Our Earthwatch crew stopped here at Bierland on our day off. One of my colleagues came from Germany, and he thought it ironic that he traveled half way across the world just to be culturally back. We took a tour and spent some quality time in their nicely appointed bier garden. The service was very good, tood is available, and although not much English was spoken, the universal language of beer flowed well. I had a nice stout and bought a nice mug (among an extensive glassware collection - another aspect of this area). Best of all we had a great time just hanging out and enjoying each other's company.
