25 Sep 2018 We went in and found the establishment was worn. It was difficult to read the menu. The menu did not say one could purchase an individual piece of chicken. The lady behind the counter was as slow as molasses in the wintertime. When we finely stepped up to the counter the employee was unable to address my questions about the menu. Her speech was inaudible. I asked if she spoke english, I'm pretty sure she did, but not very well. My wife and I walked out without ordering. We will not be back. read more

I was looking forward to eat at KFC after two years out of the country. If the server was friendly, the food was plain awful. Small pieces of chicken, dried up from too much cooking, mashed potatoes, dried up in the plate from sitting under heat, the corn was also dried up and plain awful. All successful bars and restaurants begin and end with the staff and service. I've been in this place many times and leave feeling unwelcome. This place could be more successful and popular if you hire bartenders who smile and cared as much or more about new comers as they do about their regulars. That's how newcomers become regulars because they want to come back. The food is good and well priced. read more

I visited here today. Ordered a K5 meal, with extra biscuits on the side. I never got the biscuits, got nasty coleslaw, and the individual at the drive thru never gave me my change. She took my money. This isn't the only time they've taken my money or got the order right. read more

For the record, this location is actually a KFC/Taco Bell split franchise, although you're eating the same unhealthy, chemical-laden grease food either way. Sometimes I get a craving for a beef and potato burrito and hit up a local Taco Bell, but it will never be this location again. The employees who work here never seem to get an order correct. Between my roommate and I, we've ordered food at this location about 15 times (via drive-through). Out of those 15 drive-through visits, each order was incorrect. That's pretty bad, even for a fast food establishment staffed by teenagers/doofuses. I usually neglect to check my order before leaving, so I routinely got screwed because - let's face it - I'm not going to drive all the way back for $3 worth of fast food. And, ultimately, shame on me for being too stupid to stop coming back, anyway. The tacos are incredibly skimpy. That is standard Taco Bell policy - to load tacos up with lettuce and the tiniest little glob of fake meat - so no surprise there, but this location somehow seems worse. I have peered into the drive-through window while waiting for my order multiple times and have seen a bunch of teenage kids messing around with no adult supervisor in sight, so it's really no wonder things go wrong here. I'm frightened to know about food safety practices at this location when the employees can't even count to 5. For God's sake, one of the drive-through workers asked my friend if he wanted butter on his taco. If you want Taco Bell during business hours, go to the Exton Mall which is right across the street and visit the food court. The service is much better there. If it's late and this Exton location is the nearest open KFC/Taco Bell, however, well... godspeed to you. Update - 10/18/13 I have continued to order food at this Taco Bell despite my awful personal history with it. The accuracy has improved ten fold, so that's a plus. Ordering inside the restaurant has become as bad as the drive through used to be, however. There is usually some old retired guy (not just one in particular; Taco Bell must have hired a few) who cannot work the register. When you ask for two different things, he will have serious issues compiling the order. After 5-10 minutes of head scratching, looking around with a forlorn expression, and pushing the same button over and over, either a younger, more experienced worker will come by and help (read: ring you up) or there will be a moment of eureka and the old guy will solve the complex mystery of how to couple a medium soda with a few burritos. God, I hate this place. There is now a Taco Bell down the road where Burger King used to be, and it is soooooo much better. read more

I don't usually write these as I am in the service industry and bad days are bad days..but when u cone in to pick up dinner quickly for a family of four, and the cashier is not the nicest person in the world..then the biscuits were hard, so we were told to wait a couple mins..did..then she said sorry 8 mins..and the manager was still trying to give us the hard biscuits.. No offer of discount no drink while waiting, really reinforces why I don't use fast food often.. Horrible service, i went in and thought it shouldn't take long. i ordered my food which i didn't have to wait long for, but then for them to make it took forever, after telling countless people that they ran out of stuff after they already ordered the stuff and waited for it i started wondering when or if i was even going to get mine. I waited there for 50 minutes then ended up being told i was getting a refund, which they could have told me 30 minutes ago and apologized instead of making me wait the ungodly time just to tell me that. It's hard to review because both times I went there, they didn't have what I wanted. Last night my husband and I went through the drive-thru, we ordered a 12 piece extra crispy. They didn't have 12 extra crispy so they said they could give us 6 regular and 6 extra crispy. Fine. Then they said they were out of biscuits, honestly my favorite part, but okay they said they would give us an extra side. We ordered the mashed potatoes, but oops no they were out of potatoes. How is this place still in business? Needs new management or be be closed down. Waited 40 minutes in line tonight. Chicken was cooked alright but had an "off" flavor, no chicken flavor at all. The drive thru worker, her name was Ashton, completely rolled her eyes at me when I asked for barbecue sauce. (It doesn't come outta your paycheck, girlfriend.) Not only did she only give me ONE but she gave me "sweet and tangy." The eye roll led me to believe that this was intentional. She then threw all of my items in the bag at me and said "have a great day" (even though it was 10pm) in the most miserable, monotonous voice. The people who work here have always been cool and the food always come out as expected of this chain. You have to be careful with order accuracy but i forgive them. The Nashville Hot Chicken is bangin. read more

