I originally reached out to KG Landscape several years ago to work on getting a design for my front and back yard done up. Kent was a pleasure to work with going back and forth in a consultative approach to getting the design drawn up and working with me on my vision and offering advise and thoughts to help me make the design be what I had fully pictured in my head and filling in the small details I may not have thought of. Just this last month we were finally able to execute on one of the larger parts of the design in my front yard, installed a paver patio and redoing a brick retaining wall to separate the yard from the street boulevard. Kent's crew were very deliberate, and careful in their work and did an awesome job rolling with some mid-job changes to the original design as the full scope of the state of the yard was understood once shovel hit dirt. Their drive to get the job done and their commitment to the final outcome and making sure that everything looked as great as possible and was as functionally useful as possible is next level. I hired KG Landscape for my snow removal services this 2013 season. I would NEVER reccomend them to anyone who is looking for quality, timely removal. They indicate that they "puposely" do not plow all the way to the drive and leave about a 1/2 inch of snow, which later melts and turns my driveway into an ice skating rink. For the amount of money that is paid for this service, I should not have to go back out and shovel up what they missed. When I have called (note, multiple times) to provide feedback, they make me feel bad for expecting quality work rather than wanting to make their customers happy doing a complete job. Very poor customer service expectations. In previous seasons, I have gone with other companies and I can promise you I will be going back, not missing one second with KG Landscpae. If you're considering KG Landscape, look elsewhere. read more

Had some landscaping and grass installed last summer. Everything was done well and in a timely manner. If there were any questions they would email or ask me before they planted. They were very helpful and were able to suggest plants that would last in the Minnesota winter while complementing the house. We interviewed several landscapers and initially chose KG because we liked Kent's design approach, flexibility in scheduling when we needed it (fast), and value. We confirmed we made the absolute best choice after having their crew onsite for a couple of weeks and seeing the gorgeous outcome! A couple of examples of wonderful service - 1) we had a GIANT custom pizza oven delivered and the KG crew helped my husband and the forklift driver carefully unpack, move, and position it perfectly on the foundation that KG had laid, 2) Kent was very accommodating in ongoing design changes and shifts, as well as 'getting' our aesthetic and finding AWESOME historic brick pavers for our patio, and 3) the little things that matter like completely cleaning up daily and at the end of the job (down to washing the sides of the house and the driveway), respecting existing planting, and even laying down some sod for free because they had a little extra at the shop! I would not hesitate to recommend KG or to use them again, which in fact we will be doing to finish our outdoor kitchen and landscaping in the future. read more
