I stayed at the Meadow House for two nights this week. It was lovely. The cabin was stocked with…read moreeverything I could possibly need; the 360 degree views were beautiful and my time there was restful and quiet, which was what I was seeking. I was able to sleep in, read, sit on the porch and watch the deer, and wander the area and property taking photographs. For someone who works 7 days a week, this was a wonderful respite and time with nature. The owners were helpful and kind. Read the FAQs, don't expect to be fed a whole lot to do--that's really not the point. I look forward to returning some day to experience what it's like in a different season and explore other roads and little gems in the Driftless.

That was a little problem since we couldn't fully relax and play music quietly outside. There weren't a lot of instructions on where to find the remotes to the various electronics including the fan and the wifi did not work at all. The firewood was a bit expensive at 10$ per bundle. It was a small cozy little cottage and the owners made sure it had all the things you might need for a weekend getaway. The cabins are set in the beautiful hilly area of Driftless of Wisconsin and has absolutely stunning views. Might fo back to try a different cabin.

Overpriced & poorly run…read more Reserved months early and paid top dollar, but were given a broken golf cart, and staff rudely refused to swap it out -- despite unused carts onsite. The bathhouse near our site had no hot water all weekend, and the alternate one was filthy (used bandages & TP everywhere). Management refused any refund or credit. We camp often and have had far better experiences at much more affordable places. Save your money -- Jellystone Warrens is all marketing.

Did have an issue with a smoke alarm that would go off on its own and was not due to a cooking or other issue. Contacted staff to have them look at it - no one ever showed up so took the smoke alarm down and placed outside for it to continue to go off at night without waking younger family members. Pool and beach area were all nice and train operator was very friendly and gave our grandchild a short ride after we waited at the train stop and apparently the rides were over for the day even though it was still only around 4pm. Have plans to go elsewhere next year as a family to see other places. Would come back again as well as recommend to others.