This KFC needs to be under new management. This place is so dirty and i was asking the girl who takes order in the drive-thru questions and she just kept repeating herself even after i switched the wording of the question. She was extremely incompetent. I literally had to say "never mind" and pull up to the window. When i got handed my food i looked in my bag and turned to ask the girl if i could have extra mild sauce and she looked at me with a nasty face and slammed the window in my face...she was such a nasty mean human being. Just saw their commercial on pot pies and the guy said "I didn't know they made pot pies!" Well at the Exton, PA location they don't! Drove 7 miles for two pot pies to take home because my wife was sick only to find out they didn't make any that day. Unbelievable. Have been once and never again at this location. Service took forever and once I received my order it was wrong. I no longer frequent this location. The food is the same as any other KFC which would be 3 stars, but this location with the very slow service and incorrect filling of orders loses two more stars. read more

We are always ready for a disappointing experience on the rare occasion we visit the KFC in Exton. The wait times after ordering are typically excessive (30 minutes...really?) and they are usually out of many items. The people are generally nice, but not trained well (at all?). The staff does not seem to listen during the placement of the order, and there is quite a bit of yelling going on behind the counter. The orders are often wrong, and it seems disorganized and inefficient. The food, when eventually ready, is ok. If you are going for a fast dinner, pick someplace else. read more

I would like to give less. Where to start... while waiting in line, a woman approached the counter with an incorrect order complaint that she got in the drive thru. This was followed by two separate dine in customers coming up with incorrect orders also. My daughter ordered a Taco Bell combo of Loco tacos but cool ranch flavor, they came out wrong. The bathrooms were disgusting with no paper towels seating area was disgusting with food all over the place. At no time in the 25 minutes if we were there eating did anyone come out and wipe down any tables in the restaurant. I most likely will be getting food poisoning after that experience just from the fear of how my food was most likely handled. Never again !!! read more

WHAT THE HELL!!!! Went to pick up lunch last Sunday 2/25 and they weren't open it was 11:30am!!!! Sunday hours are supposed to be 10:30! So I called a lady answered the phone and she said not enough employees showed up so can't open yet!!!! What kind of customer service is this??? Boy has this place gone down hill ! I went though drive-thru on Wed. at 9:32pm and I was very unhappy. I want to order and I had said I wanted 3 WHITE pieces of chicken and someone cut the girl off to tell me about the special of 8 pieces chicken. I had said, " no, thank you" and I went on ordering and once again other person cut her off again about the special. And finally I said," Fine, give it to me." But I felt like I was pushed into getting it. And then once I got it, it only had 2 white pieces of chicken out of the 8 pieces. No one in our family eats Dark meat, so 6 pieces were not eaten. And I had got it on my way home and I was not going to go back since I was in West Chester. I was not very happy at all. read more

The absolute worst... Went this evening and ordered from drive thru. I ordered a very simple order, except I asked that my order have no tomato. I also ordered a KFC meal for my girlfriend and specifically asked for 2 sides, not once but twice. Stephanie was my drive thru host and she not only screwed up the tomato less order but failed to give me my sides on my other order as well. When asked at the window for sauce she rolled her eyes. Twas the crack of noon when I journeyed far and wide with my brothers in arms to conquer the craving for the quesalupa. Eat something that won't give us violent diarrhea, we asked? Ney, we need that which we desire. Arriving at the taco fortress, we had to brave the frigid cold during the trek from the mighty Mazda, across the mud moat, and through the gates. To our fortune, our bodies didn't have to adjust from the cold, as the restaurant was just as cold, perhaps even colder than the tundra from whence we came. The guardian of the register greeted us with a frozen glance, as she stood facing her icy kingdom. We placed our orders for the newest items that KFC and TB added to their expansive menu. While waiting for the food to be prepared (microwaved), we noticed that this fortress could be described in one word, "grim." It was as if we were in catacombs. The clientele and the staff looked as if they were begrudgingly forced to come to this cold restaurant everyday while every member of their family was systematically murdered by terrorists each time they stepped foot through the doors. When our numbers were called, we tried to stand up from our seats, but one of my friend's butts was frozen to his grease coated plastic chair. The chicken was supposed to come with cole slaw. There was no cole slaw. This Taco Bell is the reason why there is war. read more

