We are from out of town and at 5pm, expected there not to be a crowd but not expecting it completely empty either. Stood for a while waiting for someone to seat us as sign says to wait. Finally went to the counter and lady took us to a table. Took our drink orders. Told they did not have Mt. Dew on fountain, only in bottles. I chose just to get a Pepsi. Placed our order of bread sticks and Med pizza. Was told bread sticks come in 10 or 20. WOW. Our home place does 5 or 10 but OK. They come out as 5 longs cut in half to make 10....... Now it makes sense. Another couple come in so now 4 in the restaurant. They seem to do a LOT of drive through pick up business. Pizza arrives, A lot less sausage on it than we would normally see at home. If bacon was on it, I may could have counted the pieces. Peperoni same, very little. We asked for napkin and waitress advised they did not have any but could bring us some paper towels which she quickly did. We noticed no table had pepper shakers on them. Asked and she again said they were out but could bring us pepper in the little paper bag things like take out has. I did not ask but it seems as if a delivery truck had not come in some time or someone failed to place order for stock. Since we only come here once a year, will see what 2026 brings.

This was the spot! I got a double cheeseburger and it was cooked perfectly medium rare. Just enough pink without being 'undercooked'. It was delicious. I also got a hot dog, a Carolina dog it was called. The coleslaw on top was crispy and delicious! The other ingredients on it were perfectly portioned so nothing overpowered the hotdog at all; everything on it complimented the dog so very well. My wife got a Cuban burrito and absolutely loved it! Our party got some other hotdogs and burgers; all happy campers! Along with the burritos they brought chips; which tasted homemade. They were crispy and fresh. Now this place is know for bringing some heat on their offerings; and we did not order anything hot or spicy like that. Maybe next time! Other than that - this place was a treat. For seven of us the tab was under 100$ - which lately - that is a bargain. (For comparison when we were on the road - we stopped at a WaffleHouse which brought the tab to $104; and their food is hot garbage).
