Candace was cutting my hair and colored on Fri but Sunday wanted my hair shorter so I called and I went back Candace is a great stylist very caring really makes u feel like family but there was an old lady walking around everytime I looked up she was watching us and I was talking to Candace and she sat down in front and she started talking to me I felt very uncomfortable I thought she was boss but she wasn't but she was checking on us all the time I was getting my hair cut ! She is very annoying I luv for Candace to help me she's great but the older lady was very annoying she was not my stylist why was she always sneaking around watching didn't like at all ! I'm a senior and I have trouble walking long distances, so I order online for curb side pickup. I went to the store three times in three days to pickup my order. Each time after waiting 10 minutes, I would get a message on the app that said there was a delay in bringing my order out. After 15 minutes new message on app "will be out shortly". After 20-25 minutes new message saying that due to high demand they cannot bring my order out to my car, that I have to cancel the curbside pickup and go into the store and find the order pickup counter and get my order there. The last visit I called the store and was told that everyone was busy doing other things and didn't have time to take an order out to a car. I explained about trouble walking and was told "too bad" "that's your problem, not ours". I came home and cancelled the order and will buy it from Kohls instead. Very poor service. If they don't have people for curbside pickup, then they shouldn't offer it. read more

We had our daughter in the salon to get her new back to school haircut and her long beautiful hair was butchered. The stylist had no sense of stopping and chased her layers up nearly 10" from the lower middle of her back to her shoulders. We had to call another salon and have them squeeze us in just to salvage the horrible job. We made several attempts to call salon manager and store manager with no return of call or message. Very disappointed in my pictures from JCP Studio/LifeTouch. This is the first time the entire family was together for a family photo since 2019. The photographer was new (had never done a group of 13) and had trouble positioning us for the photo. The result was 20% of the group photos did not have the back drop-the had a metal curtain clip above my granddaughter's head. The Life Tourh/Shuuterfly experience was equally poor. It took over a week and three phone calls (long wait time) to get my digital album that the email said was there. The Shutterfly help agent had trouble understanding the issue and LifeTouch was closed the week after Christmas so no service available. Not satisfaction from JCP/Lifetouch when I showed them the issue except for their apologies. read more

I've ended up coming here about 5 times in the last month, and each time I've left happy! This is a nice, low key store to shop in. They had a wheelchair for my mom to use, and cute clothes & shoes for her. I brought each of my kids separately to get school clothes at great prices. We also came to get the kids pictures taken. There's a photography studio in the back that is super small, but the lady did a great job, and as always it was a great deal! The customer service here has been excellent each time as well. This is more toward JCP Salon. I understand they have people who are just starting and learning we all gotta start somewhere, HOWEVER, my son who has been growing his hair out since he was born (7 years) wanted to keep his hair on his crown long and shave the sides and back. He wanted two french braids for the rest of his hair. It is a cool style. I asked and explained what I wanted and I even showed the stylist a couple photos. She parted his hair very horrible there was not enough support from those clips she had in his hair and messed up his hair so bad! He had patches and chunks of hair still it looked like a hack job. She also took the clippers to my son HAIRLINE BY HIS TEMPLE and instead of going from bottom to top and pulling away LIKE YOURE SUPPOSE TO, she took her clippers and went sideways creating a bald spot on the front of his hairline. I did NOT see this until we got home! she used his long hair to cover it up and proceeded to tell me I cannot braid hair. You're a stylist that is something so simple you should figure out. BUT WAIT THERE IS MORE... My daughter was with another stylist and she talked a big game as if she knew what she was doing. Simple trim for my daughter and I checked her hair also when we got home and it is soooo uneven it is not funny! My children have long hair and have been growing their hair. What I asked for was not very difficult but very simple. These two stylists need to re-train and return to wherever they went to school and redo their courses. My kids were not moving. They have gotten their haircuts before but because of this pandemic, our salon shut down. I called their manager and explained to her how her "stylists" messed up simple cuts and she asked us to come back in so they can fix it. I simply told her NO I DONT WANT THEM TO FIX IT I WANT SOMEONE ELSE WITH MORE EXPERIENCE. I also asked her HOW DO YOU FIX A BALD SPOT? And she did not respond. I had an appointment made for 11AM the next day with a "master" stylist and this manager called me at 10AM to tell me the stylist was out sick and rescheduled me for 12PM. Then 2 minutes later she called back again and said you know what this stylist is out sick too. At this point I said forget it and hung up. Horrible service and customer service. I have before and after photos of my children. I had to go home and fix their hair as best as I could. My son was so upset and said he regret it and my daughter was upset as well we had to go a bit shorter to fix it. read more

This is specifically for the Photography side- Huge shout out to Kenny and Chanielle who were our photographers today. My 3-year old son was in a particular mood and really didn't want to take any pictures. No matter how hard we tried, he wouldn't stop crying. Kenny suggested that we take a break and come back later. We did...and stopped by the toy aisle on the way. Even though Buzz Lightyear ending up making an appearance in our pictures, my son came back happy and laughing at Chanielle's silly antics. We really appreciate their patience and understanding in a frustrating situation, it really makes all of the difference in an experience like this! thank you! read more