Do not eat here. Went last week for dinner. The staff just stared at me for a good five minutes while I waited at the register. A man and his daughter walked up to the counter with a bucket of chicken. A man named John (it said on his name tag he was a five star employee, what a joke) walked up to the man and his daughter. The man explained that his chicken was slimy and wet. All the chicken seemed to be in the bucket. I've worked at food places where people have eaten all the food and said it was bad for a refund, this was not the case. The man who purchased the chicken was told that it was fine and that they wouldn't give him a refund. They didn't even take a piece out to look at the texture. The man walked out unhappy. Finally after being waited on after seeing that disaster take place, I got my food which was extremely cold. The bathroom had urine all over the floor as well. This place needs a health inspector/new management. What a disgrace. Also John and the rest of the staff need to know how to treat people. read more

This has to be the worst fast food experience I have had in 40 years!!! The staff was totally ambivalent. Tried to make polite chit chat and got stony blank look in return. I can't believe they got the order right, as I had to repeat it several times. They couldn't answer any questions, just looked at me. Either stoned or stupid, not sure which. One of the items I ordered was an order of nachos. When I finally got the bag, I asked for an extra sour cream, which I know they have, and the girl looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. After repeating myself several times, she finally said that it would cost extra and it was obvious that she didn't want to go to the trouble of getting it, much less ringing it up. And there was no one else in line. Not like they were busy or anything. We had gone inside to order because we weren't sure what we wanted. We ate here Saturday. We eat here often - whenever we're in the area - but this time, my husband ended up sick. All night long. So long yakking that even the kids heard him in the morning when they woke, he was still upchucking. The morning was Easter. The Easter bunny was not able to set up the Easter egg hunt. Or cook the Easter feast that the Easter bunny had promised me. Never had this problem before. But... we may just not eat here again. So sad. Very gross. read more

Sat in drive thru for about 15 min until someone finally came back to the window. He gave us our drinks, took our credit card, and then disappeared. We were sitting there for 15 minutes, no exaggeration. I was about to go in and ask what the hold up was, but finally he came back and told us he went on break and figured someone would help us. We could not believe he told us that. At this point, there were cars wrapped around the entire building. He finally gave us our card back with our food. I did not like the fact he took our card and disappeared. Who in customer service would do that? On top of our lovely wait, our order was wrong and cold. I wasn't surprised about this considering the service we were experiencing. I then had to go inside to fix our order after waiting in drive thru for 15 minutes, and was ignored for an additional 5 minutes at front counter while a woman was sitting on the floor by the register. She saw us, did not help us, did not get up. A man next to me was just as mad as i was because of the horrendous experience. I have not gone back since. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. I have worked in fast food for 4 years, and would NEVER go on break when it is very busy, especially if there was NO ONE there to cover me. He "figured" someone would help us? What a joke. read more

We ordered a Nacho Bellegrande for our daughter around 10pm. We parked in the parking lot so she could eat. She found a long hair in her food. She pulled at it and it came from way under all the nachos. She pulled the whole thing out, covered in cheese and beans. It was tangled in the nachos and not laying on top. We pulled around to the drive thru again and told the guy who took our order. He was extremely rude and told us to pull around, that had "he had to see this, he ain't got no one with long hair working there." We waited in line and when we got to the window, he essentially called us liars and was EXTREMELY RUDE. We informed him that all we wanted was for him to say he was sorry and could he get us another one. He never apologized nor offered us a replacement. He asked for our receipt and practically threw $3 at us and slammed the window. Did he really think that we would put a hair in our own food? We didn't ask for our money back, we only wanted to feed our daughter. We used to go to this restaurant every week, not any more. Our daughter now goes without her favorite Nachos. read more
