My granddaughter and I stopped by kids to kid today to trade in some of her clothes and toys. She's never done this before, and she has a hard time letting go of her stuff. But when she seen the store and all the different things they had to choose from she was way more than excited and willing to trade her things in! The staff we're all smiles and super friendly! They were able to go through our things in less than 30 minutes. And we picked out some really cute size 4 and five toddler girl clothes and a few toys that my granddaughter is in love with! They have new and pre-loved items. And they're always getting new stuff. They gave us a really fair price for the things they purchased and we saved a ton of money. read more

I had the pleasure to be checked out by Jill... she was so sweet and commented on some cute pajamas that she said would be so cute for me... there was no judgement when I bought size 12 girls clothes as a 28 yo. Little sis she know I struggle with feeling that judgement when usually checking out. Furthermore Jill was interested in my career with children in the spectrum and had the sweetest things to say about children diagnosed with ASD. She also gave me encouragement and gratitude for going to school for and working with children on the spectrum. Compared to others I've been to, this place is grungy and very disorganized. On top of that, I brought a huge bag of excellent condition clothes in to sell and after they made me wait for 45 minutes, they didn't take any items. I swear the lady did it on purpose. Needless to say they won't be getting any referrals from me let alone any of my money or designer clothes. read more

OhEmGee I love this place it was awesome to see so many options at affordable prices. I came in here because I am sick and tired of paying full price for Halloween costumes that only get worn once. So this year I took my niece my son, and my daughter to buy their Halloween costumes and the selection did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning in years to come to shop all Halloween costumes and save myself the disappointment of overspending.Sidenote no one gave me a hard time for not wearing a mask, my choice. read more

A little over priced for used clothes. I'd say it's at least $1-$2 a piece higher than Kidz Again prices. For example, a pair of used adidas pants in size 5T were $7! One thing that was good though, is that in April they still had pants and other needed cold weather items. There is a tiny play area for kids, you could fit maybe 3 kids in there. This wouldn't be the first place I'd come again to shop for used kids clothes. read more

They are usually pretty reasonable here as far as choosing clothing. Atleast they have been with me. I think it depends on the person checking your stuff because once I was a little disappointed with one of the younger girls working she turned away a $50 breastfeeding bra that still had the tag on it. I feel like she was in bad mood to be there in general though so took it out on clients by not buying anything. That was my last experience, so hoping tommorrow when I go in it's not the same girl. What I really like about this place is the cleanliness of the store and the organization. When it comes to store credit I feel this is the best place hands down to get credit at. I have 3 boys and I always find awesome deals and rarely pay anything because I trade old clothes for credit. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Walked in with a box of almost brand new newborn cloths to give away. Not even looking for money just to give them away. We stood around for 45 mins for the lady to not even open our box of cloths that's right SHE DID NOT EVEN OPEN THEM!!! and then she calls us up and says sorry we can't take these. Like excuse me you couldn't have told me an hour ago when I first gave them to you ! And on top of it she was really rude about it as well as the rest of the workers there. They were shirts saying how they love their jobs..well if you love your job so much then prove it! Show some customer service!! Shame on you! We will not be back to this store ever! Horrible customer service. I dropped off a bag of clothes and wasn't able to stay in the store. Yet the staff member didn't bother to mention that if you stay in store your items will be done but if you leave they push you to the end of the line and get to it when they finish the others. This is only the second time I've dropped clothes off but will be taking my stuff else where. read more

Not a great deal. Limited selection. A lot of stiff is over-priced. I used to frequent kid consignment stores in Seattle that were better priced than this one. And don't bother trying to sell them anything. The amount they pay is pitifully low. I'm just going to give my baby gear away to a family who can't afford to buy it. I'd rather do that than receive 5% of it's value from here just to have them turn around and sell it for close to full price of new items. read more

Don't go shopping here if you have kids with you. They aren't allowed to touch anything which makes shopping impossible. Had to put all the stuff I was going to buy back on the rack and walk out with my two year old. Not really family friendly. read more