I have to givethis store teh 4 rating just for the mere fact of one great experience here today during a busy Christmas shopping day. I went in here for one item, found that I was 4 minutes lates for when the deal was supposed to end, but wound my way around the store looking for a short register line. Happened to find the 'secret' location in the back, and told the lady I was looking for a short line. She immediately turned that around on me as a joke saying I was looking for the 'short' woman (which she was kinda short :-) ) We all had a great laugh, customers and store personnel alike. I even got a pretend scolding for NOT having my coupons. Hey, I'm a guy! A coupon is something I see in the junk mail and Sunday paper! I left with what I wanted at an amazing price, thanks to the 'short' lady grabbing the coupon book and scanning me a much, MUCH lower price and a huge smile on my face the rest of the day. read more

Not the best JCP I've been in but certainly not the worst either. Grandma and I came in looking for chair pads thinking they'd certainly carry them but alas they don't. This was very surprising to the both of us given they have a decent home department in this location. We were able to find outdoor chair pads though tucked away in the corner of their home department, not sure why they have those and not the indoor ones. The staff were nice though about it and we even teased the guy who tried to help her while I was preoccupied with something else. All in good fun but hey maybe this store might want to consider chair pads, they're all the rage! ;-) read more

We ordered some boots for my wife online and they didn't zip up all the way so we had to return them. We were greeted and directed to returns immediately upon entering. Staff was friendly and quick. I think we spent more time in the line (there was only 1 person ahead of us) than we did explaining and returning the boots. They even took the box we brought them in off of our hands to recycle. Went in for the "Black Friday in July sale" and let me tell you, the signs are so misleading for the sales they have. Tried to buy a pair of shoes for my daughter and there was a sign right above where that shoe was located that said $19.99, no style number or verbiage stating select styles or whatnot just junior converse. Get to the counter, they try charging us $43.00, I tell them I don't think that's correct, they go and "check" it and come back saying they they were actually $34.99. WTF!? So now there's three different prices out there and no one knows anything. I haven't been in to this store in a lot of years and this just sealed the deal that I will never waste another dime in this backwards place. I have worked retail and understand stipulations and rules and whatnot, but everything about this place is misleading and it feels very wrong. So beyond irritated. read more

After waiting in line for over 15 minutes, I was informed that one of my items was missing a barcode so I wouldn't be able to purchase it. When I asked the cashier if he could call someone in that department to get him the price (since there was a tag with all the info, just no barcode to scan). I chose to give a 3 because part of my experience was good customer service as the other part was not good customer service. Almost 3 weeks ago I ordered 3 items online with a gift card. At first I ordered two items but my total left me with $1.00 on my gift card so I decided to order one more item and pay the difference. Every time I tried to order one final item I would put it in the cart and upon checkout I would get a message saying the item was no longer available. If the item is no longer available either take it off your site or when you try to add it to the cart let the consumer know then and not at checkout. I had to go back several times and finally found an item that worked upon checkout to buy. I noticed on the site it said items would take 7 to 10 days to arrive at the store to pick up. The time allotted came and went and I never received a phone call or e-mail letting me know if my items had arrived. I called the store to ask them and they told me they would be there the next day. I waited till the weekend to pick up my items. The clerk told me two of the items came in, she retrieved them and asked me to look in the bag to which ones they were. I told her which items and she wasn't sure what to do since the other item hadn't arrived. She jotted down my order number and other information in a notebook and let me leave with my two items. I waited another week for the last item and still didn't receive an e-mail or phone call. I stopped at the store on my way home from work and the clerk checked and couldn't find it. She had a manager help her and he couldn't find it either and a 3rd person helped with the search. None of them could find my order. The first clerk was advised to call catalog, she did and catalog told her the item shipped and gave no other help. So now no one knows where my last item is and this Friday will be 3 weeks that I've been waiting. The clerk offered to ship it to my house if it comes and I told her that would be fine. I asked her what happens if it doesn't come after this week and she wasn't sure, she didn't know if I would get my money back or what they would do. I appreciate the store clerks efforts to find my items and help me any way they could. I didn't appreciate how the catalog/online don't seem to care where your item is and sounds like once it's shipped it's no longer their problem. Online ordering needs some work, I also had issues with the shipping to store, it was still wanting to charge me shipping even though I wanted ship to store. I was able to pick this on my computer but not when trying to order thru my smart phone. Thank you and hopefully some time this year I will see the last item I ordered. read more

Amazing customer service is an understatement for this company. Troy (Men's fashion) and Marry (Jewelry) made my day from the moment I walked through the door.It started by me needing to find a jacket for my wedding, Troy helped my find a beautiful black classic fit Stanford jacket. After that ties and pocket squares, than ending with shoes. His amazing eye for fashion was so good that when my fiance showed up all she said was yes to everything. If that wasn't enough Marry at the jewelry counter helped me find a ring that will make my wedding day. A nice flat black Tungsten ring. For me and many other men it's very hard to find something that isn't shinny and/ or filled with stones that costs an arm and a leg, but not for this well trained staff. This store always has great deals and unbelievable clearance. Certain departments are more helpful than others, but there is usually someone around if you need help. I spoke to a lady named Ronnie who took my name and number and said she would call me back as soon as she was done helping the customers she was currently helping. She ended up calling me 3 times in order to help me find the exact piece I needed.
