Just left with clothes from H&M and polo that my son only worn once and some never even worn. Was told that if it's folded at the end they will not accept it. Also was told I would have to wait 35 minutes they didn't accept 1 item from me and I had a basket full of clothes. Asked her to explain why they couldn't accept it and she said SHE COULD but just that one. I took my items! Told her it's no way she looked at everything in 2 minutes. Horrible! I feel like all the negative reviews clearly don't understand what this place is or how it works. Yes, the staff is young, but didn't you ever have a first job? Also, it's KID TO KID, not NEW STUFF for DIRT CHEAP. This stuff is previously used/worn. If you don't like it, go somewhere else. Don't leave a negative review because the business doesn't operate the way YOU need it to. They operate how THEY planned to. I just bought my 5 year old a whole new summer wardrobe after I turned in her new clothes for store credit! it worked out pretty good! a great selection for her age and size. I want to start by saying that normally I am a really big fan of kid to kid in Georgia. However, today my experience was a little bit less than pleasant. I took my two daughters shopping today and when we went to go check out my toddler really wanted some candies so I grabbed bag of it in the store and let her eat a piece. However, the was clearly old and stale and extremely hard, it was supposed to be gummy worms. I told the staff member checking me out because clearly my toddler can't eat this, and she and they told me that they couldn't take it off. While the was not a big bigger concern to me was that this is clearly and not good and they remove it from my . On top of that when my toddler was walking around the toy section looking at the toys, the staff members were picking up everything and anything around her, mind you I was picking up behind her as she went, but the staff seemed irritated that she was even looking at toys. Absolutely pissed at their service. I took 2 large boxes and an OG doll cabin in to sell. They told me before I came I needed to have everything organized in baggies so they knew what went with what so we did that. They took soooo many items. However they took a main piece and then left me with the small pieces, or they took the small pieces and not the main piece, or they picked pieces out of the baggies leaving me with incomplete sets. Basically now what I am left with I cannot sell elsewhere because it's all incomplete. They also only gave me $37 for everything they took!!! Including the large cabin and a few complete sets. I am so upset because I thought they'd at least be fair! Now I'm screwed with what they left me with. The process is ridiculous. Leaving items and just hoping the store is fair was my biggest mistake. I would have been fine with $80 at least for what they took but $37 felt like a massive slap in the face. They'll never have my business again. I'll never sell or buy from there again. Nor their sister companies. I'll make sure to tell any and all my momma friends the same. I have shopped kid to kid for years. Good prices and clothes in great condition. As fast as kids grow out of clothes. This is a good way of keeping up with your child outgrowing items. Staff ignores customers and jokes chats among themselves, even if you are standing right in front of them. They play adult music in a children's store, curse words included. They pay you next to nothing when you sell them good quality in-season clothing, and charge way too much for their items. These people are stright up criminals! Do NOT sell your child's clothes to this corrupt company!! They will take valuable clothes and give you pennies to nothing for your clothes! They are basically thieves that are stealing from their consumers! I will be submitting complaints about their business practices to the Governor's office of Consumer Affairs, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Attorney General's Office. I took in a large contractor bag of my son's clothes. They said that it would be over an hour before they could get to the clothes to value them. I was on my lunch hour I couldn't wait, so I left them. 2 days later still not getting any email on the status of my clothes. I called them and they offered me $6 in store credit. I gave them clothes that they could get well over $100 for in resell. I expecting maybe a minimum of $20-$25 but $6 was an insult. read more

I will give this store a 2.5 stars. I've been to every location and while they have a ton of really nice items here they are hands down the most expensive with most items ranging from $7.99 and up. I got some nice finds here but compared to the other locations the prices here were premium. Similar clothing at the other locations were less then half the price. I also didn't understand the pricing... I landed a brand new dress with tags for $2.19... yet a majority of used dresses that were of less quality were $9.99. It didn't really make sense and I think they need to do a huge walk through and price items accordingly if they really want to generate sales and boost their reviews. Tons to look through compared to the other locations but the prices don't add up for resell and are way overpriced. read more

