Unfortunately the staff are not capable of operating a simple fast food restaurant, the strips were hot and good, the fries were left from lunch, not even my dogs would eat them. After 2 attempts to get my Pepsi I just had to leave with a funky tasting soda filled diet drink. Someone inside should be able to taste the drinks when changing the syrup but that concept is a lost skill at this dump. So got 3 chicken tenders for $11. Dry, cold chicken must have been fried in the same old oil as the livers because they reeked of that awful smell and I'm not sure they were fresh even when they were fresh. Ordered two 2 piece dinners to go. Got home to find the chicken was burnt. I called the restaurant the person I talked to said bring it back for a refund. I did not want a refund I was telling them the chicken was burnt, I was complaining about the food quality. The customer is told we are short handed, be patient, expect a delay, pay more ok, but poor quality is totally unacceptable. Like many others I am done with KFC. read more

Terrible place. We ordered the 12 pc meal from the Nicholasville Rd location in Lexington. It came with chicken that tasted like it had been sitting in a fridge for weeks, kind of breaded, and fried. It made my daughter and I sick with stomach issues (still dealing with it over 24 hrs later) and all that comes along with it. The biscuits were too hard to risk chipping a tooth on. The mac & cheese was sad. The potatoes and gravy were super salty, but tasted good. I called KFC to complain and was referred to our delivery provider. I contacted them where I was placed on hold for them to contact KFC. The "specialist" asked what the problem was then placed me on hold to discuss the issue with the "quality control supervisors". He came back to say they would partially refund us $18 out of the $46 we spent. So basically, we got 2 sides of potatoes and gravy, a side of mac & cheese, some napkins, and a lesson for $28. My family will never waste our money at KFC again. How are they still in business with food and customer service like this? read more

This place always effs up. Last two times I've had it delivered, there was no KFC kickin' sauce. All the chicken I ordered and had nothing to dip it in. Then, a few days later, my son and husband went through the drive-thru and ordered nothing but popcorn chicken, and wouldn't you know they were handed a big huge hunk of idk what it was, a wing? My mother and I ordered a two-piece chicken combo, three-piece tenders combo, and double down combo. We were told it would be a "five minute wait" on the double down, and to pull into a parking space. We waited for twenty minutes before I got out of the car. Just as I walked into the restaurant, an employee dashed out of the back door and ran the double down to the car. She forgot the potato wedges that came with the combo, though, and had to bring those out separately. While inside the building, I didn't see any other employees. The double down was lukewarm, and all of the other food had also cooled down while we were waiting. The excuse for the twenty minute wait was "no one told me it was up." Bad experience all around. This is extremely unprofessional behavior, and the food is far too expensive for this. read more

Probably the worst food in town if I am being completely honest. It used to be that the buffet was old and stale but the stuff you ordered to go was at least reasonably decent tasting. That has been thrown out the window. It doesn't matter what you get from here or when, it all tastes like it was made last Wednesday. The only thing that is even remotely edible are the cookies. Got to be worst KFC Buffet in state. Food is never fresh. BBQ Chicken so dried out its inedible. If its past 6pm you're not going to get fresh food. If you go through drive thru after 8pm they are going to unload old buffet food on you. If you complain or bring food back without the receipts they will tell you they cannot fix the problem. I have purchased buckets before to take on a picnic only to find the wrong order sitting in a 1/4" of oil. Today I went in for a $5 2-piece fill-up. Ordered extra crispy, not even close. What is going on with the restaurants these days. My husband and I went to KFC in Nicholasville Thursday 7-13-2017 at 5 pm and we ordered to the buffet I immediately asked for chicken legs because there were none on the bar they gave me 1 I asked for a couple of more but the manager Donnie and the employee were talking to each other they never replied or gave me any. I thought ok so we sat and I ate a little food and 1 leg my husband back up and ask for a couple of legs and this point he told they were out and it would be over 10 min before they were done. Now the first point I only eat legs at KFC 2nd point why was we not told when I ask for them at the beginning 3rd Donnie the manager told me there were other chicken on the bar, I paid for a buffet that is supposed to include legs and I don't eat anything else. Needless to say, he was very rude and I never finished eating and I was sick for several days and had not eaten so yes I was hungry. The customer service was horrible. As soon as we left my husband called customer service and reported it and was told a manager would call him Friday but he never received a call so my husband called and sure enough it was the same manager and he told my husband that we ate and there was other chicken at this my husband informed him that he ate but his wife did not. All I wanted was my money for 1 buffet because I should not have to pay for food I did not get nor did they have available and get this the manager Donnie hung up on my husband. At this point this manager needs to be demoted or lose his job completely. If KFC approves of their managers behavior and their customer service department not following thru that a district will call then we should all avoid this restaurant until they remember that the customers are the ones that pay them and keep the restaurants up and running. I have seen other complaints where the cooperate office won't reply to customer complaints and I hope it's not the case here. read more

The service I received tonight was terrible. They guy who was working, whose name is Michael M, was very rude. Proceeded to chat with his co workers about me because I asked him to switch out mashed potatoes for mac and cheese and he told me he couldn't do that, wouldn't do it, and repeatedly told me no when all I asked was to switch something out. It was one of the worst experiences I've had, and I myself work in customer service. If I could give this place a 0 star, I would. I will not ever be back at this location. read more
