First of all, I wished I could have given this place 0 star... like none, zip! Zzeerrrroooooo!!!!!!! Because I ordered via ubereats, usually you would get a notification that a store/restaurant is about to close for the day. No, not this place. I was able to pick my order and pay for it and I kept waiting, then 40 mins later, I grabbed my phone and saw multiple notifications from ubereats: finding another delivery person to pick up your order. Which means even ubereats wasn't aware as well. So this time I told the driver to knock on the door, he said no one is there and I asked about drive thru, he said they don't have one. Then I get he left, another driver came, this time I told her to check for the same... she checked and she told me the business was fully closed and lights off as well. Basically, it kept saying KFC is preparing your food and it changed to KFC is wrapping up. And yet, none of the drivers were able to gain access. At this point, I had to cancel the order, the AI customer service on the app mentioned: "we see that you're trying to cancel your order. And delivery driver mentioned business is closed". This is by now close to an hour and fifteen minutes. Like why accept an order that kept giving updates that it was being prepared and then changed to wrapping up if no one is even there to open the business. The service at this KFC is horrible! I do online ordering and pick up myself...there is always something wrong! Either the service associates do not care that they are making the customers angry or they are just stupid. My family and I order from this particular store infrequently in hopes that our experience with the employees will be better. Unfortunately, the service never improves. Disgusting. This is the worst KFC in the tri-state area. The food takes forever and then when you finally get it, it's vile. Biscuits were like rocks to the point you could break a tooth. The original recipe chicken was a soggy mess. The oil was dripping off the chicken, the batter tasted undone and the chicken itself was tasteless. Every so often I get a craving for fried chicken. The offering at the local Giant supermarket is way better than this mess. This is the 3rd time in 6 months I've had the same experience. I stopped here shortly before 5 to pick up an original recipe family sized meal. VERY disappointed. First of all, there was a VERY LARGE pool of gravy in the bottom of the bag which had started to soak through. What a f**king mess for us to clean up. Apparently, the first container of gravy had spilled, and rather than use a new bag, they just placed a different container of gravy that was not leaking into the same bag. The chicken was dark brown in color, obviously not fresh, EXTREMELY dry & overcooked, hard to tell if it was even supposed to be the original recipe I ordered. I would say it was leftover from the lunch but it was not even that good. More likely a day or 2 old that they had warmed over in dry heat. Biscuits were also extremely dry & not warm at all. If I could give zero stars I would. First there was only one other car when I got in line. My order took over 40 min. for a drive through order. Half of my meal came after 10 min. After another 10 I ended up going inside for the rest my order only to be ignored by the cashier. I asked again about my food only to be told by the huffy cashier that he didn't know what to do. I then spent 20 min alternating between being ignored and treated rudely. I had to ask several times for a manager. After being told twice he was busy I said then knock on his door and he finally came out. He weakly apologize and asked what I wanted done about it and I said he could at least refund me the part of my meal that went cold by now. He just want to waste more of my time and remade the wrong food. By this point a line of angry drive through customers was growing behind me, also waiting on food and having to come inside to get it. RUDE, DIRTY, and SLOW!!! First they mess up my order at the drive-thru. I walk in to get my missing items. While I wait behind a man waiting to place his order, the man that comes to take his order was absolutely the rudest human being I've seen at a restaurant. He talked down to the man, interrupted him and then asked him why he was giving him attitude. That customer was incredibly patient and nice, had that been me I'd of lost it on that employee. Then that same employee attends to me I tell him my issue, he takes my receipt gets my missing items throws me the bag. No apology or empathy. Oh did I mention that this same employee was filling a bucket a chicken and when he needed another bucket he grabbed one but another empty bucket fell to the floor. He grabbed the bucket from the dirty floor and placed back in the shelf with the clean buckets. If I could give this place negative stars I would. Agreed that the service here is the worst ever. I have ordered cheese roll-ups here on multiple occasions and they don't heat them. You get a small tortilla with ice cold, shredded cheese inside. I went here not expecting much because the other reviews weren't too good. I thought the staff was very friendly. The cashier and another lady that helped me were both very nice to deal with. The food was good and both of my to-go orders were accurate. I do think the portions are a bit small for the price, but that's not this individual locations fault.
