She was so helpful in directing our family on poses and she knew how to capture each of our children's personalities. She really took her time with us and the resulting portraits are the best we've ever had taken. She's great at making you feel relaxed and the results are photos with genuinely happy expressions. Beyond her technical skill and artistic talent, she genuinely loves and understands others and it shows in her work. About 10 years ago, Katie also took family Christmas photos for us. We had a very disagreeable two year old and she not only was able to help him sit still, she got him to smile.
