After traveling all day from California to visit family for the weekend we stopped by this location after leaving the airport around 11:30pm. Despite it saying were open 24 hours, we barely made it through the door before were met with a very rude young lady who turned us down even though there were two parties seated and eating at the tables inside. It's Waffle House -- you can't expect food that's not greasy and a spotlessly clean restaurant! This is your typical Waffle House location. It's dirty, it's cheap, the service is no-nonsense and you will leave smelling of grease from the grill. Seating is very limited so you might have to wait on a busy weekend. Even if you have to wait, the food comes out fast. The best thing about this place is that it's CHEAP. You can get a HUGE meal with a beverage for around $5. No, I'm not kidding. The quality isn't great but again, it's Waffle House! This place is the perfect cure for a hangover and a great stop if you are craving some cheap diner food. read more

We have been eating fast food breakfast for far too long and wanted to sit down and eat real food for a change. Waffle House is one of our favorite places so we went to see what they had that was good. He got the sausage and egg hashbrown bowl. I got 2 eggs over easy with sausage and biscuits and gravy. Of course the food was delicious...it's Waffle House! But as we ate we watched. 1. There were at least 6 employees working! 2. They were running that place like a well oiled machine 3. #2 wasn't immediately apparent due to the fact that they were all enjoying themselves, each other, the customers and their jobs. Corporations all over America want to know the secret of this One Waffle House because it Is a Unicorn in the world today. Well done!! read more

This was the best, fastest service I have ever received at a Waffle House. We eat at Waffle Houses literally all over the country. And this was THE best experience ever. Wow.... Totally disappointed and disgusted. Was truly looking forward to going as I have not been to a Waffle House in over 15 years but this Waffle House was so dirty. Floor was literally so slick with grease you could feel it and our table was not washed down. Service was pleasant though but the food (2 Waffles and eggs/grits came out at different times. First my son's bacon came out then my wife's dinner and my son's waffle. My waffle came out 5 minutes later. Also, food was very subpar especially the size of the waffle. My wife's eggs and grits were just ok. This Waffle House will make it difficult to give any Waffle House a try again. Sad! read more

I was greeted upon walking in. Service was fast and friendly. They serve breakfast all the time. When I first moved to the area, there was my go to place. I like watching my food cook. But now that I am on the Keto diet, the only allowable menu item was eggs and steak. I choose the T-Bone stone. Which is sliced thin. Not much to eat. I wished I could order eggs,bacon and sausage as a meal. But the menu did not allow me to customize my order. read more

Waffle House to the rescue! After a very failed attempt to get dinner in Wilmington, we were beyond starving when we pulled in here on our way back to Greensboro. A yellow-signed beacon of hope and welcoming, even at 2:00 AM on a Tuesday! This is a old-style Waffle House, the type I am particularly fond of; big sign, marginally uncomfortable booths, and late night regulars with a scattering of drunkards. The staff was the best, clearly having worked together for quite some time, their casual demeanor both funny and refreshing. I finally put the Waffle House to my great steak and egg challenge. Truthfully, it failed miserably, the steak being the toughest piece of meat I have ever encountered. Who really gives a shit though, when accompanied by scattered and covered hash browns and a cup of strong, hot coffee more than make up for it! read more

I love love love all waffle houses. There all star special is only $6.89. It comes with eggs toast bacon and the famous waffle. I never order waffles unless I am at the Waffle House. The service is always great at waffle houses, this one included. I suggest stopping at a Waffle House whenever you are down south! read more

this place was so dirty, the bathroom had no paper towels and trash was overflowing onto the floor with used paper towels. There were two customers at separate tables upon my entry and every last table was nasty with trash/uneaten food on it. There was a pile of trash where they cook and all four employees walked over the trash and 2 were sitting on their phone. Stopped here on our way home. Our waitress, Kiwi, was so kind. The food came super fast and was delicious. I love stopping at waffle houses.

I woke up early in my hotel room and couldn't get back to sleep. Since the hotel's breakfast offerings were appalling, completely unappetizing, and their safety was questionable, I wandered over to the Waffle House just a two minute jaunt away. That early in the morning, the clientele were sparse - perhaps 4 people - but what struck me was how clean this restaurant was! I must admit, I've never been to a Waffle House at 6 am. Do they all steam clean the grill area and scrub-scrub-scrub overnight until it practically sparkles? This location certainly surpassed Waffle House cleanliness standards I've observed. The cheesy eggs were perfectly cooked. The coffee rocked. This venue is well worth a breakfast gamble. read more

Post restaurant experience review to me - it would've been wiser to go somewhere else if I wanted even semi decent service, which I did not get. But the food was really yummy so not all bad. Highly recommend the omelet, which isn't listed on the menu. read more

If I could give negative stars I would give negative 10!! Worst place ever! Food was gross and the coffee was basically brown water! The bathroom was absolutely disgusting too! This place is filthy, there are more flies than employees. The seats are sticky, the menu was dirty, and the floor was dusty. I ordered eggs over easy and bacon. My bacon had so much grease, I needed 3 napkins to soak it up and my eggs had so much butter under them I had to put a napkin under them too... needless to say, I didn't eat. As we left to pay, I took one look behind where they cook and I was very happy that I didn't eat. I wish I could give this a negative 5 star review. YUCK!!!!! read more