As a long time customer of this location, I've had several less than great experiences but have always brushed it off because the people that work there are (usually) kind. However, after a recent experience I felt compelled to share my experiences. As I was shopping, my daughter was playing with an item in the toy area and I noticed one of the teen representatives told her to stop in an unkind way. I respected the stores policy of not playing with toys but my daughter was visibly upset and crying. As I was about to approach the counter I heard the two behind the purchasing counter laugh and brag about "being mean" to my 4 year old daughters..just to give you a back ground about the kind of people who work there. According to a few other reviews it seems that this is not new with their staff being rude to young children. Then, I had to take my daughter to the restroom and there was not any toilet paper so I had to quickly go to the restroom right next to it to grab some just to realize the door automatically locked and my 4 year old was stuck in there!! It took a long time to get someone to come unlock the door for me which is a HUGE safety hazard. They won't take anything with stains however when browsing through items you will find just that (stained clothing). I don't live close to this location but I sold a lot of items and donated the rest. I was told my buy was ready via email and traveled over there just to be told the entire order wasn't completed just the first 100 items. I had my baby in the car so I couldn't wait the remaining hour it took to sort through the rest of my items. After that I completely had forgotten about my items and called 8 days later (I did sign off that after 7 days I would take store credit instead of cash, however because of the situation I hoped they would make an exception. I was told no and it was out of their hands. I don't feel that the customer service there is very great given these experiences. There are other places to donate your children's clothing so I will go there from now on. read more

When once upon a child closed I started coming here, worst decision ever. They are more expensive - the workers are so rude (the owner is the sweetest, though) I would go in at LEAST once a month and buy $200 of clothes, shoes, accessories, and toys. But I never sold to them. Regrettably I brought a huge bag and basket of GENTLY worn things (my daughters basically wear everything once or twice because I have a shopping problem) - There was a 2 hour wait at 6:30 so I decided to leave my stuff. I thought to myself I'll get at least $50 for all of this (off of memory from selling to once upon a child) I got my email at 8pm they bought $19 worth of items! $19!!!! Almost everything was bought from them and worn a few times. Whatever, it is what it is. I decided to go pick up my bag, basket and a few things for my daughter. I'm told I can't get my bag back because it was donated (I asked the worker the day before if when I come back can I get my basket and bag back, she said yes of course just ask at the counter) - guess what - they said no because it was donated. I get store policy, but make sure all of your workers are on the same page. And make sure they understand "customer service" because they were rude as heck in there. Avoid this location - drive somewhere else for nicer people I know it's silly to be upset about, but I spent so much money there through the year - so it's very frustrating that they pride themselves that they buy gently used clothes but don't buy back 1/2 of their own stock read more

The staff at this location are not helpful whatsoever. I dropped off 4 trash bags of clothing to sell and planned to pick up the next day (the woman said I had 24hours) They sent an email at 4:30 stating the buy was finished and if not picked up before 8pm everything would be donated. I read the email at 10pm and immediately wrote back stating I would be there to get the clothing since the lady checking me out said I had 24 hours. Everything was donated without notification. This is the last time I will sell to this store. read more

I'm giving this place 1 star only because I want to give a review. First off, I took my clothes at 12 PM and they said it would be maybe an hour and I came back at 3:30 and they still were not ready. I live an hour away and had to come Back the next day because they couldn't get them ready in time. Second of all, their customer service is TERRIBLE. The girls that work in there are rude and act like they do not care about the customers whatsoever. I walked up to the counter twice with no greeting or anything. Third, I found plenty of items in there that were old and stained, they did not take many of my daughters clothes that have never even been worn. Lastly, I gave them 78 new or in very great condition pieces. All which were name brand. They gave me 59 dollars for all of the pieces at which they sell them for 4-5 dollars each. Overall, their service sucked. They will not get my business again. Don't waste your time. read more
