I am glad we did. When we walked in we were not treated like customers, the staff all treated us like old friends that had not visited in far too long. Soon we were chatting just like old friends. The furniture is amazing, the quality is first class with reasonable prices. I was impressed with all of items. The bakery has many wonderful smells and the pretzels were to die for. the petting zoo is under the store (the building is a converted barn on a hillside) my granddaughter loved all the animals. I will never buy from Schlabach Furniture again . I would rate them zero stars if I could. Bottom…read moreline Schlabach Furniture kept our deposit and never delivered our furniture. We placed an order with Schlabach furniture in August, 2021 with an estimated delivery date of 9 months (June 2022) and put down our 25% deposit. When we didn't hear from them by June 2022 we emailed them with no reply and tried calling them multiple times over many weeks and never received a call back. Finally in October, 2022 I drove over 2 hours each way to try to find out what was going on. There was no one there that could even find the order or tell me the status and was told Daniel would call me back that day. I never heard from Daniel. I then filed a claim with the Ohio Better Business Bureau, but since Schlabach Furniture never responded to their inquiries the claim was closed. I then filed a claim with the Ohio Attorney General's office but Schlabach Furniture never responded to their inquiries and again the claim was closed in April 2023. The only action left would be to take Schlabach Furniture to small claims court but that is not worth it since it would be more expensive to go that route than the value of the deposit.
