First time having Big City Pizza, called in an order on Saturday evening it was ready when we arrived. The guy said I'll be right with you. So we waited while he slides and boxed three pizzas. The large pepperoni pizza was good but I was underwhelmed by the amount of pepperoni. The pizza was cut into 16 cubes and there were 21 slices of pepperoni. That's 1 1/3 slice per square. This place is like walking into a pizza oven, incredibly hot! The staff are probably all younger potheads. That being said they are GREAT! My foods ALWAYS perfect, they never forget a thing and customer service has always been a 10/10. I have a Big City much closer but I go out of my way to go here. My favorite all time order is the West Town pizza it features chicken with Buffalo drizzle and a ranch sauce unfortunately I do not have a picture as I consume it too quickly my mind is never on capturing the moment before it's all gone. And for when I'm wanting pasta I do the Ellis Island Chicken Alfredo totally customizable to your liking! We lived in Nicholasville 2 years ago and thought Big City Pizza was pretty good. We're back for a visit and decided to try it again. Beyond disappointed! I ordered a Caesar salad and Coney Island pizza. The salad had no croutons and was very small for $5.99. The pizza had very little toppings on it and was extremely salty. This place has clearly gone downhill. I expect more for $25. I will get pizza elsewhere next time. read more

My wife and my son each ordered 12" pizzas. My daughter and I each ordered a specialty sub sandwich. Quite a wide variety, to say the least, but we each were pleasantly surprised! My husband & I got delivery from here tonight & LOVED it!!! It's one of the best pizza places I think we've eaten from (& we like pizza ). For starters, we got the beer cheese appetizer. They even included an extra type of beer cheese & they were both delicious. We also each got calzones & they were also amazing! One of the best calzones I've ever had. They were also very fast & prices are very reasonable. We will definitely be eating here again. Ordered online got to the place when we where told it would be done. Was told it would be another 10 min. Waited the ten went back in and was then told it would be another 7 min. After that the pizza was done. After we got the pizza home it was missing two of the toppings we ordered and payed for. Some of the pizza didn't even have cheese on it and extra cheese was ordered. I have to say, this is probably the best pizza in Nicholasville. I bought the Hudson pizza. It did not disappoint. The Garlic Knotts however were a little lack luster. All they were, weee little balls of undercooked dough soaked in unsalted garlic butter with shredded Parmesan cheese. They didn't even have parsley!!! I could have done better on those myself. Hands down the Great Lakes specialty on Chicago Thin crush was the best veggie pizza I've ever had. I've been vegetarian for 6 months and had pretty much given up on finding a decent one. This is gonna be my go-to joint from now on. The meat-eaters loved the Deluxe New York style too. read more

I just love this place. It's the only pizza place that will deliver to our subdivision "out in the country". Lately I've been going to pick it up because they have a drive thru that makes it very convenient. Now, this is not Little Caesars where you get a pre-made $5 cheese pizza. This is a little more expensive but well worth it. My son loves their Chicago thin style cheese pizza so we always get that. I love the thick crust pizza and got one with sausage, pepperoni, green peppers, olives, mushrooms and onions the other night that was so delicious. They were running a special that included an order of garlic knots with marinara sauce. Carb overload - and it was wonderful. They do have salads if you need a balanced meal. Also, they have great hot subs and pasta. The guys that work there are great, very polite and hard working so please tip - they deserve it. Very friendly staff that are always professional and helpful when asking about the menu. The prices are reasonable and they have a wide selection or items on the menu to choose from.
