KFC is excellent chicken! Having said that I can't say the same for their sides and other dishes. So my review is for the chicken only. At the Hanford location. I don't understand why so many people put it down, and I'm sure that there are many mom and Pop restaurants that make it better. But I like it once in a while for a fast stop lunch. The service is fast, although some staff can often be a little less than warm and friendly. The dining area is always clean and bright, and gives us a chance to eat other than at home. Pictures of the Colonel and posters of some of the history, etc., round out the ambience. Prices, like elsewhere, continue to rise and often the chicken piece size seems to dwindle. I love KFC chicken and I've given them really good reviews about their food before, but I just now went through the drive-thru and ordered three chicken tenders and nothing else, and it was $7.07! The service is horrible. I went to order the $5 bowls and I went through the drive thru. I didn't see it on the menu out side soi asked if they had it. She said yes and began to settle off a list and what was in it. She was talking so fast I couldn't understand her. I then tried to ask a question to clarify. She then proceeded to say "As I already told you..." and proceeded to rattle off the same list just as fast as before. I was so mortified I just called something out. While waiting in line I went onto Google to see if I coukd find what I wanted. I got the clarification I needed and when I got to the window I asked for it to be fixed. The guy who cashed me out was very kind about it but the lady who took the order was also the one who made it. She yelled for him to tell me " I already made it! Tell her to tell us sooner next time! Now its going to waste!"He looked at me, smiled embarrassedly and said "Im sorry, she said she already made it. And to tell her sooner next time because now its wasted." I doordash and I came here to pick up and order when I go through the drive through they ask me to park in the front so I do I then wait 20 minutes past when the order should have been done I walk in and the lady tells me there is no doordash I tell this her you just seen me at the window and confirmed the order was being made she then tells me they accidentally gave it to someone else and saysI won't make it unless you give me your phone to prove the order i show her my phone order and then argues with me about how it was already made even though they gave it to the wrong person without even asking for a doordash code or name like they are supposed to read more

I went inside to order at dinner time and ordered $45 worth of food. There was only a couple people inside eating and a couple people in the drive thru. I sat there in the lobby for 20 mins and finally got up to ask what was going on. They said they were waiting on the Mac and cheese and then she rolled her eyes at me like she was annoyed with me. So I said ok and sat back down. 10 more minutes later they finally had my food ready. By then I was over it and asked for the manger so I could tell him about my experience. She told me he was busy in the back making food and was too busy to talk to me. I asked her how long he would be and then she went and got him. I'm not completely convinced that he was the actual manager so I asked him and he said he was. I told him I was very upset with how long they made me wait and told him I just wanted a refund. Hate to do this to you guys but here we go. I'm craving some coleslaw and been wanting to try their new Nashville chicken. I ask for the 12-strip family meal which comes with a large coleslaw, mashed potatoes and biscuits. All through the drive-thru. Guy on the other side says I can mix and match any side i want since I really didn't want mashed potatoes and gravy. I asked if I could swap it with the macaroni and cheese and be said absolutely. Even read back my order correctly. I get home to find that I was given as my sides, macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes and gravy. Really!?!?!?! My receipt had the correct order. This is the second time in a row I've been done dirty at a drive thru. The first was the Hanford Jack in the box giving me a jumbo Jack when I paid for a double Jack. Do I need to become one of those people that sit there for a minute and check that their order is correct at the drive thru? Really all I wanted was some coleslaw and Nashville chicken which by the way I wasn't too impressed with. Every time walking or driving passed this street I only smell this wonderful chicken even if its surrounded by other restaurants this by far stands out! Just last time I went there I was missing a strip from my box and all the biscuits we got was very hard very, I normally don't order drinks and they give extra biscuits if you don't which I love cause then family gets biscuits and gravy the next morning but that time noone really was happy it's a long drive back so we didn't go take it back but hopefully next time they will be softer. read more

Three strikes, guess they are out. Went to get our chicken and made sure to say we wanted BOTH white and dark meat. For some reason they gave us legs and thighs again. We tried on 3 different occasions with the same result. Even specifically pointed out what we wanted each time. Grading it compared to other KFCs... it's what you expect from an average KFC fast food restaurant... Pros: The $5 fill up meals are nice (more chains should copy this), the drive thru seems fast enough when I visit, the food was what you expect from a KFC. Cons: They don't even carry strawberry lemonade even though they advertise it at the drive thru (?), employees at this location have too much fun or are not as 'professional' as say... McDonalds employees (!), and the cookie in the $5 fill up meals are gross. They seem to have XfinityWiFi... useful if you're a Comcast customer. read more
