They insisted they would keep an eye on that class, and then reported that they didn't see any signs of abuse. They also lied to me on the phone while I was watching the events unfold live on camera. When I would bring up an issue with the admin team themselves, they would blame the teachers and then tell the teachers I was mad at them, forcing them to apologize. Absolutely toxic. The playground has one play structure with one slide. During the summer, they took away the gymnasium room from the younger kids, so they were stuck in their classroom all day. Why am I paying over 100$ a day for this?

I haven't experienced any issues since and I've been very pleased with my time here. The teachers are very well mannered and professional. All very personable. My kid is actively engaged everyday, and he loves the yoga and music classes they offer. It's probably his favorite days here. The facilities have a great open layout which my kid loves the space to runaround and play. They do fun activities throughout the year and involve the parents. They have an app to help see what your kid does every day and updates with reports. I'd recommend this place and I know my kid is well taken care here.

The school operates on a very limited budget for education, resulting in a lack of essential classroom resources and a deficiency in authentic Montessori materials in the toddler class, such as practical life, math, and language materials. Instead, teachers are advised to purchase cheap supplies from dollar stores. I had to request parents to provide practical life materials like fruit and vegetables for lessons. Unfortunately, when we ran out of materials and the children were eager to engage, I found myself apologizing, explaining that we lacked these resources due to no weekly budget in the class - such situations compromise the authenticity of the Montessori approach and create challenges in delivering quality education. Moreover, the cost-cutting measures extend to the parents, who are required to provide snacks, water, and even plastic bags for the whole class on a monthly basis. The school fails to provide basic supplies like plastic bags for diaper changes, forcing teachers to borrow from each other. The frequency of fundraising events and requests for parental contributions raises questions about the allocation of funds. When it comes to safety, the school placed a much older child who frequently hurt the younger children in the toddler class. We experienced instances such as a child pushing five children consecutively on the head. Two teachers in my class reported the issue to the head of school, who responded with "I can't deal with it now, I am busy" and often shrugged off similar events. This lack of concern for the safety and well-being of the children in the school is deeply troubling. Furthermore, the hiring practices are questionable, with individuals who are not capable of working in a childcare setting or a lead teacher who doesn't have any training background in Montessori education being brought on board. Additionally, the treatment of employees is disappointing. Upon tending my resignation, the company unjustly reduced my pay rate without informing me and prematurely terminated my contract, depriving me of entitled paid holidays. In summary, it is sad to witness how this company prioritizes PROFIT over the well-being of its students and employees. Megan called to let me know that the classroom teacher realized they had forgotten to send home two unused bottles of breastmilk. Normally, they would keep them for use the following day- but it happened to be a Friday. Immediately my heart sank, because Goddard observes strict time limits on storage of breastmilk/formula, and I knew that the bottles of liquid gold would not be able to be saved for Monday. I could have driven back to the school to pick them up, but instead Megan offered to drop them off to my house on her way home that night. Talk about service! The teacher didn't have to alert someone to the oversight. Megan didn't have to go out of her way on a Friday night to drop off my baby's bottles. But they did it anyway! For instance, around Christmastime this year the children helped to bake gingerbread cookies. When they went into the kitchen with their teachers to see if the cookies were finished, the gingerbread men had escaped and the children had to look around the school to find them! The children helped to make the blueberry muffins for a muffins with mom event. Around Easter, the school gets a delivery of eggs in an incubator and the children excitedly watch the eggs every day to see if they can see them hatch. I could go on and on about the sweet activities that the school has for the children. My son looks forward to going to school every day and always asks me what "day" it is, as there is a theme for each day.