This place is a joke, I brought in 3 garbage bags full of nice, gently used, name brand baby clothes, they only bought 2 items $8. I only got $8. They didn't even offer to help me out to my car with the 3 bags and they ask if you want to donate the rest, no way! I will never shop or bring anything here again read more

Dropped of a trunk full of stuff saturday and they were too busy to go through it so i left it there until monday. My husband had to pick it up by 8pm monday or they would donate. They only offered $40 and i was trying to make money for summer so told my husband to refuse it and just take everything home as it wasnt worth it. I would sell on ebay/have a garage sale. When he went to pick it up they refused to give him our stuff back saying it was already tagged and on the floor. We did not accept the offer and agree to sell yet! Horrible business practice and they need to tell you ahead that you wont have a choice if you leave it. I feel robbed of my own stuff and i had convinced my daughter to get rid of so much to help with our summer vacation. They took the valuable stuff and we got a measly $40. read more

Most of the clothing selections are just sad. They take a very minimal amount of items each time I've gone. The employees are always very rude. Especially the main lady that is there every time I go in. Definitely won't be returning as I used to sell to this place quite frequently and shop there. I have had enough of it and won't be supporting this business. I brought my stepdaughter here for her birthday shopping spree and wow!!!!!! No smell- which I find many of the low end consignment shops reek of body odor and I don't know what else. It's brightly lit, organized, and clean. The price ranges are on average $5.99-$8.99 for a dress. Which yes is a lot more than Idaho youth ranch... But you get what you pay for. The clothes don't have a smell or significant staining. They aren't super worn and they are fashionable and up to date. Heck I'd wear some of these dresses if they were my size! Give them a try! They do have half off and 25% sales on certain items. We had so many options I had to narrow down what we could buy. Much different experience at other stores. read more

Love this store. I think they have moved since previous reviews as I found parking great, the store is HUGE and nice wide aisles. My girls and I love to check to see if we come across any great finds. We spent about $140 recently for over 25 pieces of clothing including two Halloween costumes! read more

The store had a lot of merchandise but I felt it was over priced for what you got. A pair of used rain boots were $9.99 which is the same price you can find them new if on sale. I will not be returning to this store and will look for my bargains elsewhere. read more

Kid 2 Kid (now located on Fairview near Five Mile as of 2015), is a great place to get top money for your gently used kids clothes. The new location is much more spacious than their old locale on Milwaukee. I can usually get $20-30 for a small bag of clothes that I bring in (Old Navy, Gymboree, H&M, Target are the brands I generally sell). You get more money if you use it as store credit versus cash which is typical of these types of stores but its worth earning a few extra bucks. They have a nice selection of kids clothes, shoes and gear for sale including some new merchandise. read more

I come here every 6 months to get a new wardrobe for my kids, also return their old clothes and I end up spending maybe $200 for 3 kids , you cant beat that. Plus toys, books, so many shoes! Strollers they are fantastic read more

It looks like the magic number is eight dollars. I am beyond upset. They write these crazy rules as they go and I guess if you don't stay in the store, you don't get to see which items they buy or how much they gave you for them even though the signed documentation says nothing about that. Here's my great advice. Go somewhere and donate your clothing to some child who may not have them. This place isnt going to give you more than a couple of cents for something I brought in a brand new Northface coat with the tags on it and my buyout was less than six dollars. read more

I love kids consignment stores and when living in Portland was spoiled by the many great ones they have. This one is a big DISAPPOINTMENT and I've given it many chances. They don't take anything (never had trouble with that in Portland) and aren't particularly kind when stating so. I'm really hoping as Boise grows we get some new consignment kids stores so this one isn't the only option, they seem to be pricing things that aren't high quality in the first place new for similar prices once they are used. I'm finally going to take the hint and do my shopping for the kids elsewhere, ideally in a place that values customer service and quality. read more

I tried to trade in clothes that I never used that I bought there, the heavyset cashier with glasses is quite rude, I too had a lot of brand new perfect kids clothes, but she took none of them and wouldn't even take back things I bought there. Don't bother, try Other Mother's or Kids Again. read more
