I'm on vacation. I did not intend to TRAVEL all the way from the SOUTH PACIFIC to eat at a KFC in Germany. And yet here I am. Today is All Saints Day is a German holiday, which means not many places are open today. There are kiosks where you order and pay for the order yourself. This KFC had an English menu. But no matter. Just order by the pictures. ‍. They print your order # and the gal at the counter was really nice. Spoke in English. Asked for our COVID cards and photo ID. She also said if we wanted to dine in a restaurant, it would be easier to get the Luca app so you don't have to write your information for COVID tracking purposes every single time. We've been here over a week and no one told us that. But we're grateful! read more

The service is to be expected from this establishment. The Menu, could use some work, if possible. Spicy regular chicken. Spicy chicken sandwiches. KFC in Germany is just as delicious as the states! I was very surprised that the menu here updated (just the way it had been updated in the states). Biggest reason why we came was to see what the big fuss was about with the new Zinger. We are fans of the original recipe bites and the Doubilicious Sandwich. Can you believe hey discontinued this? Anyway, I was under the impression that the Zinger was just a crispy chicken sandwich, but KFC put a new spin on original recipe by making it crispy too!! Talk about a TWOFER! The sandwich is delicious, we've already had it 3x and this last time they offered to add BACON, talk about TWOFER PLUS BACON (which is what the MADE the Doubilicious sandwich!) You have to try this sandwich NOW! The sauce they put in this burger is also so yummy. I also LOVE how the FRENCH FRIES here in KFC in Germany! Yes, FRENCH FRIES! Something the states does NOT offer ;) Only reason why this place is 4 instead of 5 stars is because the service is not so great and the food gets cold SUPER fast! :( Other than that, really really great! read more

Been here twice, both times left less than satisfied with service or our meals. The staff at the counter seem less than happy to be there and don't offer options one would expect, while nothing has been 'bad' food wise while we've been here it it not the typical KFC that one would hope for or expect. Drive by it nearly every day and while tempted for a good KFC fix, don't stop by here any more. read more

My wife and I tried this KFC about a year ago and didn't much care for the food. We were driving by one sunday afternoon and not much else was open and we didn't feel like the a burger at mcdonalds or burger king so we thought we would give it another try. The chicken tasted sort of bland and we ate it any way. About 15 to 20 mins later i had an upset stomach. The next day my wife was sick. I think we will drive right on by the next time. If you are in the mood for chicken, I would suggest somewhere else. read more

I had a craving for good old KFC and I was not disappointed. My favorite chicken place. Wish they would build one in Landstuhl though. I would visit more often. Bet they would get a lot of business there too with the airbase there. read more

If you are missing KFC from the states and are thinking of coming here to get your fix... turn your ass around and head to POPEYES on base. It was EXTREMELY disappointing. Chicken was dry when it was cooked all the way thru, extra juicy when it wasn't (some of my chicken was a bit raw). Some were super salty and the mash potatoes tasted like gross cheap baby food. Maybe they were having a bad day but I will never be going back there. read more

I went with my husband and we asked the cashier for a family bucket and we indicated the pieces of chicken we wanted specifically and she asked the cashier and he told her that they could not. We indicated that even if we had to pay extra for the chosen pieces we could do it. the employee again asked the manager and this from the beginning with a very annoying face told us no. It was strange because previously we had already ordered the same and there was no problem. For the treatment they gave us, we will not return. read more

I haven't eaten KFC in over a decade because it was so bad. Ended up in Germany and tried it on a chance it was great! The place is clean and the food is great. They speak several languages and food is always fresh. read more
