I'm not even a big sundubu fan but the stuff here is pretty damn good. Came with a group of people and I ordered the pork sundubu with special rice for around $19. Others ordered the kimchee sundubu and bulgogi sundubu. It was pretty good and super filling. I was going to order the kalbi+sundubu combo but unfortunately you can't choose the type of sundubu with that combo, default is mushroom. We also ordered seafood pancake and that was plenty of food for everyone. Only gripe here is it's out of the way and the sundubu can take some time to come, but it's well worth the wait.

For only $15.50 you get a nice sized piece of salmon, 3 pieces of tempura, a small salad, rice, miso soup, and 2 pieces of sushi. Yum!

Well, how pleasantly surprised I was to find it is superb. Started with mixed sashimi, beautifuly presented on a slate, very fresh. The teriyaki salmon bento box was wonderful with so many little delicacies. My John dory with scalaps and a home made tartar sauce was out of this world. There is a small but adequate wine and beer list and sake of course. The service is warm and friendly with a very pleasant ambience. For a Japanese restaurant the price is quite reasonable.
