Additionally, the prices for the shoes are about the same as Rack Room Shoes, which carries pretty reputable brands such as crocs and bare foots that give more support. I would pass up buying a shoe from this location unless it was for the purpose of buying tennis shoes. However, parking close to the store front is a bit challenging. Unless you backed into a parking spot, you'll have a difficult time backing out because traffic is constantly coming both ways. Terrible Inventory and Customer Service - Lost a Customer for Good…read more I placed two separate orders with Academy - one for home delivery and one for curbside pickup. Both orders showed items in stock and were marked as preparing for shipment/pickup. Shortly after, both were canceled because the items were supposedly out of stock. To make things worse, I had to deal with terrible customer service. No real help, no clear answers - just frustration. Now I'm stuck waiting for two separate payment holds to be processed so I can get my money back, all because of their mistake and poor inventory system. This entire experience was an inconvenience from start to finish. Academy has lost me as a customer, and I'll be telling my family to avoid shopping here as well. If you value your time, money, and patience, shop somewhere else.

Came to this Famous Footwear since I was in the area. It may have been my 2nd time visiting. There was hardly any foot traffic in the store, which suits me just fine. I was greeted upon entering, checked on while I shopped to help me find my intended purpose of purchase, in which was shared to me that I could order any shoe and have it delivered to my home for free. I explained that I attempted to do this through the app, but it was later explained to me that there are no delivery charges, regardless of your transaction amount, when you order through the store. Nice! I was at least able to find one pair I had already identified for purchase previously in store. I tried to see if another pair in store could compliment my needs, but it didnt happen. Decided to take a chance on the pair that iniitially caused the delivery dilemma and see how they work out once they arrive. The online ordering with the store was very smooth. They inputted my shipping info and telephone number and I was able to verify the info before it was finalized. Additionally, I was able to stack coupons for the transaction. Not only did I get the BOGO, but had earned a $5 off coupon and was able to utilize the BOGO + 15% offerred at the time. Can you say score?! One pair by themselves were $40 regular price. I ended up only paying $45 for BOTH pairs! Plus I was able to take the pair that were in the store. I was sent my tracking info for the order a few days later to see when the order will arrive. From someone who hates shoe shopping, Famous Footwear has definelty softened my stance on this statement. In fact I think Im becoming a shoe junkie because have several boxes of unworn shoes under the bed right now! A girl has to keep her shoes game tight, right? And if you like to do so while saving a few dollars, then Famous Footwear is the place to go!
