something to taste the foods and make recommendations so that they can tweak the recipes and the patrons will keep returning! We were greeted by a very friendly staff that patiently explained the menu and process for ordering. The place had a lot of patrons. We enjoyed some of the best chicken wings I have had this side of Raleigh. My grilled chicken sandwich with fries was on point. My wife enjoyed her comforting tomato soup and grilled cheese.
