She was so helpful in directing our family on poses and she knew how to capture each of our children's personalities. Beyond her technical skill and artistic talent, she genuinely loves and understands others and it shows in her work. About 10 years ago, Katie also took family Christmas photos for us. We had a very disagreeable two year old and she not only was able to help him sit still, she got him to smile.
